NNAMDI KANU: A LEADER ABOVE COMPROMISE EVEN IN THE FACE OF DEATH

Nnamdi Kanu is a leader with  focus and purpose, a rare gem that cannot be bought with riches nor compromised by threats. He is tied to his fate, to set loose the victims bound with Nigeria’s shackles of evil and iniquity. Jesus had similar fate to set the captives free and he never desisted from his mission. As Jesus accepted to carry the cross, so has Director accepted to carry the Biafran cross. This uncompromising hero can only be the architect of the new Biafran foundation. Like Zerrubabel rebuilt Jerusalem, he has rebuilt the fallen Biafra.

Since her walls collapsed 1967-70, no one has retained her history, even in the educational system, she was completely erased. She was completely removed from Nigerian map and story books. The Bight of Biafra became bight of Bonny/Benin.   All along, we were misinformed but thank goodness, history always has a way of vindicating the just. Kanu dug into History and unfolded mysteries that turned the legacy and destiny of Biafra around. For years he sojourned like the biblical disciples, preaching the gospel of the restoration of Biafra.

From one country to the other, followers increased which confirmed certainly, that the appointed time had come. In 2006 He established and registered a radio station – Radio Biafra London. He went on, preaching Biafra to the people, he brought their history and legacy to focus and immersed Biafrans and anyone who tuned into the radio station with absolute truth. By his efforts, awareness speedily spread around Biafra, hence the slogan – Biafra or Death.   Kanu is a leader who cannot compromise his handwork. He cannot burn the bridge he has built.

Compromise will be like creating a gore in the foundation he has built and that is an evidence of dignity, discipline, determination and steadfastness. A true Biafran hero never stoops so low to betray his handwork nor his kinsmen. It is very rare to see a man who is ready to lay down his life for his nation. Biafra is blessed and chosen of the Almighty. Since the 14th of October, 2015 till date, he has been brutally manhandled. While in the DSS custody, he was chained on both hands and legs even without being convicted.

Even at Kuje prison, DSS would often invade his cell and assault him physically. He has been made to suffer all kinds of terrible brutalities. Yet, he has refused offers of oil wells, political positions, as well as bribes. He does not want anything short of Biafra. This is our leader's resolve. When we eventually march majestically into our nation, it will be splendid and with a leader like Kanu, the love for our nation will be made paramount in every heart. Kanu is a rare breed, no African leader can willingly accept to suffer or die for their nation.

It’s simply Biafra or nothing, we all hail Biafra and these will never cease to be our song, now and always. Nnamdi Kanu has become the hero for all times. Our hearts are with him as we pledge solemnly that through it all, we will never forget this great sacrifice that he has made for Biafra and Biafrans.

  1. Great piece indeed! Nnamdi Kanu is a prophetic leader in the likes of Moses, Joshua, etc. In fact, he's our Joshua - he will lead us into the Promised Land. He's a great man, a man of honor and history.

  2. This fate and the courage of Mr Nnamdi Kanu has shown that there are still courageous, incorruptible and trust-able people from Africa...and not even to talk about a country as corrupt as Nigeria.
I salute his courage and obedient to his people, the Biafrans, which i have read a lot about them, both their war with Nigeria and other evil rendered to them by the Nigerian government. I pray and hope that their dream and quest for their freedom comes quickly and sooner. Mr Kanu should keep on the good fate because, he is a grate man and his faith shall not be in vain.
