Biafra: The Success Of IPOB's Sit-At-Home And The Shame Of Uwazuruike

June 01, 2017

The annual Biafra heroes day event which took place on May 30th, 2017, has been reported to be the most successful since its institution by the leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) with Nnamdi Kanu as the arrow head of the struggle.

There was uniformity in all the reports from various Nigerian media that covered the event in all parts of Biafraland and beyond. Also, reports from foreign media such as BBC, Aljazeera, Daily Mail etc, asserted that there was a total compliance to the sit-at-home ordered by Nnamdi Kanu.

It is also important to note that the sit-at-home was not only observed in Biafraland but also in Lagos, Abuja, Kano, Kaduna and other western and northern states in Nigeria. Markets were completely shut down, schools, banks, companies, including street shops were totally locked up in obeisance and honour of our fallen heroes.

There was no vehicular activities and people were seen sitting at their houses, discussing Biafra matters, praying and eventually observed a two minutes silence in the honour of those who paid the ultimate sacrifice that we may live.

The total compliance by all the states within the geographical areas of Biafraland is an indication that the chain of British backed divide and conquer antics has been broken. It is now obvious that by the collective will of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) exhibited on May 30th 2017, Biafrans are indeed ready for Referendum.

The success recorded was made possible because of the tenacity of one man, Nnamdi Kanu who has proven to be not just a leader, but a man destined to get us Biafra. He gave the Biafran people a command and it was obeyed, what does it imply? IPOB led by Nnamdi Kanu is the only institution where the interests of Biafrans are protected. As a matter of fact, the resoluteness of Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB to salvage Biafra from Nigeria is strangulating the British empire as they are bereft of ideas on how to stop the agitation in order to safeguard their interest.

Biafra would have been restored had Ralph Uwazuruike done half of what Nnamdi Kanu has done. It is a shame that Uwazuruike sabotaged the people of Biafra and now working with the enemies in politics against the people.

Recall that Ralph Uwazuruike had earlier declared May 22, 2017 a public holiday, and advised that Biafrans should disregard the sit-at-home order by the leader of IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu. It came as a shock to us when Uwazuruike yesterday, chewed his own word by indirectly acknowledging Kanu's supremacy and tagging the event a great success.

The month of May was filled with many surprises, it saw alot of enemies of Biafra begging and aligning with IPOB; those who called us miscreants are now begging for us to share our cake, politicians begging for restructuring, and just like others, Uwazuruike ate his vomit. The world now reckons that we are unstoppable and until Biafra is restored, we must continue!
