BIAFRA: IPOB PRESS STATEMENT; THE AREWA NORTH’S CALL FOR THE REARREST OF ONYENDU MAZI NNAMDI KANU THE LEADER OF THE INDIGENOUS PEOPLE OF BIAFRA.

Press Statement

August 31 2017

As the contraption called Nigeria continues to dance to the beat of the Surugede dance, its inevitable fate is without a doubt sealed and discerning minds are convinced of what the ultimate result will be. Goaded on by certain individuals of northern extraction and the born to rule ideologues of the Hausa Fulani oligarchy, the geographic expression called Nigeria is headed to one mighty irredeemable fall.

Those that hope to ride on the back of the legitimate demand by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) under the leadership of Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to attempt to secure and guarantee the continued and constant flow of crumbs from their masters table are in for a shock. In this category of leaches is one Paul Unongo who believes that having been made a paper co chairman of the Arewa Northern Elders Forum, he now has the temerity to open his dirty mouth to condemn the Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo for daring to go contrary to the expectation of his slave masters. Mr. Unongo is telling us that the Arewa youths that committed a clear and indisputable treasonable act when they issued a date for Biafrans living in the North to vacate the north of be massacred and their property destroyed cannot be arrested because according to him the matter has been resolved. Mr. Unongo wants us to believe that the Hausa Fulani youths that released a song and audio recordings calling for the massacre of Biafrans residing in the north should not be arrested because the matter has been resolved? Resolved by whom, how, where and when did this resolution take place Mr. Unongo is either deceiving himself or he is living behind the times.

This man thinks that by doing the dirty work of the Hausa Fulani Oligarchy, the constant slaughtering of his Benue people by the same Hausa Fulani that he serves will come to an end. How very mistaken he is. This Paul Unongo who is always missing in action just like the greatest of the Hausa Fulani slaves Gowon misses in action every time their people are massacred by the Hausa Fulani Janjaweed Herdsmen, believe in his warped mind that everyone will want to remain a willing slave like him. Well for his information we the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) led by our courageous leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu have made a conscious decision to take our destiny, that of our children and generations unborn into our own hands by shaking off the shackles of oppression that held us down for more than hundred years. Mr. Unongo has of course the liberty and right to choose to remain a slave to the Hausa fulani caliphate but he should not expect the Indigenous People of Biafra to agree to remain in servitude with him.

Mr. Unongo and those like him losing sleep because someone has finally decided to stand up to defend his rights and freedom are exhibiting a malady that is a result of envy and jealousy because Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is doing what they are unable to do. These people inhabit a clime that is so uncivilized that civilized ways of dispute settlement are to them an anathema. These bunch of hopelessly lost individuals should be expending their time and energy to ensure that Muhammadu Buhari who is a chronic flouter of decisions of courts of competent jurisdiction is impeached and committed to prison. They should be asking for the arrest of Lawal Daura the SSS thug who is presently in contempt of court of competent jurisdiction which ordered that Mazi Bright Chimezie should be releases.

These buffoons calling for the re arrest of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu should be demanding that people like Tanko Yakassi and Junaid Mohammed should be arrested for their hateful and inciting statements. They should ensure that the Nigerian government is compelled to arrest and prosecute the Arewa youths as demanded by the UN for incitement to commit genocide against the Indigenous people of Biafra residing in the Arewa region. The likes of Mr. Unongo and Gowon need to be reminded of what every Hausa Fulani person thinks of them and this thought and mind set is aptly encapsulated in the words of the late Sarduana of Sokoto Alhaji Ahmadu Bello that “The new nation called Nigeria should be an estate from our great-grand father Othman Dan Fodio. We must RUTHLESSLY prevent a change of power. We must use the minorities of the North as willing tools, and the South as conquered territories and never allow them to have control of their future”. That is the life Mr. Unongo has chosen but the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) under the leadership of Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will not be compelled to agree with him hence our legitimate and conscious decision to defend our rights, freedom and values as Indigenous People of Biafra.

We commend the Ohanaeze leadership especially the President General of Ohanaeze Dr. Nnia Nwodo for showing courage and speaking like a Biafran elder. We urge Ohanaeze leadership to continue to be courageous and be rest assured that the Indigenous People of Biafra under the leadership of Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will stand with them if they continue to speak in the defense of the dignity, honor and values of the Biafran people.

The Directorate of State of the Indigenous People of Biafra under the leadership of Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu wishes to alert the world community of the setting in motion of a grand plan to turn Biafraland into an open prison as there are plans to deploy huge military personnel and armaments into Biafraland. The plan by the Nigeria government to re-arrest our leader in the hope that such re arrest will halt further agitation by the Indigenous People of Biafra for the restoration of the Sovereign and Independent Biafran Nation. It is important that the Nigerian authorities are made to understand the dangers inherent in that plan. The government want to provoke violence and use that as an excuse to unleash mayhem on the Biafran people. The international community must be alive to its responsibilities as it concerns Indigenous Peoples rights. This they should do by urgently putting machineries in place that will allow the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) exercise their right to Self-determination through a UN organized Referendum in Biafran Territories.

We could recall vividly how Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was illegally arrested and detained for close to 2years on a trumped-up charge of treasonable felony but rather than dampen the resolve of Biafrans in agitating for their freedom, rather than discourage Biafrans, his arrest strengthened our determination and resolve to pursue our right to Self-determination. The lack of diligent prosecution of his trial on the part of the Nigerian government is a clear evidence that they have no case against him and ware left with no option than to grant him bail albeit with conditions that are desired to take away his fundamental rights and freedoms. They had hoped to intimidate him into silence but to their disappointment Mazi Nnamdi Kanu cannot be intimidated. Now the Arewa North very jittery are calling for his re arrest for daring to oppose their hegemonic stranglehold on the contraption called Nigeria which they see as nothing but their grand father’s estate. Our promise to them is that the Indigenous People of Biafra under the leadership of Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu shall resist any re-arrest order of our leader even with our blood if need be. Individuals, and groups have advised the Nigerian government on the dangers inherent in its plan to re arrest the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra. It is important that the Nigerian government heeds to this reasonable advice from well-meaning individuals and groups.

BIAFRA: WHY IT IS REFERENDUM FOR IPOB AND NOT RESTRUCTURING OF NIGERIA

August 31, 2017

In response to the ongoing debate on restructuring Nigeria as being postulated in certain quarters vis-a-vis the demand by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu for a United Nations organised and conducted referendum, making headlines on Newspapers, Radio and Television stations across Nigeria and the world, as well as on social media, unscrupulous elements are beginning to play some impersonation games by writing jargons and concocting all manner of lies against Mazi Nnamdi Kanu the supreme leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) with the motive to confuse the general public and attempt to instil doubt in the minds of millions of followers of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

To begin with, structure “is the arrangement of and relations between the parts or elements of something complex”. It also means to arrange, organize, design, shape and assemble”. Going by the dark history of the amalgamation of the geographical areas that formed the present day Nigeria by the Scottish soldier of fortune Frederick Lugard in January 1914, everyone can see that Britain intentionally and forcefully tampered with something very complex by nature, and amalgamated the indigenous peoples that owned the land against their will. The Royal Niger Company in the guise of intercontinental trade partnership with the indigenous people subtly started a war of colonial conquest against their indigenous hosts. Thus, Nigeria was structured to meet the exploitative aims of the colonial masters, who after Nigeria’s paper independence handed over the fraudulent structure to the Hausa-Fulani oligarchy to continue from where they stopped, encouraging and supporting them not to relinquish power to any of the other amalgamated units since this will be detrimental to their interest and will have adverse effect on their business objectives which is of paramount importance to them. This situation enormously strengthened the born-to-rule mentality of the Hausa-Fulani oligarchy. The issue of restructuring Nigeria as an entity is considered dead on arrival by the average Hausa-Fulani person, as it threatens their core existence as a people, because of their dependence on the resources from Biafraland for survival. It is this mind set and attitude that explains why the issue of restructuring was recently rejected by the House of Representatives and the House of Senate respectively, by the Hausa Fulani who are in the majority in both houses and cannot vote against the fraudulent structure that installed the loop-sided political system to their favour. It is laughable when you hear the ungrateful parasites make empty claims to be the bread basket of the contraption called Nigeria.

The word restructuring has only become an issue of public debate in Nigeria because there is something wrong with the structure itself. However, the term restructuring has become a contested context among different political groups in Nigeria, as some stakeholders make conflicting interpretations of the term to favour their own political interest. And that begs the question as to why are people talking about restructuring after 57 years of independence? Why have they all been held in captivity all these years? Who removed the gag from their mouth, and blindfold from their eyes? It is incontrovertible that the emergence of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and his IPOB has brought light not only to the people of Biafra, but to other nationalities trapped in the geographic space called Nigerians and a revolution is about to take place as a result.

The Indigenous People of Biafra led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu see referendum as the only viable solution to the political and economic disaster that beclouded Nigeria since the return of General Muhammed Buhari to the seat of power. Again, let us expound the actual meaning of the word referendum; “it is a direct vote in which an entire electorate is asked to vote on a particular proposal”. Unfortunately, the word referendum has also become a contested contest among several ethnic nationalities and political groups in Nigeria, as some see it as the call for war and secession while others see it as unconstitutional in a supposedly democratic government. However, this is not surprising because their confinement in the zoological republic of Nigeria has so much impacted on their ability to reason as reasonable and civilized people. When Mazi Nnamdi Kanu calls Nigeria a zoo, some people find it offensive while others are of the view that Nigeria is worse than a zoo and it’s better to call it a jungle or animal kingdom. But after a deep meditation on this matter every discerning mind can see through our line of thought that Nnamdi Kanu is right in calling Nigeria a zoo. Moreover, a zoo is defined as “an establishment which maintains a collective of wild animals, typically in a park or gardens, for study, conservation or display to the public”. The above definition has shown that wild animals are kept in a zoo or park against their will and away from their natural habitations, and they can escape at any slightest opportunity and never come back. On the contrary a domestic animal is a willing slave to the owner, which in most part moves freely and comes back voluntarily to the owner’s house.

In the above allegory of a zoo, it became crystal clear that Britain intentionally and forcefully amalgamated together over two hundred ethnic nationalities of different cultures, religion, value systems and languages, against their will and away from their natural habitations, in the guise to form a united country. But Nigeria was fraudulent from inception and therefore has failed to work, even after one century of trial and error. This has resulted in the incessant political and religious turmoil, terrorism, genocide, slavery and servitude that claimed the lives of millions of Biafrans and other ethnic groups that made up Nigeria since 1945. But as unscrupulous merchants, the colonial masters and their willing domestic slaves couldn’t care less than focus on their ulterior motives in the exploitation and pillaging of the natural resources in Biafraland, while the indigenous people are strategically kept in darkness and forcefully confined in the zoo against their will. But after many years of agonizing life in the zoo republic, the people continued crying and petitioning their God in prayer for his divine intervention. And he has now answered them by sending the man Nnamdi Kanu to rescue his people from perpetual bondage and lead them back to their ancient inheritance.

As someone on a divine mission, Nnamdi Kanu did not come with any army or ammunition but with a very simple weapon which is TRUTH. He began by pointing to the holy Bible, where the Saviour told his followers in the book of John 8 verse 32 that “you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free”. And having preached the gospel of truth to his people in the zoo and in the Diaspora, some unprecedented signs began to appear in heaven as a confirmation of his heavenly calling, and suddenly, those in darkness began to see the light, the lame leaped for joy, shackles fell of the feet of those in bondage, hope was given to the hopeless, and for the first time in decades the (demonized) word BIAFRA is being preached from the lips of men, women and children. Newspapers cannot sell unless they carry the news about Biafra, the social media is now flooded with discussions on the issue of Biafra, both national and international radio and TV stations are daily carrying news about Biafra. The result of this heaven ordained message by the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) is that Biafrans are being recognized in over one hundred countries around the world.

The wild animals that have been in confinement in the zoo republic are rising in protest against injustice, exploitation, marginalization, dichotomy, subtle islamization, discrimination, acute corruption and state sponsored genocide against the indigenous people. The wind of revolution is blowing everywhere, and the domestic animal-slaves are running from pillar to post, because Nnamdi Kanu has handed over power to the people and the zoo government is in mortal panic. But there is nothing anybody can do to save the zoo from imminent wave of disintegration, because it is an evil enclave founded on lies and deceit. Therefore, the wild animals are on the loose and are demanding for the right to go back to their natural habitation, so that they may take their destinies back into their own hands. And the only peaceful way to resolve this issue is to allow every amalgamating ethnic nationality in Nigeria to conduct a referendum and decide on whether to remain in the zoo or go back to their natural habitation and determine their own political, economic, religion and cultural future by themselves.

At this juncture, we want to make it abundantly clear to all those clamouring for restructuring of Nigeria that they can go ahead and do so, but without the people of Biafra, because millions of Biafran lives have been wasted for the sake of Biafra freedom, and nobody can restructure those lives back into existence. Moreover, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu did not spend almost two years in illegal detention for Nigeria to be restructured. We reiterate that Biafra restoration is a project that is ordained in heaven and it can therefore not be negotiated, or stopped by any mortal. The IPOB families around the world led by our supreme leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu are not wasting their precious time and resources for Nigeria to be restructured. All we need is total freedom attained through the avenue of a United Nations mandated and supervised referendum. But before then, we have vowed to continue in our civil disobedience in boycotting all subsequent political elections in the whole of Biafraland, beginning with the upcoming Anambra State gubernatorial election on the 18th of November 2017, because Nnamdi Kanu has permanently removed every trace of stupidity that beclouded the brain of our people and they have risen en masse to take what rightfully belongs to them, and that is freedom. No amount of killings, impersonation, harassment, bribery and imprisonment can stop us this time. It is either Biafra or death.

BIAFRA: IPOB REJECTS FG's CALL FOR KANU'S RE-ARREST, SAYS IT'S AN ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT

By Akubumma Princewill || For Biafra Writers

August 30, 2017

When injustice becomes the order of the day, resistance becomes a duty.
It is now therefore, the duty of every Biafran, young and old to rise up to the occasion and stop any assassination attempt being made by the government of Nigeria as directed by the northern cabals in the Aso Villa to illegally re-arrest our Supreme leader 'Onyendu' Mazi Nnamdi Kanu on the ground of his alleged flouting of the inhumane bail conditions levied against him.

If Nigeria is truly abiding by the rule of law, President Muhammadu Buhari should be first impeached and subsequently arrested for disobeying court orders of competent jurisdiction, in two different occasions, directing the release of Nnamdi Kanu unconditionally, which was presided over by Justice Adeniyi Ademola of the Federal High Court, Abuja in 2016.

It sounds quite funny hearing the President and his kinsmen calling for the re-arrest of the leader of IPOB on the ground of violating his bail conditions whereas he himself does not regard or obey unfavourable court verdicts in most cases.

This is considered by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and every right thinking human being, as a situation of kettle calling pot black which is unacceptable by the over 70 million Biafrans around the globe who are also the followers of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

Biafrans all over the world is hereby through this publication putting the world on notice that the idea or any illegal attempt by security agencies in Nigeria to illegally re-arrest their leader will be overwhelming resisted. Kanu has been going about peacefully propagating the gospel of the restoration of the sovereign state of Biafra, while the government chooses to shut its ears and eyes against those who has been spreading hateful and genocidal audio messages across the country calling for another genocide against the Igbos, to walk freely without any interruption.
As everyone can attest that the Nigerian government is sectional, tribalistic and is renowned for its double standard approach to burning national issues, yet it always gathered the effrontery to announce to the citizens that the unity of the forced union is not negotiable when it is quite obvious that there is no unity in the country.

Clearly, Nigeria is a country devoid of inclusiveness and fairness, a country where every sector is headed by the north irrespective of its ethnic and religious diversity, with the intent to keep manipulating things to suit the northerners to the detriment of other regions. This was seen in the recent move made by the northern Attorney General of the Federation (AGF), Abubakar Malami who was directed by the northern cabals to file a lawsuit at an Abuja High Court, demanding the re-arrest and revocation of the bail granted to the IPOB leader, while ignoring his kinsmen that issued a 90 days unconstitutional eviction notice to the Igbos living in the North.

A genocidal and inciting quit notice which according to law is tantamount to treasonable offence was swept under the carpet while the Federal government was pro-active and exhibited high-handedness in the treatment of IPOB and its leader.

Biafrans are forever determined to ensure that their freedom is gotten, therefore no amount of sabotage or intimidation on the part of the Nigerian government will make them to succumb. Their support to the Biafran project forever remains unflinching which no being can quell.

Biafra: Don’t Even Talk About Re-Arresting Nnamdi kanu Conduct PLEBISCITE To Enable Biafrans go -Chief Mbazulike Amaechi Warns Buhari

August 29th 2017

First Republic Minister of Aviation has charged the Federal Government to conduct a plebiscite to enable the Igbos decided if they want to be part of Nigeria or not.
He said it does not make any sense under the existing circumstances to threaten re-arresting the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.
Igbos, he said, are obviously tired of being part of the Nigerian federation and want to leave.
The former aviation boss was responding to question on the call for a restructuring of Nigeria and the threat by the Federal Government to crack down on Nnamdi kanu and IPOB.

He said: ”If I wake up and say, I would go and blow up Aso Rock, would I be arrested, or when I march to Aso Rock fully armed? Why the focus on Nnamdi Kanu, what of the other Arewa yoths who are committing similar or more grievous offences? What has been done to them? If Kanu breaks the law, let him be punished, not when he is unarmed and just making statement that his people are not being treated fairly. What Kanu is saying is that Igbo want to go, if you don’t agree with him, put it to plebiscite. That is how it has been done in other places. Scotland said it wanted to leave United Kingdom, and they put it to plebiscite, majority said they didn’t want to go away.

I don’t see why it should be different in Nigeria. Plebiscite does not amount to war.
In America, since Donald Trump came to power, two states have expressed the desire to quit US, has anybody killed them? The only thing is that when the demand becomes serious, the government will give the opportunity for the people to decide.

What has been done to the Arewa youth who said their leaders were the ones who asked them to issue the quit notice? Yes, we know who is sending them to do what they are doing, the politicians are behind them and we are not deceived. What of those behind the anti-Igbo songs, what has the government done to them? What efforts have the security agencies made to bring them to book?, he queried.

IPOB BERATES CLUELESS CHIEF PAUL UNONGO; NORTHERN ELDERS FORUM DECORATIVE HAPPY-SLAVE LEADER

We Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) worldwide under the command and leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu condemn in its entirety the statement credited to the clueless and uninformed Northern Elders Forum and their decorative happy-slave leader Chief Paul Unongo for daring to attack Ohaneze Ndigbo Chairman Chief John Nnia Nwodo for rising up in defence of the truth.

This truth is that IPOB leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has not committed any crime known to the laws of Nigeria to warrant his rearrest. If Nigeria ever had a case against our leader, why have the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) not commenced the trial since October 2015 when our leader was first arrested? Instead, the Arewa North thought they could intimidate this present Ohaneze Ndigbo as they did to previous executives, into allowing Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to be arrested. They miscalculated miserably because all ethnic nationalities in Nigeria today including some of the most ardent critics of our leader have conceded privately that IPOB has given enslaved ethnic nationalities in Nigeria the impetus to rise up and question their slave status. The Fulani/Arewa born to rule mentality has been broken by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. People are no longer intimidated by the disproportionate number of Arewa sons in the military and other armed forces who are in essence the foot soldiers of the Caliphate and not Nigeria.

The idea of wanting to use baseless trumped up charges to justify the extra judicial detention of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will be resisted by all men and women of good conscience. After all, it was Buhari himself that disobeyed court order after court order directing the unconditional release of our leader in 2015. If anyone deserves to be arrested, it is Buhari.

Paul Unongo and his caliphate handlers should also call for the arrest of the Director General of DSS and AGF for flagrant and serial disobedience to court orders. Whilst they are at it, they should not fail to add their beloved Arewa Youths, who actually committed the treasonable act of incitement to genocide, which is a far more serious crime than attempted coup d'etat. What Arewa Consultative Forum through their Arewa Youths did was nothing short of a call to mass murder and appropriation of properties that does not belong to them. Arewa Elders that incited the youths, provided them finance and logistics must also be arrested.

It's a pity that Chief Paul Unongo who appear not to know his roots have consistently failed to raise his voice against Fulani herdsmen slaughtering and raping their way through swathes of Benue land where he comes from. That he found the courage to challenge the stance of Ohaneze Ndigbo publicly confirms what we have always known, that he's suffering from what psychologists call the Stockholm syndrome. A man who could not rise in defence of his own people being slaughtered by the same Fulani cattle interest, shamelessly had the temerity to call for the arrest of the only person who had the guts to say no to Fulani herdsmen. Paul Unongo should in actual fact be grateful to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu for seeking to protect his people from Fulani annihilation and conquest.

We commend this act of Ohaneze Ndigbo for standing firm to demonstrate that they are different from past Ohaneze administrations. By refusing to be browbeaten by the mob mentality often deployed by the hegemonic Arewa North in times of crisis, they deserve our collective commendation. Fulani caliphate are not the owners of the constituent parts that make up the British contraption Nigeria and we IPOB are here to prove it to them.

The Fulani cabal that run the Nigerian Government are busy deploying instruments of governance to terrorise the masses into accepting the re-arrest of our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who committed no crime known to law. We promise Chief Paul Unongo and his collaborators in the Arewa North that Nigeria will never be the same after this encounter. Arewa North should concentrate on alleviating the long suffering poor masses of the core North and leave Biafra, IPOB and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu alone.

Kanu's re-arrest: IPOB condemns Northern Elders over attack on Ohanaeze, says present Ohanaeze can't be intimidated like others

By Chukwuemeka Chimerue | Biafra Writers

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has condemned in strong terms, the attack on the apex Igbo socio-cultural group, Ohanaeze Ndigbo by Northern Elders Forum, NEF, for resisting the call by the Federal government to revoke the bail and re-arrest the IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

The Chairman of the Northern Elders, Chief Paul Unongo, while reacting to the condemnation by the President of Ohanaeze, Chief John Nnia Nwodo, said the Igbo group was trivializing criminality for resisting the call for the re-arrest of the IPOB leader.

However, IPOB, in a statement released by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Comrade Emma Powerful, said that it was ill-conceivable on the part of the Northern Elders for believing that the present crop of leadership of the Pan Igbo group could be mowed into intimidation to submit to their whims and caprices like other previous leadership it has had.

IPOB added that having failed to release Nnamdi Kanu against the court order issued in 2015, the Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari and the Director-General of the Department of State Services,  DSS, Lawal Daura, should be the ones in detention, stressing that Kanu has not committed any offence against the law, which was the reason the Attorney General of the Federation is yet to commence a full blown trial into the trumped up charges against the IPOB leader.

BIAFRA: WHY WE MUST RESIST FURTHER OUT-OF-COURT ARREST OF MAZI NNAMDI KANU

By Russell Bluejack

Several lies have come to our notice due to frustration and fear. The handlers of this dying contraption called Nigeria, a gift parceled in 1914 and given to the North,  are sick and tired of the progress of the IPOB under the formidable and able leadership of Director Nnamdi Kanu.  Out of exasperation and fatalism, the clueless handlers of the misnomer called Nigeria have resorted to spinning lies and concocting stories in their bid to stem the tide of feasible and imminent SECESSION vide non-violent REFERENDUM.

Worried by the ever towering stature and popularity of the arrowhead of the reinvigorated and fantastically refined quest for the emancipation of Biafrans from the venomous grips of oppressive and abductive Nigeria,  Nnamdi Kanu,  the northernised Nigeria have begun a last-minute attempt to circumvent and,  possibly escape, the inevitable. To this end, BMC (Buhari's media) and other hirelings have been commissioned to see to it that the image of the man-god and superman,  Nnamdi Kanu, is dented. Lies are flying like paper kites in the polluted atmosphere that defines Nigeria.  It is also worrisome that half-baked cronies and stooges are the ones assigned this filthy contract, the reason these attempts are unsuccessful. Of course,  every reasonable occupant of this ersatz geographical enclave called Nigeria is unhappy and hopes to dump it.  That, however,  does not mean there are no conquered occupants - those who are contented with the crumbs that fall from the Hausa/Fulani table.

The first attempt made by the horrible FGN to depopularize Kanu was the politicisation of the struggle.  What they did was to concoct a statement allegedly credited to Mazi Kanu, wherein he purportedly agreed that he can engage himself in the murky waters of Nigeria's retrogressive and disjointed politics to actualize Biafra.  What a tactless attempt! Well,  as tactless and clearly obvious as that lie seems,  it was circulated and relied on as an instrument of destruction.  What Nigerians have failed to understand is that true members of IPOB know that Mazi Kanu would be risking his life,  that of his wife,  child, and entire generation should he betray.  He is under a very serious and dangerous Oath like many of us.  The Oath of Allegiance is a  covenant between us and Chukwuokikeabiama,  Tamuno,  Oghene,  Abasi,  Tamara - the Almighty God,  Creator of Heaven and Earth. Whoever goes outside the agreed modus operandi of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) does so at the risk of the annhilation of his generation.  Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will never betray!

But what politics were they even talking about? Does Nigeria have a functional politics? Okay,  you mean the politics that allows a sitting president to be AWOL for over the Constitutional proviso of 90 days without being impeached? Nigerians seem to forget that having breached the Armed Forces Ruling Council (military) document we call Constitution of Nigeria, Buhari has become a de facto (illegitimate) president.  The parliament,  having failed to carry out its oversight function,  has become anti-people and illegitimate, as well.  Those who still give their fillip to this non-populist occupants of Nigeria's Aso Rock are under a spell.  Nigeria,  under the misadministration of this clueless lot,  is speedily heading for Golgotha.  No amount of fasting, restructuring, and optimism will suffice to remedy the inevitable collapse of this expired fabrication.

In furtherance of their frustration, the bad handlers of Nigeria have decided to ventilate their anger on the man of the moment,  Nnamdi Kanu,  by unlawfully avowing that his bail must be "revoked". This is another manifestation of the intellectual incapacity of these misadventurers. Any democracy peopled by hare-brained handlers is, at best,  DEMOCRATISATION OF FOOLERY.  A democracy that is "of lootocrats,  by religious bigots, but for the gullible" is a ticket to economic recession. Why would they be thinking of "revoking" Kanu's bail? Was he bailed outside the Court? If he was bailed in the Court (which is the case here), then the argument for a review of his bail must take place in Court.  Is someone thinking? They want him to be re-arrested, but in order to do that they have to argue against his bail in Court.  The power to re-arrest Kanu is beyond FGN, except they have fresh charges against him. This government has dragged the image of the judicial arm into the mud, and the time for the dented Temple of Justice to extricate itself from the mess is now.

The IPOB worldwide, the international community that have remained distant to our calls for intervention,  and every well-meaning and conscious occupant of Nigeria must wake up and keep watchful eyes on the looming danger.  Any attempt to unlawfully re-arrest Nnamdi Kanu is bound to meet with a fatal resistance.  The international community should wake up from their docility and prevail on the handlers of Nigeria. The right to self determinism is the brainchild of international laws,  laws that are superior to Nigeria's laws,  since Nigeria is herself a member.  His Excellency,  Donald Trump, POTUS,  should not forget the role played by Biafrans worldwide towards his success at the polls.  Majority of the blacks that voted for Trump are Biafrans of the Igbo stock,  the reason they celebrated his victory in Nigeria - for which over 11 of them were chased and killed.

I am aware that the Chief of Army Staff,  Yusuf Buratai and others are standing trial in a US district Court for the brutal murder of unarmed Biafra protesters, but I think Trump of the US and Putin of Russia need to do more as leaders of First World Nations. Biafrans are captives in this oppressive enclave called Nigeria.  It is their right to seek self-governance through peaceful means.  This attempt to recapture the Leader of IPOB by Nigeria should be globally condemned.  The world should not tolerate another apartheid and Nazist operation in the 21st century,  save we have not truly progressed.  True global economic progress goes beyond mere application of scientific knowledge.  If the administration of global issues by the powers that be is not up-to-date, then no meaningful progress has been made.  Response to oppression and tormentation calls should be swift and unencumbered.  This global response should be as fast as the 21 century scientific inventions.

The international community must arise to the occasion. We are beginning to feel that there is no functional basis for World Power and international associations .  We urge the UN,  ECOWAS,  and AU to prove us all wrong.  The UN should prove to us that we are truly part of the international unity project.  What concerns the welfare of the occupants of Nigeria should be of serious concern to the world.  All Biafrans need is referendum, not war.  The incomprehensible silence of the international community is the real cause of the killings in Nigeria.  A timeous intervention is golden in this situation. The life of the peace-loving Nnamdi Kanu,  the Director of IPOB worldwide, is in the hand of the international community.  We will not fail to go to the ICC in the Hague to seek redress should any harm befall our hero.  Biafrans are watching for signs of international conspiracy.  What happened in the Civil War is still fresh in our memory. We are sanguine that the international community exist to protect the rights of people all over the world.  Thanks and God bless. Biafra: Arewa Suspended "Quit Notice" Is Political; Come Back Home Before October 1

Press Release:

August 25, 2017

It's inconsequential to IPOB whether the 'quit notice' rescinded or not because it will in no way impact the pace and direction of our effort to restore Biafra. We urge all southerners in the core North to return home before October 1 as history will most definitely repeat itself.

Southerners were massacred in the pogroms of 1966 and 1967 after similar assurances were issued then that people should remain in the North. The presence of a serving governor and senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria during the supposed press briefing confirms what we have always known that the incitement to genocide which is what then 'quit notice' is all about, has the blessing of the Arewa political class.

It betrays the mindset of those clamouring for One Nigeria as irredeemable blood thirsty psychopaths shielded hiding behind ethnic bigotry to unleash what will amount to the 15 mass murder of non indigenes resident in core Arewa North. If President Buhari is at all serious about clamping down on hate speech, he should arrest those behind the 'quit notice' along with their sponsors.

Trying to drag the name of our revered leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu into their unintelligent blood fest will be resisted. If the idea is to cower our leader with calls for his arrest, then those behind the genocidal edict of Igbos must leave the North are even more dumb than we thought. Nigeria is crumbling today before our eyes due to the arrest of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, those wishing for him to be arrested again is basically signing the death warrant of Nigeria.

Our quest to restore Biafra is unstoppable and the sooner the Islamic Arewa North knows this, the better for everyone. If Nigeria has any case against Nnamdi Kanu they should present it before the law courts not recruiting barely literate street urchins to issue a threat of mass extermination of Igbos living in the North. We are not afraid of the fabled Fulani hegemonic juggernaut that has literally steamrolled every other ethnicity in Nigeria into submission because we are Biafrans. Threats don't have any effect on us, so our advice to Arewa North is to please stick to the October 1 deadline or else they have no honour.

Biafra: Buhari Commanding Nigerian Army To Kill Biafra Security Service Is A Hight Of Double Standard- See Pictures of Hisbah, Sharia Police

August 24, 2017

The leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has said that he set up the Biafra Security Service so as to provide security for Biafrans people.

Kanu, who spoke yesterday shortly after his visit to Senator Enyinna Abaribe, said the federal government had failed to protect the people.

He said Fulani herdsmen has been killing Biafra people while the police failed to address the issue.

He said:

“I will not do anything that will bring dishonour to my people. There is no reason for people to be afraid of the internal operation of IPOB.

“We want to stop the menace of Fulani herdsmen in our land. In the north, they have the Hisbah police, they have the Sharia police. They even have the Janjaweed police. Here, we have nothing.

“We need to protect this very land. We want to protect the Fulani men from rustling.

“The police have done nothing. Fulani herdsmen are operating everywhere.

“President Buhari spoke; he never mentioned the menace of Fulani herdsmen. His interest was Biafra agitation. It doesn’t work for me. I am a Biafran.”

Radio Biafra Further took to their facebook page to cry out;

The Nigerian government has continued her double standard on issues of national discourse. Passionate hatred and gross marginalization is when Hisbah sharia police is operational in Northern Nigeria while Southern Nigeria is left at the mercy of Fulani herdsmen.
Again, Hate and marginalization is when Hisbah sharia Police is fully operational in Northern Nigeria and there was no threat from Nigerian government to clamp them down but the emergence of Biafra Security Service (BSS) has been condemned from all quarters and the Nigerian government has called the DSS, Nevy, Army and Police to arrest, detain and even kill our people because a non-violent security outfit was established in the old Eastern region to protect our people.

When we talk they will tag it a hate speech, you cannot beat a child and tell him not to cry, we shall resist this intimidation with the last drop of our blood.

Biafra: Your Purported Agreement With Ojukwu Does Not Affect The Rest Of Us— Biafra Writers Slams Buhari

By Chukwuemeka Chimerue || For Biafra Writers

August 23, 2017

It was quite shameful and an act of arrogance that after spending over 100 days in a medical vacation at the United Kingdom, the Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari, would return to the country he has abandoned its duties, to preach about its forced unity in such a cruel and uninspiring manner.
It seems as though, the President was brought back to the country to restate his firm resolve in keeping her one even when the remnants of the country has been torn apart. He does not consider other things that should make up a nation is been put to place.

We wonder why the issue of whether the country will remain as one or not would form the center of his unsavoury speech, when other pressing national issues that requires optimum attention are being neglected by his government.

As a man as old as Buhari who after leaving his sick bed, should have reflected on the problems bedeviling the country and seeking for a genuine lasting solution to it, instead will prefer to threaten and/or intimidate the citizens of the country.

Taking an excerpt from his cruel and disrespectful speech, Buhari was quoted as saying thus, “In 2003 after I joined partisan politics, the late Chief Emeka Ojukwu came and stayed as my guest in my hometown, Daura. Over two days we discussed in great depth till late into the night and analyzed the problems of Nigeria.

We both came to the conclusion that the country must remain one and united.
Nigeria's unity is settled and not negotiable.”
Reading through the above statement coming from a man who preaches change but would never allow change to take its course, one wonders under what terms, conditions, arrangements, capacities, treatments and structure did the duo arrived to the conclusion of the indivisibility and unity of Nigeria, because I know Dim Odimegwu Ojukwu was not that myopic?

One would also wonder why Buhari is revealing this to us now. The old senile Buhari that we know cannot even remember what he said and the conclusions he reached with people just last year let alone the conclusion of a discussion that purportedly held a couple of decades ago. I guess both of you equally concluded that after you finally won the Presidential election in 2015, you should give his people 5% treatment, order the Nigerian military apparatus to kill anyone agitating for Biafra, and the rest of them.

So because Buhari allegedly had a meeting with Ojukwu, thus Nigeria's unity is non-negotiable by millions of other citizens of the country? It is evident that he only came back home to deliver a hate speech towards Biafrans.

Did they have the agreement based on the fact that Buhari as a retired soldier, having no political office at the time, was the mantle holder for freedom? We wonder what he was trying to achieve by bringing Ojukwu into the matter. Does it mean that the unity of Nigeria is non-negotiable under the terms of Ojukwu and Buhari? Ojukwu is already confined to the annals of history. He does not feel recession, agitation, herdsmen killing, Boko Haram terrorism, hate speeches, quit notice, and so on, therefore whatever anyone would have had with him, has no direct impact on the rest of us. It should be noted that the decision or agreement of two individuals should not be binding nor determine the fate of other millions of people in the country.

Buhari's speech is not only divisive but also insensitive to the point that one may wonder what is so special or spectacular about Nigeria that they must force unity on its citizens without taking steps to address the many injustices in the system.

It would had even been much better that Buhari never brought Ojukwu into his parochial and narrow-minded rule that has seen different parts of the country trying to go their separate ways. If you were ruling according to the dreams of Ojukwu and many other Nigerians, perhaps we would not have arrived to the sorry state we found ourselves today in Nigeria.

Even if at that time, something was decided can't we change it? Is the destiny of today's generation tied to one man? After all after Buhari himself lost at the polls to former president Jonathan in 2011, he cried and declared not to contest again, but later changed his mind. Has many things not been changed since the past decades? The only constant thing in life is change which we must all learn to embrace.

Democracy is government of the people by the people and for the people. Not government of two individuals, the people's opinions and voices must be heard and taken into consideration. Ojukwu's opinion of 1967 or 2003 may no longer be tenable today, neither is 1970 technology and methods in use in this age. Today's issues must be driven with current innovation and ideas, that is why Biafra is in mix. Nigerians erred in employing a man without any capacity to adopt change as an option in a changing world.

The so-called agreement you reached with Ojukwu, cannot in all honesty, dictate the pace for the current generation wants to decide for themselves what they want. If all we see is continued marginalization, hatred, blind bigotry and slavish sycophancy, then perhaps it is time for something different. If not, in the near future, our great grand children will still be dealing with it. The new generation want a new lease of life and that is not available in Nigeria where a particular section of the country is perpetually favoured more than other regions.

Ojukwu was well quoted in many publications saying that the political and economic marginalization of the Igbos by Nigeria must stop, else Biafra may occur again. His wish for Nigeria was to learn from history so that the same mistakes are not repeated. So what is Buhari hoping to achieve by telling blatant white lies with Ojukwu's name?

Notwithstanding, people have been criticizing the IPOB, but the day they gain freedom from Nigeria, other regions will wish they also got the freedom. The process of a thing is sometimes foolish and hopeless but the end gives joy and fulfillment.

What is easily understood is that the locus of this signifies that the battle is at its final stage because Buhari's speech alone has autocratically energized those cow brains in the name of Arewa youths to execute their threat without doubt. He has just supported them. But last borns are never the last blood.

Therefore, Buhari still has enough time now to start considering the Referendum option as a means of bringing an end to many of the problems facing Nigeria. There is joy, happiness and self fulfillment in being a Biafran which nobody can feel and understand except the Biafrans. Biafra as a word, is intoxicating, their flag is intoxicating to Biafrans. You simply cannot suppress the passion under any guise whatsoever.

Biafra: The Ozubulu Attack Was An Act Of Terrorism

By Chikwas Onu Ikpe || For Biafra Writers

August 22, 2017

It has extended in space and time considering the Ozubulu massacre that engulfed our people barely fortnight ago.

Just about two hours following the gruesome incident, the Anambra State governor, Willie Obiano in cahoots with the State Police arrived the scene, and incidentally reported it as a result of the vengefulness of bitter feud between rival drug dealers. That has left every sane mind cogitating, whether or not it is an Internecine feud or a terrorist attack.
Biafra Writers have been lying protracted, in scrutiny, to unravelling what transpired over the bloodbath.

The speciousness of labelling that onslaught a drug war cannot be swept under the carpet. Obiano exonerated himself from queries that should have followed the atrocious crime that supervened under his watch; in addition, suborned the State Police, thus terming the mayhem a drug war that emanated from South Africa.

At this juncture, Biafra Writers make bold to say that Governor Willie Obiano and the State Police resorted to playing tricks so as to mitigate the flagitious crime unleashed against his own people.
Before I proceed, I urge you to painstakingly masticate and digest these rhetorical questions and analysis:

• When did the efficacy of Nigeria police augmented to consummating a forensic test within two hours?

• Following the disavowal publicized by Bishop who is the person claimed to be involved in the drug war, is there any corroborative evidence that lends credence to the claim that it was actually caused by feuding drug barons?

• How about the killing that ensued after the Ozubulu massacre, on August 13, 2017 in Assemblies of God Church, Oguta, Anambra State? In a house of worship too. Is that one a drug war from South Korea?

An explored information from an intelligence agent has it that the attack in Ozubulu is not a drug war as was erroneously reported by the Anambra State governor, Willie Obiano. Obiano thought his re-election ambition could be in jeopardy if he let the masses know it was a terrorist attack, hence, he connived with the State Commissioner of Police, CP Garbar Baba Umar - an Hausa man, to issue an already prepared report (without investigation) in order to counter the suspicions of the awful circumstance to being a terrorist attack.

The intelligence agent said that the attack was engineered by the Hausa-Fulani as a revenge over the destruction of Dangote's facilities in Onitsha, Anambra State.

According to the Intel, "Sometime in July 2017, Police officers blockaded the road - just in front of Dangote's office in Onitsha - to extort money from motorists plying the road. Accidentally, a trailer lost control and ran over a pregnant woman and her children; and they died at the spot.
"The Police officers took to their heels as belligerent youths ran after them. When the youths could not get hold of those Police officers, as they had taken refuge at Dangote's office; they went wild, rampaging the facilities and properties owned by Dangote. The Hausa-Fulani got infuriated by the violent disorder, then they organised a revenge that activated the Ozubulu killing.

"The attackers were selected from one of the organised jihadist camps in Ebonyi State. They are also planning to continue this attack in many strategic locations in Biafra land and their targets are in phases. To mention a few, in the list are - Ogbete main market, Enugu, Aba, and Owerri."

The Intel also revealed series of secret meetings of Obiano in alliance with the Obi of Onitsha [Igwe Achebe], plotting to re-arrest Mazi Nnamdi Kanu because of the 'NO REFERENDUM, NO ELECTION' campaign which is a peril to their evil manipulation against our people. And also a call to the Nigeria government to send in more Hausa-Fulani allied forces to besiege Biafra land.

At this point, being the crux of the matter, we enjoin all Biafrans to be circumspect in all their conducts. Take responsibilities of all security measures at length to ensuring the safety of everyone of us. Prevailingly, we call upon the management of public institutions and firms [Schools, Churches, Market place, et cetera] in Biafraland to install security measures in order to curb the heinous crimes that have infiltrated our land.

WE CANNOT RUN AWAY FROM OUR OWN LAND. BE PROACTIVE!

BIAFRA: IPOB PRESS STATEMENT; ADDRESSING MUHAMMADU BUHARI'S 3 MINUTES ROBOTIC BROADCAST

August 22, 2017

We the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and it's leadership worldwide under the command and leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu the prophet of our time, wish to bring to the attention of Nigerians and the world at large, the unfounded statement credited to the Nigeria president Major General Muhammdu Buhari during his latest comical nationwide broadcast about discussions he had with the late Biafran leader General Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu in 2003 at his home town in Daura Katsina State Nigeria about Nigeria remaining one.

Major General Muhammadu Buhari claimed in his robotic 3 minute broadcast that the late Biafran General and war leader Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu gave him assurances that Nigeria must remain one indivisible entity. In Buhari's view, his unverified, unsubstantiable discussions with Ojukwu in his Daura village means that we Indigenous People of Biafra cannot demand for our inalienable right under the principles of self determination in order to seek our exit from the fraudulent British manufactured colony we know today as Nigeria. Interestingly enough, there is a well circulated video of President Buhari addressing the 70th of the United Nations General Assembly in New York where he stated unequivocally that no nation, no matter how small, can be denied the right to self determination. Buhari in his characteristic hypocrisy failed to mention the fact that he is a staunch campaigner for self determination for Palestine and Western Sahara. This same Buhari is the major financier and backer of Western Sahara campaign to break away from Morocco.

The question that must be answered is why is it possible for Buhari to champion the cause of self determination for Muslims in Israel and Morocco but not so for Biafrans who are Judeo-Christians in the British created Nigeria? During his uninspiring nationwide broadcast littered with dictatorial proclamations, the only take away point in the entire turgid show of shame is that Nigeria must remain one. Primarily because the dominant corrupt Hausa-Fulani Islamic cabal which he represents, do not want to lose their stranglehold on the finances of Nigeria. His hypocritical threat to deal with IPOB members who are legitimately going about their self determination efforts without recourse to arms, is indicative of his natural hatred towards Christians and indigenous ethnicities that make up Biafra. It is unfortunate that some people in this mere geographical expression called Nigeria are yet to understand that Biafra is an issue that is bigger than any man.

We find it laughable that Major General Muhammadu Buhari will embark on the futile journey of deceiving the general public about his brief encounter with Ojukwu in 2003.

President Muhammadu Buhari and other government functionaries, especially politicians, should stop deceiving themselves about the true nature of the raging Biafra agitation because they cannot provide any incontrovertible proof or verifiable evidence where the agreement was made between Buhari and Chief Emeka Ojukwu to keep Nigeria one.

The current Biafra restoration project piloted by IPOB is unstoppable.

Biafra: Our Fight For Freedom; A Sure Way To The Emancipation Of Our Generation

By Ejike Ofoegbu || For Biafra Writers

August 21, 2017

In 1963, the world watched as more than 2, 000, 000 people from different walks of life marched on Washington, D.C., in solidarity, against the killing and economic injustices limiting the freedoms of countless Biafrans.

Those patriots sought justice and freedom to govern themselves— not only for persons of colour, but for anyone who felt the weight of poverty, underfunded education or government-sanctioned discrimination in services or at the ballot box. Justice for those who saw civil rights accorded to some and brutally stripped from other Biafrans.

Today marks the 53rd anniversary of that historic march to freedom of Biafrans. We must not only celebrate the beauty and power of unity that our forefathers fought with, but also the importance of continuing the fight for social justice and economic opportunity for all of us. I am proud that Nnamdi Kanu is part of this fight, but we cannot do it without your help.

I had the extraordinary honour to join the fight for the freedom of Biafran as a youth speaker. Then, still now, I understood that civil rights is a political struggle. Whether one wants to be a state legislator or the President of Biafra, all Biafrans must be called to account for the part we play in defending our nation’s commitment to the most vulnerable among us — regardless of race, class, or religion.

We cannot afford to allow those who send us backwards, killed us and our loved ones to hold power. And we must continue to mold for ourselves and future generations a nation that refuses to be corrupted by hatred, segregation, and bigotry— ever again.

When Biafra is restored, let’s make sure that we elect leaders up and down the ballot who hold these truths to be self-evident and who reject the convenience of self-gain over the struggle for equality for all.

Biafra: Tackle Hate Actions, Partisan Politics That Inspire Hate Speeches— Elliot Uko Tells Osibanjo

By Chukwuemeka Chimerue || For Biafra Writers

August 21, 2017

Founder of the Igbo Youth Movement and Secretary of the Eastern Consultative Assembly, Evangelist Elliot Ugochukwu-Uko, following the condemnation of hate speeches by Acting President Yemi Osinbajo, has said that actions that inspire hate speeches such as the unholy activities of Fulani herdsmen and the threat to lives and properties of other citizens of the country, must also be addressed, so as to restore sanity in the country.

Uko who commended Osinbajo for his stance against hate speeches, stated that hate actions is far more dangerous than hate verbalized speeches as it is capable of plunging the country into crisis if not nipped to the bud.

Uko also noted that addressing the issues of hate speeches, without taming hate actions and suspicious partisanship on the side of government, would only amount to insincerity and negligence on the part of government.

According to him, “We support the acting President on this. However, hate actions that inspire hate speeches, must also be tamed in order to restore sanity in the land.
“Hate actions, such as the brigandage and savagery of herdsmen, the threat to lives and properties of compatriots’ resident in the north, only makes it easier for hatred to dwell and fester in our hearts, regardless whether the indwelling hatred is verbalized or not. Indwelling hatred is as potent as, if not more dangerous than verbalized hate speeches.

Read Also: BIAFRA: TIME TO EXIT THE DAN FODIO ESTATE

“Destroying people farms with uninvited cattle, and resorting to raping and beheading the villagers when they complain, clearly inspires anger and resentment, which graduates into bitterness and burning desire for separation and secession, especially when the marauding herdsmen never gets prosecuted.

“Again, mindlessly defending and protecting antagonists from one’s region, also inspires distrust and suspicions, which leads to disrespect for the government. A good example of regrettable faux pax on the part of government happened last week, when a top government official suddenly reduced himself to spokesperson of the attention- seeking rabble rousers who issued quit notice to easterners resident in the north with a subtle threat to harm them and their properties at the expiration of the ultimatum.
“To the utter shock of Nigerians, this top government official suddenly claimed the adult-youths were misquoted. To the horror of the general public, these quit notice givers have since given more interviews since the statement by this top official without corroborating his strange defense. They have spoken publicly in the media over a dozen times, not once did they claim they were misquoted. Where they misquoted in the sense that they did not actually issue the quit notice? Where they misquoted that the viral videos of their press conference was cloned? How exactly where they misquoted? When top government officials embarrass both themselves and the government of the day by publicly taking sides with agents of destruction, it makes it very difficult for citizens to trust, let alone respect government.

“These intervention and partial positions by government inspires doubts, suspicions and resentments which breed hatred and bitterness in the land.
“Addressing the issues of hate speeches, without taming hate actions and suspicious partisanship on the side of government, might not save the ongoing slide to mayhem, which is principally inspired by those who are afraid of restructuring Nigeria.

“Which actually bring us to the real meat of the matter. Even primary school children are aware that the current tension in the country is only festering and growing, because some people are opposed to saving Nigeria through a peaceful restructuring of the polity from the unwieldy unitary format to a functional fiscal federalism and regional structure.

“Everybody knows Nigerian is not working and will never work well if we do not restructure. Everybody knows that those opposing restructuring are the ones inspiring the agitations for secession, as the oppressed masses who bear the brunt of the inequalities and iniquities of this dysfunctional and unitary Nigeria will continue to agitate until justice and equity is enthroned through a restructuring of the polity along the lines of true fiscal federalism and regional autonomy, thereby opening up the country to real growth and development by creating a level playing field for all and also giving all sections a sense of belonging.

“There are no hate speeches in Ghana, because injustice and oppression are not part of the cultural, social and political life of Ghana, unlike Nigeria where some people believe they are born to rule others perpetually.

“The entire security architecture in Ghana is not dominated by one region while another region is deliberately excluded. Hate actions, such as deliberate exclusion of a section inspires fears and bitterness which in turn leads to desires to secede on the part of the oppressed regions. It is difficult to address hate speeches without addressing the hate actions that inspires hate speeches.
“Our country is crawling like a rickety vehicle simply because we refuse to restructure and save Nigeria, while there is still time.

Read Also: BIAFRA: RESTRUCTURING, AN EXPRESSWAY TO A FUTURE GENOCIDE— AN OPEN LETTER TO SEN. IKE EKWEREMADU

“Hunger, anger, mistrust, bitterness, loss of faith and desire to secede which rule the land today can only be solved through a peaceful, consensual restructuring of the polity and reconstruction of Nigeria by giving ourselves a new people’s constitution.

“Those opposing restructuring are erroneously of the view that threatening to attack, kill, destroy and seize properties of easterners domiciled in northern Nigeria by issuing them quit notices, spreading hate messages through social media and composing genocides songs will starve off the quest to restructure Nigeria. Truth is: Nigeria will die if Nigeria is not consensually redesigned into a truly federal entity, where fiscal federalism and regional autonomy reigns. No amount of quit notices and hate songs will save this unworkable unitary Nigeria.

“Beautiful speeches condemning hate speeches will not achieve much as long as hate actions and deep seated desires to oppress and dominate others thrives in our hearts.
“Alhaji Maitama Sule, the great patriot and statesman was right when he advised somebody to wit: “Only equity and justice guarantees peace and stability, nothing else.

Mr. Acting president should dutifully consult with his boss and set up an eminent elders committee that would set the stage for a constituent assembly that will design a new peoples constitution, that will be affirmed at a referendum. A new constitution modeled after 1963 republican constitution.
“Only an early return to fiscal federalism and regional autonomy can save Nigeria now. Hate speeches which was promoted by the political class during the 2015 election campaign season has grown into a cancer that can only be solved through an early restructuring of the polity.

“In conclusion, the childish ploy by those opposing restructuring, to blackmail easterners resident in the north by threatening their lives and properties through quit notices and hate songs in order to stop the quest to restructure Nigeria, is both childish and dangerous. Their hope and belief that a repeat of the 1966 pogrom will leave their region habitable after the attack on easterners, shows a clear lack of true perceptions of realities. Nigeria must be restructured or Nigeria will die.

“Meanwhile, nobody from the east is interested in continuous participation in activities of this unitary Nigeria, including voting in elections. We have completely lost interest in Unitary Nigeria.”

BIAFRA: YET THEY WANT OUR VOTES

By Victoria. O. C. Agangan | Biafra Writers

August 21, 2017

We are raped and killed in our land by strangers, we are run over in our fields, and our resources are taken over while poverty has taken over us, yet nothing has been done about it all.

Silence at an alarming rate embraces the sacrifices of human souls by various killers in and out of our regions, but the so-called leaders turned deaf ears and eyes blinded by greed and selfish interests. Yet they want us to vote for them.

In and out of our vicinities, securities have slipped away and we are daily threatened at all places, our freedom is highly shaken by forceful intimidations and these desperate political hawkers care less for our needs as they deliberately press to counter reactions emanating from years of deprivations and suppressions.

All they care about is those seat of power which has empowered them to perpetrate impunity, to give them comforts and access to tax payers purses while the masses remains the victims of unfortunate events and unfavorable situations, yet they woo us to vote for them.

If I may ask what have the masses ever gained by voting for these crooks whose throat thirst for innocent blood? Who looks away while their people languish in penury and are murdered on a regular basis, even on holy grounds? Why should we vote for those who sanction the killings of our people without a reason?

Of what use are these votes to us when it is only for the sects that make us suffer? Who have they helped to become a personality? Who have they established businesses for? How many tears have they wiped from the weeping eyes? How many smiles have they restored to ailing hearts? My people, tell me!

How many of us still need these thieves, who are ready to enslave us more for personal needs and trade us to be murdered at will? What promises do you still want that has never been made to you in the past and were never fulfilled?

A word is enough for the wise.
Avoid all elections in Biafra land!
Get back your voices!
Get back your rights!

All we need is a country with progress and programs that project our needs.
All hail Biafra!
