Fulani in Nigeria and Their Many Stooges

July 7, 2019

By Johnson Nnabuife | Biafra Writers

Since Nigeria’s independence, the Fulani has employed the services of different stooges to achieve their wicked mission in the accursed geographical space called Nigeria.

Not up to a fortnight after the independence, October 12, 1960, to be precise, the premier of Northern Region, Ahmadu Bello, made the arrogant proclamation, “The new nation called Nigeria should be an estate of our great grandfather Othman Dan Fodio. We must ruthlessly prevent a change of power. We use the minorities in the north as willing tools and the south as a conquered territory and never allow them to rule over us and never allow them to have control over their future.”

Since that proclamation, the Fulani has vigorously pursued that agenda. Tactfully they have always sought out from other tribes willing tools to help achieve their aim. They lure some with power, some with Islam, and yet others with money.

In conquering the indigenous people of the North, Othman Dan Fodio employed the services of stooges. Advancing that cause, Bello picked Tafawa Belewa who was of Gere ethnicity to run the government at Lagos while he (Ahmadu Bello) stays back to consolidate Fulani grip on the North, with the understanding that, with the British lopsided political structure of Nigeria, he who controls North controls the entire country. Abubakar Tafawa Balewa himself earned the trust of the Sarduana when he declared, “I should like to make it clear to you that if the British quitted Nigeria now at this stage the Northern people would continue their interrupted conquest to the sea.”

Taking instructions from his master (Ahmadu Bello), Belewa tried to destabilize western Nigeria, stampeding the people’s will and installing a puppet, Samuel Akintola, who the Fulani could manipulate with ease. The first coup halted that, however.

When the idea of exterminating Biafra became paramount in the caliphate’s agenda, stooges like Theophilus Danjuma, Murtala Muhammed, Yakubu Gowon, Olusegun Obasanjo, and the likes were engaged.

Later, Gowon was used to take schools from churches, impose on the schools a set of curricula that whittled down the influence of the church while promoting Islam, changed the school calendar year to ensure it does not end in December because of Christmas celebration, and introduce the Naira currency that did away with the Star of David in the old currency while incorporating Islamic symbols.

Later, Obasanjo was installed. He did not disappoint them; he made it possible for sharia to take root in the country and allowed the imposition of a Muslim constitution on the peoples.

Currently, the most prominent Fulani stooge is Yemi Osinbajo. Although a professor and pastor, Osibanjo has played the perfect house slave. He has been so blatant in his lies to cover up the atrocities of Fulani people.
