To really understand why the zoo – Nigeria, has never worked and will never work, one will have to go back in history, to the 12th of October 1960, merely 12 days after Nigeria’s flag independence and to the comment made by Sir Ahmadu Bello, the then premier of northern Nigeria.
It reads inter alia, “The new nation called Nigeria shall be an estate of our great-grandfather, Uthman Dan-fodio. We must ruthlessly prevent a change of power. We use the minorities of the north as willing tools and the south as a conquered territory and never allow them to rule over us; and never allow them to have control over their future.”
From the moment I was able to discern the impact and the hidden, obvious truths in those words and about the mindset of the then premier of northern Nigeria – Ahmadu Bello, at that incipient stage of Nigeria’s independence, I became convinced that it goes way further than that. To those of them who claim to know Nigeria’s problems, I always ask them this question in my mind. Do they really appreciate the meaning of those words by Ahmadu Bello?
“Conscience” they say, “is an open wound and only the truth can heal it.” Nigeria has always been a paradox. My people, the Biafrans, who are indigenous and who occupy this space for more than 5.000 years before the invasion of colonial British with their bible and plough, unarguably have and still are making the greatest contributions to the advancement of this geographical space called Nigeria. They are the geese that lay the golden eggs. What have the Biafrans not done to keep Nigeria together? No one can think of any other ethnic nationality that has made more contributions to propel Nigeria forward both before and after the so-called independence from Britain.

The chief custodian of Nigeria and a Biafran, Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe, gave everything just to have one huge country which other African countries, who newly attained independence can look up to. He even relinquished his rightful position of a prime minister, to the north, just to make Nigeria work. He sacrificed and mortgaged the happiness of his own Biafran people, just to make Nigeria work, but all were in futility. There’s no gain-saying the fact that the Biafrans in general have and are still making the greatest sacrifices in Nigeria till date. It didn’t end there. After the war of 1967-1970, as it were, the 3R’s (Reconstruction, Rehabilitation and Reconciliation) that was proposed for the purpose of reintegrating the Biafran populace into Nigeria, was only worth the white paper it was written on. It was only deception and a ploy to mask the hatred and the deliberate, systematic and institutionalized marginalization against Biafra. A malevolent craft that went into full propulsion thereafter and which has continued till date. Biafrans had to survive after a policy that was meant to pauperize them through the seizure of all their wealth and finances.
“Quota system” took the order of things, especially in the civil service, in order to deny the Biafrans of their rightful positions, render them slaves and to encourage mediocrity in the system. Biafrans had no other option than to condemn themselves to slavery and servitude abroad in order to make ends meet. Fortunately, the Biafran is endowed with resilience, would always excel in any venture he finds himself and rise to high positions through hard work and sacrifice. As our people saw opportunities in these areas, millions more traveled abroad just to work and make money since Nigeria could not take care of them. But these enemies of the people who run Nigeria are yet the ones who control all security apparatus in Nigeria. They will become jealous of the survival and success of the Biafrans abroad and then return with malicious policies, to steal these fortunes once again from the Biafrans as they bring them back home to build Biafra land. They would not allow prospective investors to establish their factories/companies in Biafra land, even the existing ones were strangled out of business. The Biafrans have always felt that these enemies of peace will see reason to leave Biafra alone and instead, concentrate their effort in making Nigeria better at least by providing the basic necessities of life. But No! This jealousy and envy is rooted deep in the system against the Biafran populace.
Analyzing these issues was merely to let you see why Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB’s quest for Biafra is very essential and divine. All these decades of marginalization and oppression against Biafra by the duo of the British cum Hausa/Fulani hegemony, one would think that perhaps, they will come to their right senses and at least, make things work right for the populace since Biafrans generally didn’t care who occupies the seat of power. The one that broke the camel’s back was the coming of the present regime whose only agenda unknown to the gullible ones, is suppression and Islamization.
The well-known fact, is that no other race in the world has traveled outside the shores of its lands and continent for economic survival than the Biafran populace. The exodus increased after the end of the Nigerian/Biafra war that would appear to have ended in January of 1970, but never really ended till this day, regardless of the deceptive declaration of “no victor no vanquished” slogan invented by British/Fulani hegemonists and trumpeted by Jack Yakubu Gowon and which was actually designed to fool unsuspecting on-lookers into thinking that all is well since they may not be privy to the fundamental problems facing the various ethnic nationalities in the zoological republic known as Nigeria. No other race can survive this kind of economic, cultural, social, religious and political disenfranchisement like the Biafrans did. The Biafrans have continued to demonstrate in every way possible, especially to the duo of Britain and their feudalistic Fulani associates, that they are the best nation builders; we have continued to show this till this day by investing in every nuke and cranny of the globe and not just in Nigeria.
While at the home front, the British-nominated managers of our commonwealth are busy siphoning our collective patrimony to build Dubai, Europe, and other areas, while the Biafrans are busy slaving in millions and repatriating all their hard earned money which is much more than half the yearly budget of the zoological republic of Nigeria, with the intention to build Nigeria, but to no avail. We have continued to believe that somehow, they would come to their senses and see us as being sincere and honestly desirous to make the Nigerian project work. But no, our sole effort to make Nigeria work will remain futile. They are not contented only in blocking and fraudulently ceasing all economic and political opportunities of the Biafrans, they have also fought to destroy our religious and socio-cultural life. This is the very reason why Chukwu Okike Abiama, the Almighty God, decided to send IPOB and its leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, for this task of emancipation.

The coming of IPOB and the Biafran leader to restore Biafra, is the call of Chukwu Okike, the Almighty God, it is a divine mandate and as such, no man can stop it. The time for emancipation has come, the end of subjugation, oppression and fraud is here, the end of the zoo has come. The Biafran leader has called out Nigeria to do the needful as he ably advocated during the previous administration under Goodluck Ebele Jonathan whom God used, to give Nigeria its last chance at building a workable country but which turned out to be futile. In the past, before the IT revolution, they have always believed albeit erroneously, that they would always set the narrative because of their control of the print media. However, that has been their own undoing, because their over bloated egotistical grandstanding has put a spanner in their cog! And so, that wheel has come to a crashing halt. What an irony of fate? Nothing lasts forever.
Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the lion of Biafra, have come, but the monumental fraud that is Nigeria and its handlers were too sullied in their game to see that the time is up for their savagery. We can’t wait forever for Nigeria to turn a new leaf as no one can give what they do not have. Time and again, the toothless giant has refused to grow up. I wonder why the blackman is stuck with this plague. Nevertheless, help is on its way. Chukwu Okike, the Almighty God has finally decided to lift Africa to rise to its true potentials. Just like in an unhappy marriage, divorce is what proves that forever is not what it used to be. Africa died at the fall of Biafra but Africa would rise at the return of Biafra. These are statements of fact. It’s continuing to unfold before our very eyes through the exploits of IPOB and the indefatigable Nnamdi Kanu, through the divine intervention of Chukwu Okike Abiama.
It’s remarkable that the British made the greatest mistake in Nigeria by the singular act of choosing the most backward race – Fulani, to hand Nigeria over to; rather than creating an equitable society that will guarantee justice and fairness for all, for assured progress and development. If Britain hadn’t displayed gross hatred for Biafrans by subjugating them in Nigeria, Biafra would have been a partner it can recon with especially now that it’s going through its worst times in Europe. Their only chance of survival now hinges on really coming clean with all its clandestine activities in Africa and elsewhere. If Britain fails to heed to this advice, then its survival in this new century Europe and by extension the world would be a herculean task. Britain has always feared Biafra. In its early years of contact with Biafrans, they have jealously marveled at how markedly and distinctively progressive the Biafrans are to other African races and that is the creed that Biafrans are yearning to uphold in their call for Biafran independence.
ALL HAIL BIAFRA!!!
