Now, after seeing the actual definitions of the word terrorism, it is rather ridiculous to learn that the ignorant Nigerian DSS would think of or even tag Biafrans a terrorist group. IPOB is simply an acronym for the Indigenous People of Biafra and by extension, Biafrans, whose Nation is Biafra. What a mockery and a shame to the Nigerian DSS. Tagging the Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB), a terrorist group, is like trying to deceive the entire world, that book haram is a group of peacemakers. How laughable can a country and its security agents (DSS) be?
The recent senseless DSS statement read as follows, "In another development, the Service has uncovered the heinous role played by members of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), in the abduction/kidnap of five Hausa-Fulani residents, namely Mohammed GAINAKO, Ibrahim MOHAMMED, Idris YAKUBU, and Isa Mohammed RAGO at Isuikwuato LGA in Abia State. The abducted men were later discovered at the Umuanyi forest, Abia State, where they were suspected to have been killed by their abductors and buried in shallow graves, amidst fifty (50) other shallow graves of unidentified persons. Arrest and investigation conducted so far, revealed that elements within the IPOB, carried out this dastardly action. It is pertinent therefore to alert the general public that IPOB, is gradually showing its true divisive colour and objectives, while steadily embarking on gruesome actions in a bid to ignite ethnic terrorism and mistrust amongst non-indigenes in the South-East region and other parts of the country. Following this act, tension is currently rife among communal stakeholders in the State with possibilities of spillover to other parts of country. Against the foregoing, the Service will not hesitate to act decisively within its statutory mandate to ensure that the sponsors and perpetrators of this action are apprehended and prosecuted for their crime. Accordingly, law-abiding citizens are enjoined to go about their civil duties and businesses freely, as efforts are being intensified by security agencies to maintain law and order in the State and across the Federation."

Firstly, the only radical Islamists (terrorists) who have always committed war crimes and crimes against humanity in Nigeria and in Biafra are Boko Haram terrorists, Hausa/Fulani herdsmen, the DSS itself and other Nigerian Armed Forces. These are completely state sanctioned terrorists, are very active in Nigeria and are trying to provoke a religious war between the Christians (Biafrans) and the Muslim components of the country. I would like to remind the ignorant and devious liars – the DSS, of how the Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) have continued to die on daily basis, in their hands and in the hands of other security operatives through torture, unlawful incarceration, secret murder and other extra-judicial killings to which President Buhari is instrumental.
Over 5 million Biafrans lost their lives during 1967 to 1970 when the Nigerian state committed a gruesome genocide on Biafra. On the 30th of August 2015, a combined force of Nigeria’s Islamic Police and Army, slaughtered numerous Biafrans at Onitsha, Anambra state. On the 18th of January 2016, Biafrans who were peacefully rejoicing over the rulings of the court - to discharge and acquit Kanu, were shot dead in cold blood by another combined force of the Islamic Police and Army, a ruling which the DSS has up until today refused to obey. On the 9th of February 2016, Biafrans who gathered at a high school in Aba for prayer sessions were surrounded and gunned down in cold blood, some were dragged away and were later found dead in a burrow pit. In Anambra state, Biafrans are being intimidated, robbed, killed and dumped in mass graves by the Nigerian Armed Forces (terrorists). In the northern and some western parts of the country, properties and market stalls belonging to Biafrans are constantly being set ablaze, bombed and demolished
How therefore, can the DSS shamelessly display such stupidity as to try to deceive the world that Biafrans are the terrorists, when in fact, Biafrans are known to be the innocent, peaceful endangered people? It should be noted once again that IPOB stands for Indigenous People of Biafra. It is neither a group nor an organization, rather it is a collection of all the Indigenes of Biafra worldwide. The Indigenous people of Biafra are not violent, have never been violent and therefore cannot be said to have killed any inconsequential 5 Hausa/Fulani people.
It should also be noted that indigenous Biafrans who are Christians, are the ones being targeted by the DSS and the Nigerian Armed forces, who are comprised mostly of radically Islamic elements. The world must know that these lies being peddled by the DSS, is simply a way to divert attentions from the kidnappings, torture, extra-judicial incarcerations, killings and other kinds of atrocities being meted out against Biafrans. The Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB), are the ones who were declared by Amnesty International UK and Italy, as being terrorized and killed by the Nigerian DSS, Police and the Army, and not some savagery Hausa/Fulani men who go about slaughtering people at will without apprehension.
The world must also know that the murderous Nigerian DSS can never be relied upon as they have also designed this plot as a tool with which to influence the decision of any judge that may be handling the up-coming appeal on Kanu’s case. They would do anything to undermine the current Biafra restoration quest. It is remarkable to note the many contradictions in this bogus statement by the DSS. The most glaring being that the DSS said they “suspect” and “think” – meaning that proper investigations have not been carried, and yet they state that the alleged 5 Hausa/Fulani were killed by IPOB members. This is only a proof that the DSS is simply fabricating lies in order to undermine the Biafra quest and to incite ethnic-motivated violence against Biafrans in all parts of the country.
One question that springs to mind is, how can the DSS make such a delicate claim without a single fact? How shameless can the said agency be if it stupidly makes claims, just to jeopardize the Biafra restoration quest? These ridiculous statements only shows the DSS’ desperation to intimidate and cajole judges into miscarriage of justice. The point to be noted is that the DSS realizes that Kanu’s appeal is up-coming and that they are likely to lose, so they resorted to concocting all manner of junks to justify their continued brutality and incarceration of Biafrans. The international community is hereby implored to take note of these recklessness by Nigeria and its security agencies and to as a matter of urgency, call it to order.
