"Sai Buhari", Boko Haram terrorist’s attacks expected after threat letters in Sabon Gari Market

Local vigilante in Sabon Gari village of Damboa local government area of Borno State have raised the alarm over fresh threat letter from the Boko Haram insurgents.

The letter, which are calling on the villagers to join force with the insurgents to fight ‘Holy War’ against ‘Infidels’ or face more attacks, was found at the scene of the explosion that killed over 50 people on a Market day on Tuesday at Sabon Gari.

A local vigilante Wakil Modu told journalists that the threat letter purportedly written in ‘Hausa’ by the Islamic sect, Boko Haram also said that Abubakar Shekau, leader of the sect group is well, and urged the people that “fighting the cause of Allah is a holy business, which all who believe must wake up to join for the blessing of hereafter”.
According to him, they (vigilante) have reported several times for action to be taken particularly at ‘Talala’ and ‘Ajigil’ area of Damboa local government, believed to be housing Boko Haram members.

“Last week, a Fulani man brought a report, which said that he saw Boko Haram with sophisticated weapons and a tanker. When he told us we went and reported but nothing happened. On the attack at the market, we are still calling on government to do something because this is the third time the market is being attacked; although, this is the worst attack so far”, Wakil said.
