THE WEAK AND FEEBLE ATTEMPT TO LINK VICTOR UMEH WITH BIAFRA STRUGGLE
Nigeria is known for her lies and deceptive tendencies that clad her institutions, to which DSS also belong.... a shameful and disgraceful mania. Biafrans were surprised to hear the unpopular attempt by Buhari’s led Government to link up Victor Umeh, a politician, with Biafra restoration sponsorship. This is quite funny and absurd and nothing but an attempt of a dying and drowning nation to lay hold on anything she could as a result of the fast emission of demises and collapse suffocating her. Nigeria has lost focus and lost agenda. She is now pursuing and attacking hers citizens. That's the program Buhari and his "agent run administration" is pursuing now. Ordinarily, one will not mind sweeping such weightless and baseless allusion of a dying nation to the nearest recycle bin, but for clarity and exposure of serpentine and rickety mental state of the dying contraption, I deem it worthy to pen down these facts and truths for the world to see and hear.
WHO IS VICTOR UMEH?
Victor Umeh was born on July 19, 1962 to the late Sir Innocent Ofojekwu Umeh (KSM) and Lady Elizabeth Umeh (LSM) of Ifite village, Aguluzigbo in Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State, Nigeria. Born into a strict Christian family, he started his education at St. Bridget’s Primary School Aguluzigbo from where he proceeded to Bubendorff Memo-rial Grammar School, Adazi-Nnukwu, graduating on top of his class. The same year, he got admission into University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where he read Estate Management and graduated in June 1984 with a BSc Honours in Estate Management.
His first stint in politics was in 1998 when he became a founding member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) where he was elected State Treasurer in Anambra State in 1999. He resigned from the PDP in 2001 and joined hands with other progressive minds to register the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) eventually in 2002. He was the first National Vice Chairman South East of the Party and later its National Treasurer. Till present, this man has been an unrepentant Nigeria politician who only think of the contraption’s various political position and less of Biafra.
FUNNY AND WEAK CLAIMS BY DSS
DSS alleges that Victor Umeh (a Nigerian politician) sponsors Biafra restoration struggle, and Biafrans ask, in which way has this Nigeria politician show support of Biafran struggle? Has anyone seen Umeh on the street protesting for Biafra restoration or condemn those Biafrans killed by Buhari's killer squards. Or doesn’t it look crazy for one to think that Victor Umeh (a Nigerian senatorial seat candidate) has a monetary support to IPOB when IPOB already abhors whatever that comes from the contraption as Umeh believes in seeking for Senatorial position in Nigeria. Any one who aspires for any political positition in Nigeria is a sworn enemy of Biafra. Biafrans already do not relate or mix up with these corrupt politicians, knowing too well how deceptive and selfish they are. Biafrans all over the world are already blessed by God that the financial involvements of the freedom struggle only come from them. As Nnamdi Kanu has proven to them that money is never IPOB problem rather freedom.
As alleged at some quarters, the DSS who is operating APC agenda against Victor Umeh winning of Court of Appeal case should come clean and stop looking for blame where it doesn’t exist. Umeh’s arrest no doubt is political gangsterism which the APC plans against Umeh which the DSS only wants to hide under Biafra issue to carry out. IPOB and Biafrans in general will not wish to deal with any Nigerian politicians to which Victor Umeh is one of the contraption gladiators. The last thing in Victor Umeh's wish is for Biafra to come, because they all know that in Biafra, politics is a different ball game. This is like saying that IPOB is in a handshake with the fugitive Willie Obiano or other governors in Biafra land like Rochas Okorocha of Imo State or Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia state, that observed the killing, maiming and incarceration of Biafrans. Is Victor Umeh and the murderous Willie Obiano not in the same party that is in charge of Anambra State where Biafrans are killed in their hundreds? Is Umeh not a Nigerian politician who only thinks only of one Nigeria where politics is all about looting of the country's treasury instead of building infrastructure... Nigeria’s way and not Biafra way? The DSS should hide their faces in shame for this cheap blackmail against Biafrans. APGA remains a Nigeria political party, Willie Obiano is their governor while Victor Umeh was a senate candidate of the party the governor killed IPOB unarmed peaceful protesters. So Umeh and Willie Obiano collectively are anti Biafra. If DSS is arresting Victor Umeh, let them state why and not hide under the guise of Biafra.
If Umeh has made any statement in support of Biafra in secret or open, that is approach with scepticism by Biafrans, knowing too well that such statement is only connected with deceptive tendencies to lure the electorate to vote him in his senatorial bid just like Orji Uzor Kalu recent junk. This whole drama stands nowhere close to IPOB, just the way oil and water have no understanding.
HYPOCRISY OF THE CLAIM
It is on print that Umeh might have been picked up due to his one time statement against eastern Nigeria law makers over their quietness in the killings that happened in Anambra and other Biafran state. The same Umeh never blamed his party or Governor Willie Obiano who ordered shoot at site, rather blaming the house members due to his myopic plan for the seat. Although it is just for him to condemn the gruesome killing of peaceful Biafran protesters, just as General Buhari will frown at the killing of Boko Haram terrorist without any one picking him up till date. Or does Biafra freedom connotes evil when he (Buhari) goes around preaching for Palestinians independent without anyone threatening him. Why does he think people should not demand freedom as he thinks of Palestinians freedom? Well Umeh's case is a red warning to those who seat on fence today, the earlier they realize the importance of wholly identifying with the struggle, the better. Biafra has come to stay and no doubt the likes of Umeh has never and will never be a good freedom fighter nor friends of IPOB.
