Some hidden motives behind the ban imposed on the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, preventing him from going to the press is beginning to play out bit by bit.
Biafra Writers can understand that the ban was targeted at preventing him to defend himself from certain propaganda aimed at discrediting his prestige and good image by the enemies of Biafra restoration.
For quite some time now, there are news making round the social media which accuses the IPOB leader of accepting gifts from some politicians particularly from Obiano, the Anambra state governor. According to the fake report, Obiano handed Nnamdi Kanu, a sum of 50million USD and two SUV cars.
Anyone would ask, what would Nnamdi Kanu be really doing with such gifts coming from an enemy of his people who sanctioned the shoot-at-sight of IPOB members during the 2016 Biafran Heroes Remembrance Day at Eke Nkpor, at St. Edmund's school Nkpor, and at the Head bridge, Onitsha.

Biafra Writers wishes to make it abundantly clear to those peddling this propaganda against our leader that Nnamdi Kanu is not a hungry activist and that he is contented with whatever he has. He cannot condescend to accept such kind of gift from any state governor after he vehemently refused to accept many offers and gifts from the federal government which includes oil wells and the position of the vice president of the country.
We want Biafrans to understand that this propaganda just intensified since after the successful Sit-At-Home protest organized by IPOB worldwide and must be disregard as fake.
Similarly, as the Anambra state gubernatorial election draw closer, some greedy politicians paid to rubbish the image of Nnamdi Kanu as noted, has already started adding his pictures to their election campaign posters with the intent to confuse gullible minds to believe that Nnamdi Kanu is now playing politics or had endorsed their candidature.

A newly registered political party with the name MEGA PROGRESSIVE PEOPLES PARTY with its gubernatorial candidate, One Mr. Chuma Angus Ojukwu; a son of the former traditional ruler of Awka-Etiti and a trader in 'line F' in the building materials market, Ogidi, Anambra state who is also a business associate of Dangote cement was recently caught in the act as he hosted all his colleagues in the market at a party in order to gain their franchises and as well make it appear as if Nnamdi Kanu has endorsed his candidature and party.
Biafra Writers’ correspondent gathered from the interviews granted by many traders at the building materials market Ogidi, indicting the said Mr. Chuma Angus Ojukwu as being an enemy of the Biafra struggle through his vicious verbal attacks he always subjects to IPOB members in the market anytime Biafra issues is raised.
During the interviews granted to a concerned Biafra citizen by name Mr. Iwuoha Ugochukwu; a trader in the market who explained bitterly how on several occasions the said Mr. Chuma Angus Ojukwu had verbally assaulted him while preaching the Biafra gospel.

Mr. Iwuoha expressed surprise seeing that the same man who is a clear enemy of Biafra decorating the tables, chairs and everywhere during his campaign with Biafra insignias and colours. This according to him raised a suspicion that Mr. Chuma Angus has something up his sleeves against the struggle and that is nothing short of sabotage!
Going further on the interview, we understood that the new party is being sponsored by Dangote group PLC, which clearly explained the perspective they are coming from.
Therefore, the Indigenous People of Biafra, by this report is urging the entire public to disregard and ignore any of such unauthorized news on any news platform whether on electronic or print media knowing that it is the handiwork of the enemies of Biafra to smear the good reputation of IPOB and its leader. We are as well sounding it as a note of warning to Mr. Chuma Angus Ojukwu and all other political jobbers in and outside Anambra state to desist from such criminal and unsolicited act or be ready to face the music.
