Igbos Too Big to Be Led by Fulani Servants – Eluwa Chidiebere’s Open Letter to George Obiozor

By Eluwa Chidiebere Chinazu | Biafra Writers

February 28th, 2021.

Greetings Sir. I take the liberty to assume that you and your family are in good condition, especially as you are not part of the people being hunted at the moment by the murderous Janjaweed army in Orlu. May this letter find you in good faith therefore, and as you are part of Nigeria’s intellectual class, endeavor please, to utilize the insight therein.

Sir, may I have you know that you do not represent Igbos in anyway and therefore cannot decide for them. To clear your illusions sir, I request that you issue a command to the people. If they obey you, then you are in charge, but if they don’t, then know you for sure you don’t speak for them.

The faction of Ohaneze Ndigbo you are heading is only a political outfit seeking political relevance in Igbo land, and that they do by licking the shoes of the filthy Fulani cabals. The present Igbos are not into Nigerian politics.

The genius race you claim to be speaking for is a well-known proud race that never bows to nor serves outsiders. This is the land of the brave men and women from the east and so cannot have servants as leaders.

In case you have not realized it sir, you and the governors are endangering the lives of the Igbos through your evil actions geared towards enriching yourselves. If you folks don’t retrace your steps, such time will come when you all will be visited by the nemesis of your actions. The brave men that you have tormented their life might come after you. Only then will you understand what is in stock for evil doers. But as a lovely son to an erring father, I do not wish to allow you stay on in the wrong path till your evils find you out. I therefore herewith offer you an advice a son would a father: retrace your steps before it’s too late.

Just like the Supreme Court governor of Imo state, Hope Uzodinma, you were imposed by the Northern cabal to head a political outfit called Ohanaeze for them. Politics is politics and the land is the land. When making your political statements, do not make it an Igbo affair for you do not speak for the Igbos. Whatever political game that you are playing, leave the land out of it. Indicting the land in your political statements means that you are an enemy of the people.

The people know their leader. Every leader from the Igbo land must be bold till death and that is how it has been for ages. If you can't meet up with such demand, then you don't have the qualification to flaunt yourself as a leader in Igbo land. Brave men cannot be ruled by cowards and ill-mannered opportunists.
