IPOB MGBOM FAMILY ZONE IN AFIKPO NORTH LGA, HOLDS HER FIRST GENERAL MEETING IN 2020

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) family zone in Mgbom, Afikpo North local government area of Ebonyi State, held her first general meeting for the new year on Sunday 5th January 2020. Physically in attendance were the Afikpo North local government area coordinator, Mazi Okechukwu Okpara, indigenes who visited home on Christmas holiday, amongst others. The local government coordinator in his address, urged the waring factions to shealth their swords and amicably work together in love and unity as brethren for the freedom and progress of all. He strongly warned against acts that are harmful to the laid down rules and regulations of IPOB, stressing that the command and control policy of the organization must have to be obeyed to the letter at all times. Mazi Okechukwu Okpara maintained that not even him as the local government coordinator is exempted from obeying the law. He frowned against members who work against the orders of IPOB leadership, pointing out that such individuals can only be treated as enemies of Biafra.

An Igweocha based indigenous family member, Mazi Nnabugwu Okpani in his reaction, explained that he was meeting with his brethren after a long while at home and pleaded for discipline and resoluteness in their pursuit for the restoration of the sovereign nation of Biafra. He equally reminded them of the consequences of placing personal gains over and against that of their fatherland. Mazi Nnabugwu Okpani reminded all that in what they do, the spirit of Biafran fallen heroes/heroines were closely watching.

Mazi Omeriagu who succeeded the newly appointed Senatorial Mobilization Officer as the zonal coordinator, in his speech, thanked everyone for making the day's gathering a successful experience, particularly the IPOB indigenous family brethren who came on Christmas break from other places of abode. He really appreciated their contributions for the welfare of all, praying that their diverse labors of love will never ever go unrewarded. Mazi Omeriagu also called on the entire Afikpo indigenes to come out in their numbers and get duly enlisted in the struggle as ably being piloted by the IPOB leader himself, Mazi Nnamdi Okwu-Kanu for the betterment of all as well as the upcoming Biafra generations.

Closing prayer was said by the family zonal Secretary, Mazi Oko Obinna.
