JUSTICE JOHN TSOHO: ACTING THE SCRIPT OF HIS PAY MASTER BUHARI
The travesty of justice today March 7, 2016 by Justice John Tsoho on the case between Nnamdi Kanu the leader of the indigenous people of Biafra Director of radio Biafra and Biafra TV and Federal government of Nigeria is an indication that Nigerian judiciary has been finally sold out to tyrant Muhammadu Buhari, for God know how much. I am not surprised that justice has been perverse today, because I have never had confidence in Justice John Tsoho from the day he accepted to work for Muhammadu Buhari. Justice Tsoho is a chameleon.
It will be recalled that on 19th Feb. 2016 Justice John Tsoho ruled against the plea of Nigerian government to produce a masked witness to testify against Nnamdi Kanu, in a secret trial. We knew he was playing games and so we were not excited by his ruling on that day. And we stated it categorically that he should not think that he has calmed the nerves of Biafrans and also made him understand that Biafrans are still expecting the needful to be done. Today, Justice John Tsoho has proven to the world that he is acting the script written to him by his pay master Hitler Buhari, by ruling against demeanor which he has previously ruled on 19th Feb 2016, which means reversing himself. To worsen the matter, there was no fresh appeal by the prosecuting councel on this matter but Justice John Tsoho entertained it. This is against rules of court proceedings. Justice Tsoho has shot himself on the leg. What a woe to Nigerian judiciary.
It is unlawful to entertain a screen witness against an accused person under common law, which happens to be the kind of law prevalent in Nigeria, but Justice Tsoho ruled that it will be used to try Nnamdi Kanu. This is a mockery to the judiciary and we expect the attorney general of Nigeria to exonerate himself from it by publicly condemning this unjust act by Justice Tsoho.
We hereby call on all Nigerians and people of goodwill to stand up and resist this act of injustice, because once screen witness is allowed to be used against Nnamdi Kanu, it will become a norm, and if it is Nnamdi Kanu today, it can be me or you tomorrow.
We must not forget in a hurry that Muhammadu Buhari had already clearly stated his stand on Nnamdi Kanu and he is doing everything possible to achieve it using Justice John Tsoho as a tool. The judiciary must redeem its image by striping Justice John Tsoho for sabotaging and disgracing the Judiciary before the world. The Nigeria Bar association should see this as a very bad precedence and must be resisted
