In the annals of freedom fighting in the British contraption, the Nigerian government has always had the upper hand. This is uniquely because they always play all the venomous cards in the colonial bag hung round their necks. It will be almost impossible for anyone walking the freedom terrain to achieve victory because of a plethora of conditions rooted in external interest watered by the United States of America through their proxy — the United Kingdom.

The UK has a way of bending people’s wills; anybody’s will. Interestingly, when it comes down to making Africans fall in line, the most potent elixir has always been the scrambling use of brutal local assistants. In case you have forgotten, as the superior firing power of den guns forced the Ekumeku warriors to withdraw into the shadows and retreat, the UK activated warrant chiefs.
