Biafra: At The Mention Of Nnamdi Kanu Nigeria's Lawyer Goes Missing: Running Away From Ecowas Cannot Save Buhari

Thursday 6th October, 2016

When Nnamdi Kanu said that "we (Biafrans) will do everything humanly possible to restore Biafra," little did they understand the passion behind those words. The ongoing case between Nnamdi Kanu and Nigeria since his arrest on 14th October 2015 has given the world a glimpse of how far Biafrans can go to restore the ancient city of Biafra.

On 8th October 2016, Nigerian judges were on the run,  her defence lawyer abandoned her to save the shame. Where are the Nigeria judges I ask? The most unethical and corrupt judge in the world, in the person of Justice John Tsoho, who prolonged Nnamdi Kanu's case from 25th January 2016 to 26th September 2016, against previous court orders, was no where to be found. The Community Court Of Justice,  ECOWAS,  was ready to tutor the Nigerian judiciary on how to obey court orders but the federal government of Nigeria was on her heels.

The dead, fraudulent and corrupt Nigerian judiciary has only succeeded in proving to the world that she is not sincere with Nnamdi Kanu's case. The Nigerian government has proven that Nnamdi Kanu is only but her political prisoner, prosecuted for exercising his right to freedom of speech and self determination amongst others.

ECOWAS Court has shown a significant level of competence in redressing issues in the subregion. The entity has made it impossible for the corrupt stricken Nigerian government to interfere or successfully influence judgement.

Nigerian judges should rather go back to their paymaster (President Muhammadu Buhari) and express their dismay,  the embarrassment they face, and the international ridicule he has dragged them to. Nnamdi Kanu's case has proved to be a much highly profiled case than what Nigeria ever envisaged.

The presiding judge (Justice Micah Wright) at the ECOWAS made it clear and plain on 5th October 2016, ...he stressed that Nnamdi Kanu's case will no longer be adjourned beyond 8th November 2016 whether Nigeria government's defence counsel decides to show up or not.  He has also showed his readiness to uphold the rule law as he fined the Nigerian government the sum of one million naira as compensation for Barr Ejiofor's flight fare to the court venue.

The Nigerian government should bear it in mind that "no matter how long this case is prolonged, their evil days still await them." The next date at ECOWAS will be a doom day for Nigeria.

  1. They can run, but they cannot hide. The Spirit of Biafra will catch them and they know what will happen. All hail Biafra.
