RED ALERT: POLICE STORMS IPOB FAMILY MEETING IN ABA, KIDNAPS 7 IPOB BRETHREN

Wednesday 24 August, 2016

Information just arriving the news desk of Biafra Writers has it that as at 7pm yesterday, Tuesday, 23rd August, 2016, a group of Nigerian Policemen swooped on members of the Indigenous People of Biafra after convening their normal family meeting, arresting 7 of them at the spot.

The 7 arrested IPOB members including their Coordinator was said to have concluded their meeting at Osusu Zone Aba, Abia state, when members of the Nigerian Police Force from the Area Command of Central Police Station(CPS), Aba, suddenly invaded their meeting venue while others scampered for safety. The arrested persons are now being held captive in their station in Aba.

What Biafra Writers does not understand is if these hungry policemen are on a hunt for food and money considering the harsh economic crises currently bedevilling the country because recently, the Attorney General of the Federation has ordered the release of all pro-Biafra agitators in detention.

We are yet to decipher what policemen would be looking for in a meeting place if not to further break law and order by putting these innocent victims in their net over unfounded allegations.

When has convening meeting in Nigeria become a crime. These people were just in a room talking and were not protesting.

By now, it should be more clearer who breaks laws and order in Nigeria other than the so-called security forces who have sworn to uphold the rule of law.

  1. The Nigerian dss and prosecution keep delaying the judicial process in the case of Nnamdi Kanu and accuse our legal team of frustrating the prosecution. Here again Nigerian police invades someone's private property and arrests inmates of the house discussing...who is now breaking the law? Why do the Nigeria law enforcement officers keep proving to the world that they are lawless and that Nigeria is a lawless society?
