ABUJA:
UK GOVERNMENT'S DEAFENING SILENCE.....CONSENTS BUHARI TO KILL BRITISH CITIZEN, NNAMDI KANU.

The numerous questions IPOB and Biafrans are asking with regard to IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu's arrest, is " What is UK government doing to safeguard their Citizen Nnamdi Kanu? What has UK government done to protect him from harm since the arrest by Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari and his DSS?".
Now let's analyse Nnamdi Kanu's case:
IPOB Leader and Director of Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, who is a British citizen, was arrested on 14/10/2015, by Nigerian DSS (Department of State Service) with unfounded and nonsensical Terrorism Charges and treasonable Felony.
INTERNATIONAL LAW CONSULAR PROTECTION :
International Law Consular protection refers to the support and assistance provided by consulates to their nationals abroad. The 1963 Vienna Convention on Consular Relations (Vienna Convention) regulates the rights, duties and privileges of consulates and their officials. For foreign nationals detained abroad, the source of consular protection is found in Articles 5 and 36. Article 5 outlines broad, general consular functions, including those relevant to imprisoned or detained nationals. Article 36 codifies some of the key rights, which developed in customary international law, included the right of consuls to communicate with and assist their detained nationals, and the rights of the detained or imprisoned nationals themselves. Previously a number of cases have been brought before international courts or tribunals for violations of consular rights, when diplomatic or domestic legal remedies have proven ineffectual. From these it has been clearly established that Article 36 confers rights not only on consular officers but also on the detained individuals. The International Court of Justice recognised that:
“Violations of the rights of the individual under article 36 may entail a violation of the rights of the sending State, and … violations of the rights of the later may entail a violation of the rights of the individual.”
Consequently, consular rights do not belong exclusively to governments; they also involve the nationals themselves. This means that is Nnamdi Kanu's right to seek intervention from his country, the UK government, and that the UK government right to be informed when their national has been detained, so they can give Consular assistance.
DAVID CAMERON

Nigeria President, Muhammadu Buhari and his DSS , has highly violated this right by not informing UK Government, that they've arrested a UK national (Nnamdi Kanu). Nigeria has also breach other international law norms such as its treaty obligations under the Vienna Convention.
UK government came to know about Kanu's arrested only after weeks, when IPOB have revealed the arrest to them. The British Consular officials only visited Mr Kanu once, since his arrest, which is not fair, because Mr Kanu has been tortured in all manners of ways imaginable, and UK didn't investigated on his well being.
TORTURING OF NNAMDI KANU BY NIGERIA DSS & UK SILENT CONSENT :
In the context of torture, the national, Mr Kanu be seeking to have consular officials (UK government ) do everything possible to prevent torture from being inflicted at all, to get the local authorities to cease the torture, as well as to help the national (Mr Kanu) with access to local lawyers and doctors, and to communicate with family or friends. UK consular officials will be expected to take an urgent and proactive approach in the foreign State (Nigeria). As events unfold, UK consular officials will be informing the UK Government of developments, and ‘diplomatic pressure’ may be exerted on the foreign State (Nigeria) as well.
Nnamdi kanu has not been the same man since he's being arrested. Mr Kanu appeared pale, emaciated and malnourished. He did not even have the strength to speak. He had wounds of abuse throughout his body. He is in Pains. Mr Kanu has been tortured in all manner of evil ways thinkable, by the Nigerian DSS. They beat him, they flogged him heavily, they've torture him. DSS has been making Mr Kanu sleep on bare floor for 3 months! DSS forced Mr Kanu to eat and drink what he doesn't want to eat and drink! Now Nnamdi Kanu has fallen sick.
Upon all these British Government is doing absolutely NOTHING. Why? Is Nnamdi Kanu not a British national? Doesn't he have the same right for Consular assistance and Protection from British Government? Why is UK so silent on Kanu's case and torturing?
UK government MUST have Nnamdi Kanu examined medically, and failure to obtain an independent medical examination the fundamental importance of a torture victim being properly examined and treated by a competent and independent medical expert as soon as possible after torture has been inflicted, cannot be over-emphasized. Once more, this is almost invariably a basic issue for both British consulate and Mr Kanu's lawyer to deal with, and they ought to work together using all the mechanisms best suited to their respective roles to facilitate such an examination. Not only can such an examination reveal and record evidence of the torture and brutality, but it can go towards preventing further maltreatment of Mr Kanu by Nigeria DSS , and even play a role in lessening the practice generally; most importantly of all, of course, the independent doctor will have an opportunity to treat and relieve some of the suffering being endured as a consequence of the torture.
Despite all this International Law and UK obligation Law towards their national detainee, despite the fact that Nigerian President Buhari still holds Mr Kanu after 4 previous court orders to release him immediately and unconditionally, yet British Government keeps silence on Mr Kanu's case. Why? Is UK Government silent, a way to revenge and teach Mr Kanu a lesson, for just saying the truth on how British created the contraption called Nigeria (Niger-Area), and supported Nigeria in killing 3 millions of Biafrans, during the Biafran War?
What crime did Nnamdi Kanu commit? What attempt of terrorism has he ever done? Since when has a freedom fighter become terrorist or Criminal? Since when has a President of a Country been allowed to disobey court orders and go free? Since when does killing of innocent peacefully and unarmed Biafrans protesters, by Nigerian Army Navy and police becomes an every day activityconstitutional? Since when did seeking, peacefully, a Self-Determination for its country become illegal?  Nnamdi kanu is a Prisoner of Conscience and he is innocent yet still detained extra judicially in Nigeria.
It's High time the UK government seriously intervene, protect and rescue their Citizen, Nnamdi Kanu, before he dies in the hands of President Buhari and his DSS, from torture and malnutrition. If Nnamdi Kanu dies in detention, David Cameron and the British government is accomplice

FREE NNAMDI KANU NOW.

Help Nnamdi Kanu and save his life. He has a newly born baby whom he has not seen nor touched nor heard the cry. For the sake of this newly born baby, act very fast please. I see Nigeria as a lawless country and also facilitate the independence of Biafra.I see no big deal in it. David Cameron you are bent on breaking away from EU, so why can't you do same for your colonised areas?

  4. NNAMDI's life is in the hands of his Creator, there's nothing man can do unless approved by the Creator. I believe he will come out when and however Heaven plans it.
