As Nigeria has continued to apply the ‘’divide and rule’’ tactics as a legacy the British government left for her; her paid media outlets adopted this strategy too, all in their bid to frustrate the restoration of Biafra.
Vanguard Newspaper is the Nigerian media outlet that championed the latest propaganda of an imaginary Indigenous People Of Biafra, IPOB, splinter groups (TRIPOB and RE-IPOB) known to no other person but to them (Vanguard). Vanguard did not only create these names in the minds of the public, they continually reissued these distorted stories at least once in every 48 hours.
Vanguard claimed they were in constant touch with the fictitious ‘’Effiong Chima Osuji’’, they tried to lobby Charles Okah’s release at the expense of Nnamdi Kanu’s unyielding stance for Biafra, they lied against Emma Powerful, Prof. Nwankwo and Dr. Arthur Nwankwo without a feeling of guilt, they tried to confound lovers of Nnamdi Kanu into believing he denounced Biafra. They gave life to their concocted stories to lure the simple-hearted to their world of falsehood –Vanguard went too far!

Dear reader, if we take away the efforts of the Biafran Media Team, Vanguard would have successfully ruined the restoration of Biafra. Media propaganda was the major tool that Nigeria and Britain used against Biafra in the ungodly 1967-1970 genocide. Biafra was shut out from the world –thanks to Bruce Mayrock, a student at the Columbia University, who burnt himself to death in front of the United Nations building Headquarters to protest against this genocide. The world interfered and stopped Britain.
Fortunately for Biafra this time, the world has become a global village; there is no longer monopoly of media. Vanguard has realized that further lies against Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB will sink her. The old Eastern region has already boycotted their papers; except for Lagos, Vanguard would surely have recorded her heaviest loss in history. ‘’Vanguard should have known that the Hausa-Fulanis does not patronize Vanguard Newspaper, before embarking on their journey of perdition’’ –Silvia Nwosu.

Whatever made Vanguard to trivialize our relentless efforts to restore Biafra, whatever made Mr Sam Amuka (the owner of Vanguard) to think he can find his way to the heart of Buhari through character assassination against Nnamdi Kanu, whatever made him to underestimate the powers behind a brave heart; whatever made Vanguard to belittle the commitment of Nnamdi Kanu and other valiant Biafran soldiers in the Nigerian prison custodies –the Biafran Media Team has significantly cleared those doubts. We have made them understand that ‘’we do not just love our country, but we are fanatical about Biafra.’’ –Nnamdi Kanu.
Big thanks to Biafrans all around the world. We launched a massive attack against this agent to the underworld, the armies of the aliens. We shared messages on Facebook, we twitted, and we enlightened the simple minds through Radio Biafra and family meetings. We also withstood their falsehood through numerous written articles.

The ‘’Change’’ has begun with IPOB, if the Nigerian government was not quick to expose the plagiarized speech by their unlettered president, Muhammadu Buhari, we were about doing so already. The Nigerian media will soon find it almost impossible to peddle any falsehood on their dailies for the fear of being exposed by the Biafran media.
This Vanguard’s ugly experience will serve as a deterrent to any other corrupt Nigerian media outlet that will attempt to malign Nnamdi Kanu, peddle fictitious stories against IPOB or frustrate the restoration of Biafra.
What has the Bifran Media Team done differently? –We simply suffocated the fantastically corrupt Nigerian media (as described by David Cameron) with the TRUTH. Little did the world understand what Nnamdi Kanu meant when he said ‘’I will destroy Nigeria with the TRUTH.’’
Our eyes are still wide open, if this Charmeleonic Vanguard suddenly decides to go back to their old ways; this formidable Biafran Media Team will deliberately and bravely engage her in a more fierce media war that might not end even after Biafra is restored –for our weapons of warfare are mighty through God.
