......Youthful Biafra Agitators Have Excelled as Warriors for Self-determination; Elders Must Acknowledge Their Role & Wish Them Well

Let us be real in our attempt to try to get a grasp of the ongoing fever-pitch level in the interest shown for IPOB and their Biafran allegiance activists fighting to restore Biafra. There is one thing l must caution most of us who are above the age of 50 and as a matter of fact, above 45 years of age. One thing that l have to tell you folks of my age group is that we must know that the war being waged by this generation – the millennials – is a “Facebook” war which technically translates to “social media” propaganda war. This is a war of equals and those fighting it are truly competent and therefore, resolute in their absolutist stand that no one will be able to dissuade them to disengage and engage in anything to the contrary. So far, they have excelled, and we must be gracious enough to accord them that honor.
l am a bit baffled that people keep talking about war in the “physical” – in relation to what they are doing – in essence, denigrating their efforts and that is quite unfortunate. Who exactly on the IPOB, Biafran side is making a case for war? Nnamdi Kanu (NK) and his group do not have any ammunition despite their vituperative pasture on the airwaves. Truth be told or recalled that in 2014 only cautioned that people should arm themselves in such a way to be able to defend themselves if attacked. People took him for a joker and sat to suffer the deleterious consequences of ignoring his forewarning. Not being fore-armed, the Fulani herdsmen came knocking and knocked down a lot of people and into their graves.
That is how foolishness pays a fool his or her worth and nobody should forget that. l heard someone describe Nnamdi Kanu, IPOB and the Biafran agitators as freedom fighters without catapults while their enemies are armored to the teeth. What a shame? And one wondered why the sympathy of the world rests with them solidly. Humiliated, the Nigeria murderous onslaught against the harmless, unarmed kids following the terrains of narrow-mindedness, the Nigerian state went on heist and played the proscription card thereby handing them – IPOB, Biafra agitation – another winning medal when the outside world trashed such as a display of idiocy. Still not cowed, frantic opponents took some other desperate actions like the Operation “Python Dance” II in Southeast Nigeria aimed at assassinating Nnamdi Kanu but failed once more. He is alive though the Nigerian Army killed 28 innocent kids thereby giving the agitators still all manners of publicity and lifeline the group seriously needs to extend its existence and most likely, achieve all her set out plans.

"Python Dance" violated 1999 Constitution
Mobilizing divisions of the Nigerian Army just for sake of raiding unarmed and undefended Nnamdi Kanu’s residence is said to have been motivated by psychosis of power!
Today, that ill-fated military raid has given Nnamdi Kanu the status of an internationally protected person – “IPP”, the Nigerian state once more floored. Britain, the Saudis or the Egyptians were nowhere to be found and Nnamdi Kanu keeps his happy “nwanza” dance. For those of us who know the aphorism associated with the Igbo word of this nwanza already know that he is a special person who came for a purpose and he has stooped to conquer. And that is come rain, come shine.
Someone of my age who has lived one’s entire life watching the eery drama of the Nigerian lies getting exposed by these kids scattered all over the world and therefore, wish them well. And because l believe in what they subscribe to and fighting for, l judge them as competing well in media exposures and outlet ownership as they work daily refusing to be outsmarted. That is why my sympathy is with them and l mean that strongly.
Anyone 65 and above has absolutely zero chance of changing them. The oldies must realize they are fighting this fight now because they have no interest living like most of us. And we need to quit making fools of ourselves because from the stories told them, as handed down from father to a son, mother to a daughter, their memories are sharp and therefore, not asking you and l for our help getting into the grove, ducking it out and moving forward. That is one of the reasons you and l need to butt out and wish them well.

They are warriors on and in their own rights. They, therefore, need no discordant voices from our aging group. They may be young, but they have come to terms realizing the entire falsehood that is baked into the Nigerian project and enterprise. That they are not interested and willing to accept or condone the unacceptable status quo is because they are right. They are right for they have seen their peers all over the world in the person of Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk, those Asian kids in their age groups doing exceptionally well because their societies encouraged and helped them. They have also seen themselves and their parents exceedingly successful elsewhere, but not their native land, Nigeria. They do not see themselves as losing anything but Nigeria, which they deem to be a necessary evil to get rid of.
Go ahead and bet these youthful warriors to your own detriment.
