ANOTHER NIGERIA ARMY WAR MONGER

BIAFRA:
ANOTHER NIGERIA ARMY WAR MONGER

Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) Vice Admiral Ibok-Ette Ibas

8th August 2016

Another Nigeria army has called for war in the Niger Delta, threatening to wipe out  the Niger Delta Avengers if they refused to accept peace negotiation. The Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) Vice Admiral Ibok-Ette Ibas was quoted  as saying that the Nigerian Navy has the capacity to wipe out militancy from the Niger Delta.

If this assertion is anything to go by, one wonders why Buhari had to dissipate a whopping $258 Million USD to hire Blackwater Mercenaries of Saudi Arabia to tackle the Niger Delta Avengers? Now that the hope placed on the Blackwater Mercenaries had proved to be misplaced, the Nigeria Navy has started talking big. Where is this chief of Naval Staff when his boss was doling out money big enough to buy the best naval war weapon only to hire a crop of soldiers that know nothing about the creeks in Niger delta.

AVENGERS: OUR OPERATIVE TEAM ARE IN HIGH SPIRIT; WE ARE WINNING THE WAR!!

The report further said the Naval chief told the press that the Navy has refrained from applying force  to the ongoing negotiations between the militants and the government. The press reported enthusiastically that the navy boss "warned" that the military would come down heavily on the militia freedom fighters should the dialogue between them and the  government fail.

Nigeria newspapers were so  quick to write that the vice admiral called on the militia freedom fighters whom they erroneously call "militants" to have a rethink of their acts which he said is threatening the economy of the country. This admiral is concerned about the effect of the actions of the Avengers on the Nigerian economy but failed to appreciate what the actions of the government and their oil companies have caused to the lives of the people of Niger Delta in over 50 years.

FROM THE AVENGERS: GO GET YOUR OIL FROM THE NORTH; NIGERIA WON'T EXPORT A DROP FROM OUR LAND AGAIN!

Why does Nigeria army think that war in the Niger Delta is the best option? Why have they failed to note that the Niger Delta Avengers are fighting back just to survive the harsh economic ordeals the country they regarded as theirs placed them for decades? Is the army threatening the Avengers because of their resoluteness in fighting for their God-given resources which the uncaring Nigeria governments have been siphoning for decades without the area having any benefit or developments?

Why is the navy chief boiling over the Nigeria Delta issue when Book Haram is wreaking havoc in the north on a daily basis, so much more that the US government have warned their citizens not to visit most northern states because of insecurity. Why not the navy chief take that military might to the north to quell the staggering insecurity in the north than going to wipe out the Avengers that are simply fighting a just cause?

It is very shocking to read from the Nigeria press this few days that what military could come up with is to fight an unjust war in the Niger Delta. The world is simply watching and the Avengers will certainly not fold their arm and watch while they are being decimated.

The army should know that delaying the division of Nigeria is gradually leading the country into a war that will devastate her and have it forcefully divided. They should know that people have been fooled enough and the end of the road has come.

No amount of threat will deter the Avengers from persistently making good their demand whether the army of the rogue nation likes it or not. Enough of this unprofessional war game and newspaper propaganda! Avengers are watching and waiting for you to act, then hell will be let loose!
