Biafra: Tears As "Operation Python Dance" Victim Goes Home Today

ANAMBRA - An IPOB activist identified as Joel Ifechukwu Agbayisi will be laid to rest today in the bosom of our Lord in his hometown in Anambra State.

Ifechukwu Agbayasi, a native of Umuadojiri Umuarugwu Uzoakwa in Ihiala Local Government Area of the State was one of the victims of the military operations launched in the South-East earlier in September.

The young and energetic Biafra activist was a hardcore and a fanatical Biafra agitator until his untimely death.

Up until his demise, Agbayasi produces and sells Biafran materials such as caps, belts hand fans, and other items inscribed with Biafra insignias.

This young man who is now lying lifelessly due to the act of brutality meted on him by agents of the Nigeria Army during Operation Python Dance, was victimized when the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, called on our people to storm his hometown at Afaraukwu Ibeku in Umuahia, when soldiers invaded his house on the 14th of September, 2017.

He was among the people that the Nigerian military tortured and forced to drink and lay on the muddy water along Umuahia/Aba/Portharcourt express road.

Unfortunately for him, he was asked to remove his Biafra attire which he bluntly and fearlessly declined and stood his ground. According to verified reports, Agbayasi, even told the military that he would never remove it because it belongs to him, and so, he was shot dead at that spot.

Left behind to mourn him, are his wife and three kids, including his close relations and associates. The Great IPOB family will also not forget his sacrifices in gallantly defending his homeland. Biafrans all over the world will forever miss this great icon and activist. And until we meet to part no more, may his humble soul rest in peace. Jee Nke Oma! Iseee!
