CATALOGUE OF JOHN TSOHO'S FAILURES THUS FAR

 BIAFRA:
CATALOGUE OF JOHN TSOHO'S FAILURES THUS FAR

It is unbelievable that justice can be reverted to favour some people. This norm is disheartening and it has rooted deep in the Nigerian judicial system. A critical observation and concerns are the abnormal rulings of the honorable justice of the Federal republic of Nigeria in the person of John Tsoho.

This man was squeezed out by the Nigerian government to preside over the illegal cases against Nnamdi Kanu. This self-acclaimed legal practitioner/judge publicly showed his vehement desire never to grant Nnamdi Kanu his right of freedom even though previous judges in charge of this high-profile case had acquitted and freed him on two different occasions. It is as well noteworthy
that when Nnamdi Kanu was abducted by DSS (Department of States Services) in Lagos on October 14th, 2015. The Nigerian government refused to charge him to court on the basis which is factual that they will be found wanting in the court of law as they lack evidence to support their nefarious and mischievous allegations against him.

When the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) worldwide raised an alarm and protested against the felonious abduction of the worldwide leader of IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, the DSS swiftly arraigned him to the court after he had been held with total deprivation of all rights as a citizen. Several fictitious and frivolous charges were made against him. But because he is innocent, integrity and trustworthiness will always vindicate the accused regardless of the extent of accusations.

The first judge that presided over the case of Nnamdi Kanu ordered for his immediate release. The court's verdict was not obeyed by the DSS then followed a second judge who saw no guilt against the accused. He acquitted him as well and as the same DSS proved again that his verdict will not be obeyed, the good man simply did the most honorable thing by excusing himself from the case.

In every civilized nation, the despisal and disobedience to court's rulings and orders are regarded as tyrannical acts. Such is against the stipulation of democracy of which Nigeria claims to adhere . Nigeria through John Tsoho does not seem to respect the rulings of a respected court of law that found Nnamdi Kanu innocent and acquitted him. Instead, the Nigerian authority rebelled and disrespected its own law by the continuous detention of Nnamdi Kanu.

Furthermore, the president of Nigeria stampeded all court rulings and dared that Nnamdi Kanu will never be released under his watch. This declaration by the president produced John Tsoho in January 2016 who is competent and qualified for his brutes. Buhari and his gang of killers; the DSS continued the illegal detention and torture of Nnamdi Kanu while scampering for proofs and witnesses to testify against him.

In one of his judgments, the prosecuting counsels sought to secretly try Nnamdi Kanu and also present masquerades as witnesses. Reason being that they wanted to shield the identities of witnesses. Such prayers by the prosecutor were declined by John Tsoho. He made it known that what the prosecutors wanted is totally unlawful. He thence vowed by law to both the defendants and prosecutors respectively to grant Nnamdi Kanu a public trial. Today, the public is very disappointed with Judge Tsoho who has thus connived with the prosecutor to secretly try Nnamdi Kanu and allowed masquerades as witnesses in this trial.

Meanwhile, this is still the same judge who had pledged that the trial will be in the open court. On April 5th, the public was barred from attending the court hearing with the exception of few journalists that were permitted to cover the proceedings. This was against the previous ruling of free and fair public trial.

In continuation of the self-reversal of his own rulings, Judge Tsoho allowed a notorious DSS lawyer, one Mr. Idakwo who was previously barred from appearing or representing the prosecuting counsel to aid the lead prosecutor; Mohamed Labara. The DSS is now officially the arresting, detaining, interrogating, investigating and prosecuting agency. It is a disservice to the office of the Attorney General of Nigeria whose under its watch, the Director of Public Prosecution is ridiculing the judiciary and the judicial system of Nigeria. There is nowhere in a civilised nation that such levels of criminal absurdity in the dispensation of justice is obtainable. Therefore, it is noteworthy that the same DSS is the agency barring the public from entering the courtroom. An action that contravenes the ruling of this same judge; John Tsoho.

It begs to ask, how many times will John Tsoho turn against his own ruling in his own court after his oath in the court to the public that he will remain steadfast and impartial in offering a fair judgement? This poor man has made so many mistakes in his quest to please his bribe master Buhari that chose him for this hatchet job. His inconsistencies and inability as a judge have seen him make a public mockery of himself.

A confused John Tsoho now locomotes from one calamitous mistake to another. Being ashamed of his glaring erroneous judgements, Tsoho has thus proven to the world that he is bias and incapable of handling this illegal case by the Nigerian state against Nnamdi Kanu. Now is the time for him to save his career, wash his hands off from this case and followed the steps of previous judges that found Nnamdi Kanu innocent.
