THE MINISTER IN THE TEMPLE OF JUSTICE ALLOWED HIMSELF TO BE COMPROMISED

THE MINISTER IN THE TEMPLE OF JUSTICE ALLOWED HIMSELF TO BE COMPROMISED

John Tsoho
It is true that everything in Nigeria is upside down and it is quite disappointing that Nigeria is providing evidence to its decadence in everyday life.

The Nigeria we know has been infested by corruption and it is saddening that crime and prejudice have eaten into the fabrics of Nigeria. This same disease of corruption and prejudice have affected everyone in Nigeria and most awfully is the fact that the disease has infested the judicial system in more negative ways. Looking closely into the drama displayed by Justice John Tsoho, who is currently presiding over the case of Nnamdi Kanu, despite the rulings of the previous Judges to release Kanu, one would see the evidence of the prejudice inherent in the Nigerian judicial system. And the inability of the prosecutor to provide a valid witness to testify against Kanu has made it absolutely clear that Nigeria has no regards for the rule of law.

On the 19th of February during his ruling, Justice Tsoho rejected the laughable idea to allow the witness to be masked while testifying against the innocent Nnamdi Kanu, because it is absurd to have a witness under a mask, given the circumstances. But to the bewilderment of the entire world, the same John Tsoho on monday, the 7th of March proved to the whole world his compromised state by overturning his own ruling. According to a biblical proverb, “when salt loses its taste, it will be despised because it is no longer useful and hence will be thrown into the garbage". It is so unfortunate that a judge who should be a minister in the temple of justice would allowed himself to be compromised by the forces of corruption. It is most amazing that Honourable John Tsoho has returned to his own vomit and has decided to make a reversal on his own judgment without any reasonable course or appeal from the prosecution. He has despised justice and hence cannot be valued by integrity.
