FOUNDING FATHERS FAULTS "ONE NIGERIA"... BUT NOW, ONE NIGERIA ON THE BLOOD OF BIAFRANS

BIAFRA
FOUNDING FATHERS FAULTS "ONE NIGERIA"...
BUT NOW, ONE NIGERIA ON THE BLOOD OF BIAFRANS

Nigeria is a country created by Fedrick Luggard, a British machinery and named by his girlfriend Flora Shaw. This name simply means a geographical area occupied by "nigers" or "black people". Incidentally, our surrounding neighbouring countries are as well black nations, so we all are "nigers" or blacks. Africa as a whole is a continent of black people, so Africa as a continent is a "niger" continent. So naming the three nations that made up the country Fedrick Lugard's girlfriend named "niger area" or "Nigeria" makes no meaning, because all other areas in Africa are "niger areas" too. And this is why the founding fathers, at various times made it clear that there is no basis of Nigeria's oneness. Hear them...

Chief Obafemi Awolowo (1947), 33 years after the Luggard/Flora cocktail was tested had this to say.... "Nigeria is not a nation. It is a mere geographical expression". This shows to what extent Chief Obafemi Awolowo understands the non-workability of the concoction. A nation is formed through an organic process and not by amalgamation. This is why he said that Nigeria is just a geographical expression and not a nation, therefore not a workable arithmetic. Another notable founding father has his own reservation to Lugard's creation. Hear him....

Just a year after Chief Obafemi Awolowo made his observation, in 1948, Sir, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa made his own observation thus.... "There are no Nigerians in the same sense as English, Welsh or French…" in other words, expressing the fact that, as  Chief Awolowo put a year earlier, "Nigeria is not a nation" as the Welsh or French" because, we are never a nation but "a mere geographical expression". He made it clear that "Nigeria’s unity is only a British invention". So what are we still doing together as a country 68 years later?

These two notable founding fathers observed the non-workability of the concoction called Nigeria. Now when all these forerunners' observations of the non-workability of the Nigeria nation were not taken into consideration and have the concoction disbanded, the country was finally granted a flag independence in 1960, and Sir, Ahmadu Bello (1960) positioned the new country now as their forefather's estate.
Hear him,...."the new nation called Nigeria should be an estate of our grandfather, Uthman Dan Fodio. We must ruthlessly prevent a change of power. We use the minorities in the North (he recognised that the North is in the minority), as willing tools and the South as a conquered territory and never allow them to rule over us and never allow them to have control over their future. So the idea of this country in the mind of the Northern politicians is that this country belongs to them and that they are born to rule, by force and subjugation and bloodshed. How soon shall our people know this? So at any point when an Hausa-Fulani is not the Head of state or President, the average Hausa politician sees it as an abnormality. Is this how a country should be?

The next person to lend his disdain over the formation of this time bomb is Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe (1964). Hear him..... "The Nigerian idea still remains a lie. It is either we make a conscious effort to let it be true by constructing a ‘salad bowl’ country or let each group migrate into its own civilization". God spoke to the founding fathers of this country that the country is not supposed to have been formed in the first place, but all those He spoke to refused to do something about it. Zik said the idea of bringing Arewa, Oduduwa, and Biafra together as a country is a lie....adding...it is either we make a conscious effort to let it be true by constructing a ‘salad bowl’ country.... "A Salad bowl" contains various ingredients that are all "raw" but in our imagination we accept it as a delicious menu, with all its sour taste. Zik continued....if we could not make the salad bowl, ...."let each group migrate into its own civilization". I ask again, why did they not move for the disintegration of the country after realising it is not workable.?

The last but not the least, General Yakubu Gowan, (1966). Gowon said, "there is no basis for Nigerian unity which has been so badly rocked not only once but several times". Is this observation not enough reason for Nigeria's disintegration? But No, it did not happen.

After all these observations of our founding fathers that there is no basis for Nigeria unity, why is now a slogan that "unity of Nigeria is non-negotiable". What is it that has changed since 1948.

We agree with Chief Obafemi Awolowo that "Nigeria is not a nation. It is a mere geographical expression". Yes because, there is no common culture, ideology, religion and value system in Nigeria. How can you co-exist and relate with people whose religion and culture prescribe different punishment for the same offense and whose ideology present a very wide gap between the other people? There is no homogeneity in anything. How can you co-exist in same geographical space?

Sir, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa said, "there are no Nigerians in the same sense as English, Welsh or French…" Yes, the Welsh, are one people, same culture, religion, and value system. The English have same religion, culture and value system and same is the French. But What about Nigeria? The religion of the North is different with that of the south and West. The culture of the North is different from the one of the South and West. And their value system quite miles apart. How true can one be when Sir, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa said: "there are no Nigerians in the same sense as English, Welsh or French…".

With all these pre-independence and post-independence observations of our elder statesmen as to the non-workability of the Lugard concoction, why did they continue to patch it up till date? Now, in furtherance of the northern subjugation agenda, the north has continued to sustain the existence of this evil entity with the blood of Biafrans. But that has got to stop

If the founding fathers would make the observation that the country Nigeria shouldn't have been born in the first place, the recent utterances of  Gen. Sam Momah, former minister of Science and Technology who as a matter of fact is an apologist of Gen. Buhari, should be taken with a pinch of salt because it lacks all ingredients of knowledge.

Ochereome Nnanna, a veteran columnist and Igbo defender believes in the struggle of the Biafrans but does not wish for a repeat of 1967-70 episode. This is like trying to make an omelette without breaking an egg. We are yet to come up with the technology that will give us that in the present Nigeria entity whose sustenance must be in the blood of Biafrans.

Now the final onslaught is set, to unleash the next genocide on the Biafrans having put the entire Biafra land under siege with armed to the teeth Boko haram soldier waiting for Buhari's command.

We are therefore putting the entire world on alert as to the plans of General Mohammadu Buhari against Biafrans. He has broken all known laws in Nigeria and international. He has broken all human right laws known to man. He has corrupted the judiciary, the legislature, and the executive. He has made it mandatory to the judges at the high courts in Nigeria to subvert the course of justice just to achieve his personal desires, just as he abducted the leader of the indigenous people of Biafra and director of radio Biafra London, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, detained hum unlawfully, tortured him with his DSS, denied him bail unlawfully, and defied court orders and moved to murder him in Kuje prison with his DSS, but for the timely intervention of the prison guards.

Nigeria is a lawless state and Biafrans want nothing but an independent referendum to
go out peacefully from the entity called Nigeria.
