JOHN TSOHO'S INCONSISTENT RULING: THE PUPPET JUDGE WHO METAMORPHOSED TO A CHIEF PROSECUTOR

Wonders they say shall never cease. When the president of a democratic country considers himself above the law, when the rule of law is placed below the President, when court orders are not obeyed by the President, the people living in such country should look forward to experiencing a state of anarchy and lawlessness. There are three arms of government in every democratic setting. We have the executive, the legislature and the judiciary. These arms of government function independently without interference from the executive or the President as the case may be. That is the universal law. But in Nigeria, under President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government, the reverse is the case.

During the previous administration of president Goodluck Jonathan, the judiciary operated under great level of independence. But with the emergence of a tyrant, genocidist and a dictator, everything drastically changed. Buhari started his intimidation on the judiciary by telling them publicly that he will try and jail Judges because they are corrupt, he also made it clear to them that the only person who can determine who is corrupt or guilty is himself and not the Judiciary, he singlehandedly usurped and hijacked the role of the judiciary. He continually interferred in the discharge of justice, by ordering his foot soldiers the DSS to flout every court orders not suitable by him, starting from the judgement given by few courageous Judges such as Justice Ademola Adeniyi and Shaibu Usman.

By this very act, which follows the threat of jailing Judges, it is now crystal clear that the judiciary has become a puppet in the hands of the puppet master, the Nigerian president Muhammadu Buhari.
Muhammadu Buhari,with the judiciary as his puppet, his will is now the new law, the script of every trial is now written down and handed over to respective Judges who has been mandated to act the
script. Every judge under Buhari's autocratic government must act the very script written by him, their judgements must be in consonance with his order.
Justice John Tsoho, an extremist with similar belief with that of Ahmadu Bello, was among the Judges who received their 'trial script'. Justice John Tsoho who was bias before now according to his previous rulings, started the preamble of his trial script against Mr. Nnamdi Kanu by denying the innocent leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB)  bail. Although the bail denial was against the constitution of the Nigerian government, but it still does not mean anything to them as Buhari's new law(script) must be executed by all means.

The compromised Judge continued his show of shame, which climaxed during the previous court hearing on Monday 7th March 2016, when he, instead of been an impartial and neutral Judge, dramatically metamorphosed into the chief Prosecutor. It seems that even upon reading from the evil trial script as directed by the tyrant, the Indigenous People of Biafra are winning the case.
Due to the courage, boldness, resoluteness and wisdom of the Leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu and the brilliant disposition of his legal team led by Chuks Muoma (SAN), in conjunction with the support of IPOB world wide and those who came in solidarity to hear the proceedings of the court, the puppet Judge began to lose composure, like a drowning man begging for rescue.

To curry favour from President Buhari, Justice John Tsoho dramatically metamorphosed into the Chief Prosecutor, reversing his previous rulings against a secret trial and masquerade witnesses, citing a separate existing Ivorian civil law, which has nothing to do with Nigerian common law.
If we have Justice John Tsoho who with a trial script in his hand, now the Chief Prosecutor instead of the judge, then IPOB world wide must through our legal team led by Chuks Muoma SAN, let him know that we are aware of his compromised status. He must understand that we are aware that he is bias and playing the role of a Prosecutor, instead of a Judge and thus have lost the confidence reposed on him in trying the Biafra leader. If he fails to retrace his compromised stance, then he must withdraw himself from the case, otherwise IPOB will continue to file appeal against his rulings.
