KANU: CONTINUED EXTRA-JUDICIAL DETENTION OF NNAMDI KANU IS A VIOLATION OF HIS FUNDAMENTAL HUMAN RIGHT

KANU: CONTINUED EXTRA-JUDICIAL DETENTION OF NNAMDI KANU IS A VIOLATION OF HIS FUNDAMENTAL HUMAN RIGHT
Director General DSS, Lawan Daura
“Freedom of speech is the concept of the inherent human right to voice out one's opinion publicly without fear of censorship intimidation or punishment". "Speech" is not limited to public utterances, as this generally includes other forms of expression. Freedom of speech is the constitutional right of all Nigerians as enshrined in the Nigerian constitutionThe above definition was the reason our Leader Mr Nnamdi Kanu was kidnapped, unlawfully detained, beaten, tortured, starved and subjected to all manner of inhuman and degrading treatments simply because he wants his country Biafra to be independent, he wants his people Biafrans to be freed from the extreme marginalization and pains they are going through in the hands of the Hausas and Yorubas Nigeria.
So we speak out in total condemnation of the continued extrajudicial detention of Nnamdi Kanu and inhuman treatments meted to him continually which includes starvation, all forms of outlawed torture Technics, harassment and denial of medical attention because this is a violation of his fundamental human rights. Nnamdi Kanu who voiced out and expressed his feelings against the injustices in Nigeria committed no crime. Kanu who voiced out and condemned in strong terms the Nigerian government over the marginalization  of Biafrans for nearly half a century now did not commit any crime. As a leader he speaks for Biafrans who can't speak for themselves. Since after the genocidal war of 1967-1970, Nigerian government has continued to cause all manner of pain and suffering summary execution and massacre to his people. He was illegally detained and humiliated because he wants freedom. Nnamdi Kanu loves his people and passionate about his country ‘BIAFRA’. He did not commit any crime. No wonder  the judge sitting at Abuja High Court excused self from Nnamdi Kanu’s case on 23 December 2015. What other judgement are we waiting for?

It is so sad, shocking, annoying and disrespectful that the high court at Abuja ordered the release of our leader, Prince Nnamdi Kanu unconditionally on 16 Dec. 2015, but the DSS and dictator Buhari being "above the law" continue holding him behind bars. May I remind Nigerian government and Department of Security Service (DSS) that the continuing detention of our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu despite several court orders and court rulings has made Nigeria a laughing stock in the international community and may spell doom for Nigeria. Is it not an insult to the Nigerian Bar Association that Buhari is busy disobeying court orders and they are not blinking an eye lid? As it is now, Biafrans and Nigerian citizens no longer have confidence in Nigerian judiciary since the Attorney General of the Federation cannot stand up and defend the integrity of the judiciary. What a shame!  Buhari and DSS have proven to the world how ignorant and lawless they are by carrying out all forms of human right abuses and disobeying court orders and rulings. The extra-judicial detention of Nnamdi Kanu has completely exposed the fraud called Nigeria in the international community.
PRINCE NNAMDI KANU
The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and world leaders should do the needful by prevailing on Nigerian government and DSS to release Nnamdi Kanu  forthwith unconditionally. The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB)  is watching and counting the time. The International community should be held responsible for any breakdown of law and order that may result at the end of the elasticity of Biafrans patience.
Charging Nnamdi Kanu with Treasonable Felony is the height of idiosyncrasy and madness on the state of Nigeria under the leadership of Mohamadu Buhari. The world must have known that Nnamdi Kanu was right all these while, that Nigeria is indeed a Zoo where only animals inhabit because they don't reason properly. RELEASE NNAMDI KANU NOW, BIAFRANS DEMAND!
