Biafra: A Call For UN, World Leaders, Others To End Human Rights Violations Against Biafrans

December 11, 2016

The world cannot continue to maintain silence while atrocities on daily bases, are going on in Nigeria, people are being unlawfully arrested, detained and raped to death in Nigeria at the behest of President Buhari. Right to freedom of expression is now being considered as committing ‘felony’ in a so-called democratic dispensation and yet the world is keeping a blind eye to these injustices going on in Nigeria.

When information passed across about the unlawful detention of a woman and her child for demanding the release of Nnamdi Kanu, the world maintained deafening silence against this injustice. it is against the law in Nigeria and also against the treaty entered by Nigeria and the United Nations in the protection and safeguarding of human rights.

We wonder if we are in a military regime or in a democratic dispensation for a mother and her child to be in detention over a year now, when we have human rights bodies whose obligation is to fight for injustices such as this. We cannot fold our arms and watch a little child and his mother pass through a horrible situation and their rights been deprived from them.

The Nigerian security operatives has a whole lot of explanations to do as to what crime a woman and her tender child have committed against Nigeria to warrant such dehumanization.

Justice in Nigerian Judiciary, As Truth Is Removed From Courtrooms

Her only crime was protesting for her freedom and that of the detained leader of IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, as contained in the UN Charter which Nigeria is signatory to. It is time for the UN to begin to live up to its expectations, for it is things like this that breeds war.

IPOB is urging the UN and world leaders to act against these numerous atrocities and injustices against the little child, her mother and others facing similar treatments in Nigeria and condemn the incessant abuse of the rule of law, arbitrary arrests and detention without trial in Nigeria

The world should know that when tyranny becomes law, injustice becomes a tradition, which is now prevalent in Nigeria against the defenceless people.

  2. Unity is not by force, Nigeria is a land of injustice, evil and intimidation. Biafrans have every right to go there seperate way. There is no unity in Nigeria. Killing of Biafrans has become a normal thing in Nigeria, Hundreds and Thousands of unarmed Biafrans has been killed in Nigeria while thousands of innocent Biafrans are ilegally detained in verious prisons in Nigeria. UN should please look into what is happening in Nigeria. U.N. should please wake up and come to the aid of Biafrans in Nigeria. U.N. should please give the Peaceful Biafrans an opportunity for REFERENDUM...#FREENNAMDIKANU #FREEBIAFRANS. UNITY BY FORCE IS SLAVERY
