If the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) were murderers like the state-sanctioned terrorists in the guise of the Nigerian armed forces, they would have retaliated the numerous killings of unarmed Biafran protesters who have been mowed down for demanding their fundamental rights to freedom and self-determination from an outdated and unfavorable union - Nigeria.
When a combined force of the police and the army rounded up Biafrans who were praying at a national high school, Aba, slaughtered them and over forty, abducted, many of whose corpses are still been discovered in pits, morgues, and other strange places, there was no condemnation from any quarter. When the armed forces go about, harassing and apprehending innocent people, including shooting and killing them at sight, including women and children. The Nigerian government never does anything to curb the menace nor arrests anyone for the atrocities.
Emergency rules were halted in the terrorized parts of the north, roadblocks and military check-points were dismantled, thereby giving boko haram and Fulani herdsmen the free gateway to commit their mayhem, while the whole of Biafra was flooded with uniformed terrorists – the armed forces, to place Biafrans under siege, to maim and slaughter them if they ever protested for Biafra.

The Buhari-led administration has vowed to exterminate Biafrans, rather than accord them freedom and self-determination. What is the crime of Biafrans? Why has the government not arrested Shekau who is the ring leader of boko haram? Why has the government not freed the Chibok girls up until now? Has Nnamdi Kanu killed anyone or was he caught with arms? No single murdered Biafran was ever caught with arms nor has ever killed anyone. Yet, the Nigerian government continues to massacre Biafrans in their hundreds. Since the Fulani president assumed office, Fulani herdsmen have murdered thousands of people, yet none of them have been apprehended and the Buhari-led government fails to curb their gruesome and atrocious acts.
It is easy for the DSS to accuse the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) for atrocities carried out by their own forces to gain cheap publicity and to influence the out-come of the up-coming appeal on the case of Kanu, where the incompetent and compromised Justice Tsoho, who is currently presiding has become completely confused.
The Nigerian Police and Army are the ones who carry out all the murderous acts in Biafra land. The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has no business with Fulani herdsmen. The DSS is only attempting to use the evidence of the atrocities committed against Biafrans in Aba, by the Nigerian armed forces against the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), in order to undermine Biafra’s quest for freedom and self-determination.
The plot by the DSS to use lies and negative propaganda, to jeopardize the chances of a favourable outcome on Kanu’s case, is absolutely dead on arrival because it has no single evidence to support the allegation, hence has failed woefully.
If they are reasonable enough, they would realize that there’s no amount of pressure that can break Biafrans. The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has overwhelming evidences to confirm all their nefarious acts against Biafrans and to confirm that the DSS in itself, is capable of committing the atrocities it is desperately trying to frame IPOB for.
IPOB simply means Indigenous People of Biafra, hence the indigenes of the Biafran nation. We are peacefully demanding our rights to freedom and self-determination and we are not in any way, terrorists. The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) are not political aspirants but indigenes of Biafra who are asking to be released from a fraudulent union forcibly created by the British colonial regime. Biafrans have suffered great losses but have never retaliated. The DSS needs to be put in a scrupulous check, to stop its cheap and negative propaganda.
