Our votes and Voters card has always been our problem, despite the fact that it is usually rigged, diverted and never counts in Nigeria's election. It has been our biggest mistake that needs immediate correction.
When we vote, we cannot complain of bad governance because we have by ourselves, indirectly vowed to remain calm and take whatever we see in the hands of unscrupulous political leaders. The act of voting is the act of signing and sealing your fate to whatever you might see or get afterwards.
Our votes for the political class in Nigeria, instead of enhancing our collective interests and bring about the needed change, tends to seal our fate to that of the politicians who treats their people as slaves and who abuses their right in correcting their ills in the society.

The saying by the Nigerian government and its political class that our votes is our right is a mere insincere statement for deluded minds because the voice of the people through their votes is always being undermined and subverted. However, it is true to the fact that if the masses understand that they can have total control over their mandate by withholding it and not going out to participate in the election anymore, the better their condition will become. If we collectively begin to boycott elections, they will come to understand that the people have taken total control of their future and cannot be fooled anymore.
We must continue boycotting Nigerian elections to make them know we are tired of the damning status quo that has caged our people for decades.When we vote in Nigeria, we make them see us as their slaves and political tools who do not know what is good for our people. We are wise now and have realized the evil aims and skirmishes of our heartless politicians who are only after their selfish interests. That is the reason we must disappoint them and refuse to vote again since they canot give us hope, safety, bright future and yet they are still seeking for our votes.

Biafra freedom is all we seek and not elections. Grant us right to referendum to entangle ourselves from the bondage of decades of forced union and unholy marriage in Nigeria.
