IT’S BIAFRA, NO TWO WAYS ABOUT IT
IPOB Peacefully asking for our freedom
Peacefully asking for Biafra via protests, demonstrations, and other legal means is not a wrong deed nor a crime. No Biafran has taken up arms, but Biafrans are being brutally murdered by Buhari and his military henchmen deployed all over Biafran land. It astonishes me to know he does not realize that slavery ended centuries ago.
How can a people be perpetually held captive and terrorized in their own land? How can freedom of speech be squashed by oppression and subjugation? For a great nation forcefully enslaved by sheer gun power in the days of yore, a new dawn has come and no one can stop the sun rising from the east.
Anambra state government’s efforts to connive with clergymen against innocent Biafrans has also proven the decay in the foundation of leadership. In this same state, over 40 Biafrans were drowned mysteriously under the former Governor - Peter Obi’s watch and presently many lives have been lost as the incumbent Governor, Willie Obiano, ordered the killing of innocent Biafrans whose only crime is to seek freedom from subjugation, hatred, annihilation and Islamization.
They protested peacefully, for the release of the illegally incarcerated leader - Nnamdi Kanu and for the restoration of the sovereign state of Biafra. Peaceful protest in a democracy is legal and acceptable and so is self-determination. The refusal to hearken to the cry of the people by an uncaring government is the cause of unwarranted deaths and genocide against innocent Biafrans. The question is, should workers’ protests now be considered a crime and should it attract death penalty?

Yet, peaceful protests, have become a killing spree for the terrorist and atrocious armed forces of Nigeria while Awka, Anambra state has become the gibbet or the gallows for Biafrans on the orders of Obiano; Biafrans are being targeted, hunted, kidnapped and killed gruesomely.
They falsely claim that Biafrans are similar to Boko haram and Fulani herdsmen which are a ridiculously outrageous deception. Boko haram is armed terrorists and killers, Biafrans are peaceful freedom and self-determination seekers. Boko haram has killed thousands of people, wiped off whole villages, burnt hundreds or Christian churches. Fulani herdsmen on their part have also slaughtered several hundred, same goes to Buhari’s military henchmen littered as dirt all over Biafran land. Yet Biafrans have remained calm, unarmed, yet resolute in the pursuit of freedom. Boko haram terrorizes with assault rifles, suicide missions, and dangerous explosives. But Biafrans have remained completely non-violent despite the gruesome slaughterings and atrocities meted out against them.
Boko haram has forcibly, by incessant killings, taken over villages, states, and erected flags but all we peacefully ask for is Biafra. Yet they continually connive to suppress the voices of the innocent masses using gun power, but as in the Bible, there is time for everything. Even with the promise of a second term in office for Willie Obiano by Buhari, Obiano should realize that he has failed woefully. This is the Biafran era and there are no two ways about it.
