BUHARI SANCTIONED THE MURDER OF BRIDGET WITH HIS WORDS: "We Should Learn To Respect Each Other's Faith"....

Few days ago, there was a gruesome murder of a Pastor’s wife, Mrs. Bridget Agbaheme by the Islamic extremists who alleged that she blasphemed against Prophet Mohammed, but did not give the details of the type of blasphemy. Mrs. Agbehemo who hails from Mbaitolu in Imo state of Biafra land, was not even given the opportunity of trial in any of the existing Islamic courts, rather she was given a vicious jungle justice and decapitated in the presence of her husband by the irate Islamic youths.

This barbaric act soon attracted public condemnation while Nigerian president - Muhammadu Buhari simply applauded it, saying; “Let us learn to respect each other’s faith, so that we can know each other and live together in peace.” The President's statement is not only one sided but highly provocative even as many took to the social media to unanimously condemn it.

Since after the public condemnation of both the killing and statement of the President, Kano state police is said to have swung into action to arrest the perpetrators. But Radio Biafra sees such phony arrests as a ploy meant to deceive the public and the international community at large  to think that Nigeria meant well for its citizens, no! they don't. As a matter of fact, this is not the first time we have heard that an Igbo-Biafran is beheaded.

In December 1996, a Christian Igbo-Biafran trader, Mr Gideon Akaluka was reportedly beheaded by Muslim youths in the Northern Nigerian city of Kano. According to the report, Mr Akaluka's wife was said to have torn a piece of the Islamic holy book to use as toilet paper. But some Muslim youths in the city went after the husband, who ran into a police station, killed and beheaded him and joyfully paraded his severed head around the streets of Kano metropolis.

The incident generated public out cry, but nobody was punished by the law even when it was clear that Gideon ran to the Police Station that was supposed to protect him. How is anybody sure that the recent "effort of arrest" said to be in progress by the police over Mrs. Agbaheme’s murder, will see the light of the day, because cases of Igbo-Biafran killings in the past have always been swept under the carpet by the federal government of Nigeria, not to talk of this very one that Buhari publicly acknowledged.

What happened to the people indicted in Apo six killing? Were they punished by the law even more than a decade after the incident? No! What happened to Sanusi, the killer of Gideon Akaluka? Was he punished by the law? No! How then do we believe that this one will be given justice when the President endorsed it? It is our wish to let the international community hear, and see the level of crimes committed against Biafrans on daily basis in Nigeria and for which no one raises an eye brow and to ask why.

Now that we have realized ourselves, we will do everything humanly possible to resist this age-long Islamic subjugation, destruction, internal colonization, barbarism and oppressive and one-sided rules. There is no way we can continue to live together with people whose way of life is to target us either religiously, economically or politically all the time. How long shall we continue to endure this brutality and oppression by the Northern Islamic oligarchs?

It is not yet up to 2 weeks when the Islamic army of Nigeria invaded a Church in Biafra land at 2:00 am and killed all the people who were preparing for worship ahead of Biafra Day Commemoration. We simply cannot continue to experience these horrible killings, gruesomeness and savagery, hence have decided to take our fate in our hands. Enough of this barbarism, it is simply enough!

  1. You guys are fools. All these noises you made are nothing! And if you think they are worth a single thing, just come to KANO and say what you've wrote, then I will know you love Biafra. Maggot and Vagabond is what you guys are.
