We, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), have been watching events going on In the Lugardian contraption called Nigeria, since the AREWA youths issued a quit notice ultimatum to Biafrans residing in northern Nigeria generally referred as Igbos.
Recall that the AREWA youths in what they called KADUNA DECLARATION had on Tuesday 6 June 2017 issued a quit notice to Igbos living in the northern Nigeria, demanding that Igbos should leave all the northern Nigeria states on or before October 1, 2017.
Part of the statement read thus: “With the effective date of this declaration, which is today, Tuesday, June 06, 2017, all Igbos currently residing in any part of Northern Nigeria are hereby served notice to relocate within three months and all northerners residing in the East are advised likewise.

“We are hereby placing the Nigerian authorities and the entire nation on notice that as from the 1st October 2017, we shall commence the implementation of visible actions to prove to the whole world that we are no longer part of any federal union that should do with the Igbos. From that date, effective, peaceful and safe mop-up of all the remnants of the stubborn Igbos that neglect to heed this quit notice shall commence to finally eject them from every part of the North”.
We have carefully studied the content of the “Kaduna Declaration” and come to a conclusion that the AREWA youths and the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) are pursuing a common goal in this context which is “separation from the unworkable union known as Nigeria” While Biafrans seeks their self-determination under the rule of law as enshrined in the United Nations charter which Nigeria is a signatory, the AREWA youth of Northern Nigeria are busy beating the drums of war and issuing threats of forceful ejection of Biafrans living in their region. It is now clear to the world that the center of the contraption called Nigeria can no longer hold.
We are therefore taking seriously every single word written on the “Kaduna Declaration” more so, considering the fact that AREWA elders are backing their youths in this jinx breaking declaration; it is no longer a child’s-play.

However, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) are watching with kin interest to see the AREWA youths fulfill their promise as written on the said “KADUNA DECLARATION” it will be an act of cowardice if they back down from it. If they are to be taken serious, we dare them to keep to their promise.

ReplyDeleteIf they back down, then they are certainly toothless bulldogs and cowards.. I told you that the declaration was instigated by the government. Now that they have not seen much confusion or internal wrangling amongst Igbos, much more IPOB, they are confused. They thought it would make much fuss, but see now how we remain resolute. Many thanks to those top Igbos who remained silent. God bless you. Old men should not open their mouths quickly to speak. They should give time, regurgitate the matter for VERY LONG before advising the younger people secretly about the case. No need for public statements. That should be limited going forwards. God bless my God given race, Igbo.
