Biafra: Our Next Stop is UN - Nnamdi Kanu Asserts

September 13, 2019

By Nelson Ofokar Yagazie | Biafra Writers

Having successfully launched Biafra struggle into the heart of EU members of parliament, the Supreme Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, is again orchestrating plans to take the agitation to the United Nations. Kanu who took to his official twitter handle to thank members of the EU who gave him audience at Brussels said, “A big thank you to MEP Seb Dance, his colleagues and hardcore Biafrans that made our visit to the European Parliament on September 10, 2019, memorable. IPOB worldwide are thankful. Quest to restore Biafra is unstoppable. Next stop, UN.”

Undeniably, Kanu since reemergence has been grossly engaged in underground diplomatic moves to galvanize international support for Biafra. With the recent invitation to the EU, the moves are paying off it seems. While the forces of darkness holding Biafrans bound are yet to recover from the fever of the EU breakthrough, an optimistic Kanu is already looking forward to a bigger kill.

Recall that while Kanu was still incommunicado following the invasion of his home by the murderous Nigerian military, his deputy, Mazi Uche Okafor Mefor, the Head of Directorate of State, Mazi Chika Edoziem, Deputy Head of Directorate of State, Mazi Tony Nzurumike, and the Head of Finance, Lady Nnennaya Anya, went to United Nations headquarters at Geneva to present evidence of Nigerian government's killing of unarmed IPOB members.

This time around, however, if Kanu and crew go to the UN, it will be to present Biafra on the table as he has done at EU. And with the gusto, Kanu and group pursue whatever they set mind on, one will not be surprised to hear of his invitation to the UN soon.
