The much expected Biafra great rally held all over the world in protest of the continued detention of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra - IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, was a huge success. The prudent Biafrans who applied sophisticated tactics on the incompetent Nigerian military and police whose only solution to the agitation is to kill and maim, adopted a sit-at-home method that was widely complied with - across the entire length and breadth of Biafraland.
It was a massive adherence as people from the remote and urban areas deserted their shops, schools, hotels, hospitals, public and private duties in compliance with the sit-at-home order. By this single act, the masses of Biafra have not only demonstrated their allegiance to Biafra restoration in the spirit of Democracy where the will of the people prevails; but has as well shown direct disobedience to the intimidations of the Nigerian government who has used all types of force on them including arbitrary arrests, tortures, killings and incarcerations as witnessed in Enugu at the eve of the historic rally, where 12 IPOB activists were unlawfully arrested through the aid of a market Chairman, who cared less about the future of his unborn children.
While the sit-at-home protest stultified Nigerian government, and rubbished the police and army's intense desire to kill more Biafrans, the global rally became the thunderbolt that rocked the foundation of Nigeria's rogue administration in the face of the entire world. Through this rally, the nakedness of Nigeria fragrant disobedience to the rule of law and court order has been exposed to the entire world.

The world has seen that Nigeria is not only rotten but also very oppressive and does not respect human rights. If she does, why still keep Nnamdi Kanu in prison till date when competent Courts granted him bail that were met? If Nigeria respected human rights, why did the police in Enugu arrest IPOB activists because they were campaigning for a sit-at-home?
If Nigeria respected human rights, why has it chosen to fight against those demanding for the restoration of Biafra in a most peaceful manner? In all this, Nigeria has shown intolerance, anger, rage, and more desire and readiness to kill Biafrans. This is against the fact that Nigeria expired from being a British enclave since 2014! Does Nigeria government think we have no right to determine our future? Do they think no body has right to question the expiration of Nigeria? What is Buhari's basis for fighting Biafra restoration? Is he fighting us on the ground that we are slaves and have no right to demand for self-determination? Why is he nervous about Biafra?
These are irresistible questions that this world rally and the sit-at-home protest demand immediate and earnest answers to. Those who hate oppression have seen that Nigeria is the citadel of oppressions. Those who hate slavery have now seen that Nigeria is the mother of all forms of slavery. With this world wide protests and the sit-at-home, we have sent our message sound and clear that we have our rights to be.

Our leader should be released without further delay to discuss with Nigeria the terms for our separate ways. We have been in the unholy Union for over a century and its results have always been pogroms, ethnic cleansing, hatred, war, and hostilities. Muhammad Buhari's government since its inception clearly demonstrated this. In one occasion he admitted that he killed Biafrans to keep Nigeria one. But the question he has not given answer to is, are those things that caused Biafra secession not still happening in Nigeria even more than five decades?
There is long litany of pogroms in various places of the North including the killing of pregnant women and kicking their foetuses. Records of church bombings and killings abound. We certainly can not afford to continue with this type of people. As the rally comes to an end with its achieved results, it is expected that those who love Buhari should speak sense into him to release Nnamdi Kanu and recognise the restoration of Biafra.
