Compromise is when a Judge turns the rule of law upside down for his selfish gains or wickedness; the judge who previously ruled against a secret trial for Nnamdi Kanu on the 19th of February 2016, suddenly made a U-turn on his ruling on the 7th March 2016, without an appeal from the prosecuting counsel. In the past weeks, there have been stories making the rounds about a 100 million Naira bribe linked to Hon. John Tsoho and Buhari's influence in the Nigerian judiciary.
There was also news about Buhari’s pledge, to appoint Hon. Tsoho as the next Chief Judge of the federation if he pleases him in the prevailing court proceedings. The incompetent judge has always been known for his inconsistent rulings. Hon. Tsoho who should be seen as an upholder of justice in equity and fairness, has chosen to drag the legal institution in Nigeria further in the mud. Buhari in connivance with Tsoho, wishes to jail Kanu by all means humanly possible.
He systematically continues to keep Nnamdi Kanu incarcerated by his frequent court adjournments, only to gratify his master Muhammadu Buhari. There is simply no equity, no fairness, no justice and no consistency in the Nigerian judicial system. This is similar to what the Nigerian Armed Forces are doing to Biafrans, they extort Biafrans by illegally detaining them and charging them excessively for bail. The judge once claimed that Kanu will commit same crime again if granted bail, even without trial.
How then can he commit a crime again when he hasn’t committed one in the first place? It is a shame to know that a man of his standing, would be a willing tool for dictatorship in Nigeria’s democracy. Asking for freedom and self-determination cannot be seen as a crime, hence, accusing Kanu of treasonable felony is phantom and shows the recklessness and the inability of the Nigerian government to comprehend even its own laws. Persecuting Nnamdi Kanu is a challenge to the international community, collectively we must not let Nigeria continue these unjust practices.

It is utterly shameful that after 6 months, Nigeria still has no evidence to the crime Kanu is being charged with and yet has denied him bail. It should not be surprising if by the 6th of April 2016, Nigerian government presents a written note or an audio tape as evidence in the law court against Nnamdi Kanu. Hopefully, by next hearing, we expect to see another drama by the inconsistent judge and Buhari’s willing tool against Biafrans and Kanu. The dictator of the 21st century in the person of Muhammadu Buhari uses his fatal claims of fight against corruption, as a cover-up while undermining democracy in Africa.
It is very disheartening that the United Nations and the international community are only watching while Buhari makes a mess of democracy and reduces the value of life in Nigeria. His machinations have also gone to the Appeal Court in Nigeria to twist the appeal efforts of Kanu’s legal team against the inconsistencies and bias rulings of Justice Tsoho.
Buhari is undermining the judicial system in Nigerian, using Hon. Justice Tsoho as a willing tool to achieve this. The Indigenous People of Biafra and friends of Biafra are seeking for Justice and fairness on Kanu's case.
