IPOB maintains that insecurity in Biafra Land is Nigeria State sponsored.</p><p><br /></p><p>We are calling on the international community to please ask the IMO state Governor Hope Uzodinma and ex Attorney General, Abubakar Malami, and the Nigerian government who are those responsible for the IMO state prison break in 2020. Governor Hope Uzodinma and the then Nigerian attorney general Malam Abubakar Malami SAN and their cohorts who were behind the jail break in Owerri and must tell us who are responsible for the prison break operation that lasted for more than 4 hours unchallenged in the middle of the state Police headquarters, Obinze Army barracks, and DSS State headquarters in Imo State and other security agencies.</p><p><br /></p><p>According to the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) report of 2016, the South East region was named the most humanly secure geopolitical zone in Nigeria. South East or Biafra has been the epicenter for IPOB peaceful rallies in Nigeria since 2010. IPOB has never recorded any form of violence in all the crowded peaceful rallies we have held all over the world. However, when the ethnic bigot Muhammadu Buhari and his Fulani cabal took over the Nigeria government in 2016, they applied several brutal forces to stop IPOB's peaceful rallies for Biafra's self determination. </p><p><br /><!--adsense--></p><p>In the process, a lot of IPOB members were murdered in cold blood during peaceful rallies by the murderous Nigeria Security Forces. Until day, many abducted IPOB members who were forcefully disappeared have not been found. Some IPOB members were permanently deformed by bullets, injuries, acid, and chemicals and tortures by the notorious Nigerian Security Forces. Irrespective of all these provocations, IPOB remains undoubtedly strong and peaceful. Globally, in over 100 countries where IPOB is permitted to operate, including in Nigeria, no IPOB member has ever been convicted for any crime while performing IPOB functions. </p><p><br /></p><p>The preliminary investigation by the IPOB Intel group (M.Branch) reveals the following:</p><p><br /></p><p>Due to the inability of the Government of Muhammadu Buhari and current Government of Bola Ahmad Tinubu to provoke IPOB into violence and unprepared war by using brutal force and blackmail, they hired infiltrators to infiltrate the movement of IPOB.</p><p><br /></p><p>These criminal infiltrators under the command of Simon Ekpa were recruited through APC leaders, namely Hope Uzodinma and Abubakar Malami (Ex- Attorney General of the Federation) and others. On the international level, the Nigeria Government colluded with Britain, Kenya and others to abduct our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and detain him illegally for years while equipping Simon Ekpa led gang to increase insecurity and banditry in the South East with the name of IPOB, ESN, and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. </p><p><br /></p><p>The objective is to tag their violent activities on IPOB and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. </p><p><br /></p><p>This is to provide their already concluded evidence to court to jail our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and also to blackmail the IPOB movement globally.</p><p><br /></p><p>Though IPOB has consistently disassociated the movement and Mazi Nnamdi from the violent criminals led by Simon Ekpa, the Nigeria State remained adamant in tagging their activities on the IPOB movement. </p><p><br /></p><p>The governors of the Eastern Region must not keep mute over this insecurity or allow Hope Uzodinma, Abubakar Malami SAN, and their cohorts to destroy the region because of their selfish interest and political maneuvers to serve their masters. </p><p><br /></p><p>IPOB will name those involved in no distance future and tell the world why they are doing so. </p><p><br /></p><p>If indeed the International Community will shun political influence and seek to know the truth and those behind the insecurity in the Eastern Region. The United Nations (UN), European Union (EU), African Union (AU), Amnesty International (AI) and other Lovers of Peace can use their Intelligence Units to investigate the insecurity and insurgency in the South East and South South Regions. Nigeria's government runs a rogue security agency that has zero integrity. </p><p><br /></p><p>Their security report is without an iota of truth. IPOB maintains that the insecurity in the Eastern Region is State sponsored. IPOB has the mandate to protect our land from marauding Fulani jihadist terrorists and State sponsored criminals not to make our land unsafe. Let the International Intelligence Community carry out an independent security investigation in Biafra Land and publish their findings.</p><p><br /></p><p>IPOB has remained peaceful irrespective of the use of maximum force against unarmed IPOB members by the Nigerian State. IPOB is seeking Biafra Self Determination via a UN supervised referendum.</p><p><br /></p><p>But Nigeria Establishments' continuous use of blackmail, intimidation, arrest, torture murder and forceful disappearance to cow us down is dead on arrival. </p><p><br /></p><p>COMRADE EMMA POWERFUL, MEDIA, AND PUBLICITY SECRETARY FOR IPOB.</p>Emeka Gifthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10134360289078060311noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-666638428123352848.post-106089400288731212024-03-25T10:19:00.000-07:002024-03-25T10:19:22.329-07:00 IPOB Condemns Terrorist Attack In Moscow, Says It Support Every Action Initiated To Bring Perpetrators To Book<p> <span face="TwitterChirp, -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, "Segoe UI", Roboto, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif" style="background-color: white; The government have continued to employ dishonest and destructive measures in their fight against the IPOB leader and his movement. This conscious severe abuse does clearly classify Nigeria as a rogue government. </p><p><br /></p><p>Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, known for his outspoken advocacy for the rights of the Biafran people and the call for a referendum to enable Biafrans decide their fate with Nigeria, has been conceived as a thorn in the flesh by Nigeria government. And, from all indications it seems the government is determined to silence Kanu at all costs.</p><p><br /></p><p>Amongst many failed arguments against Kanu, the government still holds that the IPOB leader is responsible for terrorism in the Eastern part of the country. However, upon a closer examination from an unbiased point of view, it becomes clear that this charge is unfounded and lacks substantive basis because the IPOB leader has consistently maintained a peaceful approach to his agitation, emphasizing the right to self-determination as enshrined in international law. His calls for a referendum to determine the fate of the Biafran people are not acts of treason but expressions of a legitimate desire for freedom and self-governance. This was equally acknowledged by the Nigerian Appellate Court in Abuja on 13th October 2022, and quashed every charges, declaring Kanu discharged and acquitted. Unfortunately, Nigeria State continues baselessly in the attempts to link Kanu to acts of violence or terrorism.</p><p><br /><!--adsense--></p><p>At present, Family Writers Press International(FWPI) is in possession of reliable information indicating the government's reliance on dubious witnesses, including importing imprisoned criminals (especially from Imo State) to testify as instruments of Nnamdi Kanu in terrorism acts. According to our sources, the criminals from Imo State have already been transported to Abuja and the scripts they will act in court against the IPOB leader to study and in return, get amnesty from the Imo State Supreme Court imposed governor, Hope Uzodimma. This is not just a travesty of justice but a mockery of the judicial system. It is a desperate attempt to fabricate evidence and subvert the course of justice. The fact that no IPOB member has ever been convicted of any crime by any competent court, is a testament to the peaceful nature of the movement, and Kanu's leadership.</p><p><br /></p><p>This malicious approach by Nigeria State did not start today. Recall that the President Buhari administration had put up several of similar false accusations against the IPOB leader at a time, with the Chief Judge of Federal High Court, John Tsoho who sought to carry out secret trial on the IPOB leader. DSS officials where masked to groundlessly testify against the IPOB leader, but was resisted. There are other instances where prostitutes from Abuja where also paid for the dirty job, which later got public through one. In 2016, IPOB intelligence also unveiled the governments plan to import persons from Ghana and Cameron for the same purpose. But, all these kept failing because, they are evil plots against an innocent man. </p><p><br /></p><p>The persecution of Kanu is not just about him as an individual, but about the broader issue of freedom of speech and the right to dissent. It sends a chilling message to other activists and dissenters that their voices will not be tolerated. It is a violation of fundamental human rights and a betrayal of the principles of democracy.</p><p><br /></p><p>Nigeria government's plan to jail Mazi Nnamdi Kanu unjustly is a show of shame. It is a glaring example of abuse of power, political vendetta, and a disregard for the rule of law. Kanu has not committed any crimes defined by law, and his persecution is a clear case of injustice. It is time for the government to stop this charade that is gradually getting it rogue, and begin to respect the right of all citizens, including those who dare to speak truth to power.</p><p><br /></p><p>Family Writers Press International.</p>Emeka Gifthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10134360289078060311noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-666638428123352848.post-75777973472250112322024-03-23T06:10:00.000-07:002024-03-23T06:10:24.689-07:00The Resilience of IPOB Amidst the crackdowns in Nigeria <p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEilSxmej1WqBIxec9uoa7V29Xobb4Ta0pJ4subc1_7_F1swSdhBiT7C7Fpqo7TBhHI5FedvHOnfFYz59WL5dD6e8MgnCuKYiGhhL0yZvnMTPH7MUodrjTjQvd8D6NVpxoewq8AEfq5BUi6gcn4DzUBaeLkBsa5GzWOhjaGyl3_QaWk9z8BSjYvD15IG0vNa" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="508" data-original-width="720" height="328" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEilSxmej1WqBIxec9uoa7V29Xobb4Ta0pJ4subc1_7_F1swSdhBiT7C7Fpqo7TBhHI5FedvHOnfFYz59WL5dD6e8MgnCuKYiGhhL0yZvnMTPH7MUodrjTjQvd8D6NVpxoewq8AEfq5BUi6gcn4DzUBaeLkBsa5GzWOhjaGyl3_QaWk9z8BSjYvD15IG0vNa=w549-h328" width="549" /></a></div><p><br /></p><p></p><p><br /></p><p>The Resilience of IPOB Amidst the crackdowns in Nigeria </p><p><br /></p><p>Though the Indigenous People Of Biafra(IPOB) have since inception been a lightening rod for criticism and government crackdowns, yet she consistently defies expectations and persevered. Despite efforts by the Nigeria government to destabilize the movement, IPOB have remained strong, steadfast, leading to rumors and misinformation about the source of her strength and status.</p><p><br /></p><p>One of the key factors behind IPOB's resilience is her organizational structure and strategy. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the charismatic leader of the movement has played a pivotal role in shaping the movement's direction and maintaining her unity. Kanu's leadership style, characterized by a combination of ideological fervor and strategic pragmatism, has helped IPOB navigate challenges and setbacks.</p><p><br /></p><p>IPOB's organizational structure is decentralized, with various levels of leadership and coordination. This decentralized approach has made it difficult for the Nigerian government to target the group effectively. Additionally, IPOB has leveraged modern communication technologies such as; social media and encrypted messaging apps to organize and mobilize her members, further complicating government's efforts to disrupt her activities.</p><p><br /></p><p>Despite the government's efforts to undermine IPOB, including the proscription of the group as a terrorist organization in 2017, IPOB have continued to operate and advocate for her cause. The Nigeria government have employed various tactics to discredit IPOB, including spreading rumors of internal divisions and leadership disputes. However, these rumors have largely been debunked, with IPOB maintaining a united front and a clear focus on her goals.</p><p><br /><!--adsense--></p><p>One of the most persistent rumors surrounding IPOB is the notion that the group is on the verge of collapse or have been significantly weakened. However, these claims have consistently been proven false. Recently, the IPOB leadership, the Directorate of States(DOS) made the decision to withdraw their interest in the Justice Binta Nyako's Federal High Court continued trial of its Leader's Case. This decision comes in the wake of a deeply troubling Supreme Court ruling on December 15, 2023, which have been viewed as a miscarriage of justice.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 18pt; line-height: 25.68px;"> </span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 18pt; line-height: 25.68px;">The Supreme Court Justices in their ruling, admitted to several critical points that highlight the injustice faced by Nnamdi Kanu. Firstly, they acknowledged that Kanu did not jump bail but rather escaped assassination when the military invaded his house on September 14, 2017. Same invasion which led to the loss of 28 lives and destruction of properties.<o:p></o:p><!--adsense--></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 18pt; line-height: 25.68px;"> </span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 18pt; line-height: 25.68px;">Secondly, the Supreme Court Justices condemned the manner in which the IPOB leader was abducted in Kenya and extradited to Nigeria. The extraordinary rendition violated international law and Kanu's rights, yet he continues to be held in detention without bail.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 18pt; line-height: 25.68px;"> </span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 18pt; line-height: 25.68px;">Thirdly, the Supreme Court Justices criticized Justice Binta Nyako's decision to revoke Kanu's bail. This decision, which was based on spurious allegations, further demonstrates the bias and unfairness that have characterized this trial.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 18pt; line-height: 25.68px;"> </span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 18pt; line-height: 25.68px;">It is important to note that the Court of Appeal had previously delivered a landmark ruling on October 13, 2022, which took all these factors into consideration. The Court of Appeal discharged and acquitted Kanu of all charges, declaring him ineligible to stand trial further in any Nigerian court. This ruling was a clear indication of the lack of merit in the case against Kanu.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 18pt; line-height: 25.68px;"> </span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 18pt; line-height: 25.68px;">However, despite acknowledging and admitting these wrongdoing by the federal government against Kanu, the Supreme Court in its ill-delivered verdict, reversed the due judgment and remanded Kanu back to the Department of State Services (DSS) dungeon without bail. This decision reeks of political interference and raises serious concerns about the independence of the judiciary in Nigeria.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 18pt; line-height: 25.68px;"> </span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 18pt; line-height: 25.68px;">The IPOB leadership's decision to withdraw every confidence from the Judiciary reflects their lack of confidence in the fairness and impartiality of the judicial process. It is a damning indictment of the Nigerian legal system and its failure to uphold justice and the rule of law.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 18pt; line-height: 25.68px;"> </span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 18pt; line-height: 25.68px;">In conclusion, this withdrawal of IPOB's interest is a stark reminder of the injustice that continues to plague Nigeria's legal system. Kanu's case is not just about him; it is about the fundamental principles of justice and fairness that should govern any democratic society. Until these principles are upheld, Kanu's trial will remain a symbol of the injustices that persist in Nigeria.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 18pt; line-height: 25.68px;"> </span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 18pt; line-height: 25.68px;">Written by Chima O. The genocidist Yakubu Gowon led the second bloodiest genocide after the Israeli Holocaust against Biafrans between 1967 and 1970. </p><p><br /></p><p>Recently, during a solidarity visit to President Tinubu, the genocidist, Yakubu Gowon, openly confessed to starting the genocidal war that they call a civil war against Ndigbo without shame. He equally confirmed that he was criticized for starting that war, yet he went ahead to commit the deadly genocide against Biafra Nation.</p><p><br /></p><p>Below, we have identified the main betrayers in the Middle Belt's present crisis who dine with the Fulanis to kill their own people and have promised them part of Middle Belt land, especially in Plateau state the Gowon's Indigenous state:</p><p><br /></p><p>1. The genocidists agenda was to wipe out Biafrans from the surface of the earth, but Chukwu Okike Abiama disappointed them. Today, Biafrans have moved on and prospered against all economic and developmental odds to the envy of Nigerians. Despite the depopulation agenda against Biafra through many years of pogroms and the civil war of genocide, today, the Biafra population is the highest among all the nations yoked together in their one-Nigeria </p><p><br /></p><p>If Nigeria doubts the population strength of Biafra, we challenge them to conduct a digitalized population census. </p><p><br /></p><p>The genocidist Gowon, through the British support, mobilized many world powers and fought against Biafra. The war of annihilation went on for three years against the small new Nation of Biafra. By the grace of Chukwu Okike Abiama, our heroes withstood their war of annihilation for three (3) years without foreign support. We are not surprised that an unrepentant and unapologetic war criminal, Yakubu Gowon, can still boldly boast of his genocidal actions against Biafra. In other sane nations, war criminals like Gowon are serving life imprisonment sentences for their part in genocide. But Nigeria is a nation that rewards criminals, terrorists, and treasurey looters while punishing FREEDOM FIGHTERS and human rights activists. </p><p><br /></p><p>As other genocidists in Nigeria, Gowon is galavanting and glorifying himself for massacring millions of Biafran men, women, and children. His home state is under the occupation of terrorists and bandits today, but that is not his concern. The genocide he masterminded against Biafrans has visited his people. Fulani bandits and terrorists have taken over and renamed some of the villages in Tiv nation while Gowon is watching helplessly like the slave that he is. God has preserved Gowon to witness the same genocide he perpetrated against Biafrans. Fortunately, no inch of Biafran land was taken over by the Nigeria State during the bloody civil war. But Yakubu Gowon and his people have already lost some areas of their own land to Fulani conquerors and jihadists. And if care is not taken, the entire Middle Belt will be conquered by the Sokoto Fulani Caliphate. We don't wish that happens because of the innocent people of the Middle Belt even though we despise the unrepentant Genocidist Gowon and his fellow Nigerianists' actions against Biafrans.</p><p><br /></p><p>We commend our eternal leader, Chief Dim, Odumegwu Ojukwu whether dead or alive, and other Biafra heroes and heroines for resisting the bloody genocide against Biafrans led by the genocidist, Gowon. By the special grace of Eze Chukwu Okike Abiama, this generation of Biafrans will finish the struggle and restore Biafra Independence. There is nothing people like war criminal Gen. Yakubu Gowon and company can do about it. </p><p><br /></p><p>COMRADE EMMA POWERFUL, MEDIA, AND PUBLICITY SECRETARY FOR IPOB</p>Emeka Gifthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10134360289078060311noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-666638428123352848.post-991395150547019242024-02-25T00:32:00.000-08:002024-02-25T00:32:54.886-08:00IGBOPHOBIA: Why Aare Kurunmi's Rating Of Easterners Is Out Of An Assessment Marred With Cynicism<p>IGBOPHOBIA: Why Aare Kurunmi's Rating Of Easterners Is Out Of An Assessment Marred With Cynicism</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjy_JzGVNvYobuFUHcMe0RH-RCm-qRyg9LPBgjFTDjrR1NEigGYAGPtiBphH3Do9JT9SnxLOZt402SPErkJKB5pE2MB1usXigQxAaNGiSxxgt8PiQ3Z8AfnTOmeRw1WrmPFcMAQ9Qr3jxvvhOdYQJ7yvgjReGRsM6DhSwjeTOSbHtArUMQP2Zd_JlIKd8fu/s720/157344179_188627119688305_3314382333937377522_n.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="540" data-original-width="720" height="284" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjy_JzGVNvYobuFUHcMe0RH-RCm-qRyg9LPBgjFTDjrR1NEigGYAGPtiBphH3Do9JT9SnxLOZt402SPErkJKB5pE2MB1usXigQxAaNGiSxxgt8PiQ3Z8AfnTOmeRw1WrmPFcMAQ9Qr3jxvvhOdYQJ7yvgjReGRsM6DhSwjeTOSbHtArUMQP2Zd_JlIKd8fu/w471-h284/157344179_188627119688305_3314382333937377522_n.jpg" width="471" /></a></div><p><br /></p><p>Recently, a rather controversial and arguably illogical piece has been in circulation on various social media networks. And, the content is as usual, nothing less of what has constantly obtained; a jab at the Igbo nation and the South Eastern region, starring from the uproar and discontentment of various dissidents in the western and northern parts of Nigeria over the unbearable economic hardship that has enveloped the enclave, and the subsequent mysterious refusal to the bewilderment and disappointment of those who dearly crave their workforce to achieve their desired goal. </p><p><br /></p><p>By invoking past memories and encounters, the East have opted to maintain strategic ambivalence and allow the North, West handle the crisis "they brought upon everyone". And, from the forgoing has this acclaimed Pan-Yoruba activist called Aare Kurunmi Kakanfo decided to continue throwing tantrums against the Igbos and accusingly positing that they would start another war in Nigeria.</p><p><br /></p><p>In his view, the West (Yoruba) would never politically align with the East - as that would imply the "total surrender of the political, economic, social control of the South West to the Igbos" and such would not be possible. Ironically, Mr. Aare is making these nettlesome remarks at a time the Igbos are maintaining silence and apathy in any national issue. </p><p><br /><!--adsense--></p><p>For posterity sake, this obsession and fear-mongering of a "domineering Igbo devourers" has been in play since time immemorial and has always served as an easy-to-use card for whosever decides to deploy their ignorant peasants against the bogeymen while advertently and distractively keeping them peasants in perpetual hunger and misery. </p><p><br /></p><p>Either from the days of the Sarduana of Sokoto, Sir Ahmadu Bello or Dr. Obafemi Awolowo up till the contemporary moment, the Igbos have always served as the perfect frightening objects or rather subjects, for the tactical, selfish politicial games of the ruling class. And, this has not changed nor is it expected to.</p><p><br /></p><p>The Igbos in contrast to another ethnic make-up in Nigeria – and by admission of independent international sources, have evidently invested more in the Nigerian project without demanding for any extraordinary favor in return. If history serves right, the first and Igbo man to assume or contest a significant political position outside the East, was Nnamdi Azikiwe - who is regarded as one of the founding fathers and Pro-independent activists of the British amalgamated Nigeria, and this was when he contested for the premiership of the West and eventually lost or rather was kicked out by tribal jingoists led by his erstwhile comrade, Chief Awolowo.</p><p><br /></p><p>It is important to emphasize that the actions of Azikiwe was ultimately influenced by the sentiments, purpose and promise of the Nigeria they ostensibly fought for; a Nigeria of pragmatic regionalism but with Federal characteristics devoid of tribalism and nepotism. Clearly, his detractors were not on the same page with him, thus he was roundly kicked out and he came back home to lick his wounds.</p><p><br /></p><p>On the Economic level, the Igbos have mobilized and invested in immense proportion in other regions of Nigeria, even to the detriment of the development of the East, their homebase. They live amongst the community of wherever they are found, contribute to the development of the community and pay their tax as legitimate citizens and residents of where they are domiciled. The investments worth billions of dollars of Igbos are littered across western and Northern Nigeria, while later are recalcitrant to do same in the East.</p><p><br /></p><p>The Igbo man has not fermented, sponsored funded any political party, candidate - either within the SouthEast or outside- for the sole benefit of himself, enterprises. However, he has exercise his constitutional rights to harbor a political will and not be intimidated to express it, and this he has done not from a tribalistic viewpoint, instead on meritocratic basis. And if that is what Mr. Aare Kakanfo refers to being "meddlesome", then he needs to be schooled about the entailments of the Nigerian constitution.</p><p><br /></p><p>Admittedly, it is unarguable that there is an unsolvable fundamental ideological difference between not only the East and West, but inclusively the North. The incompatibility is glaring enough that all can see it. And, since Mr. Aare obviously believes that the Igbos needs to keep to the east, he should shun the hypocritical rhetorics of another Civil war and join campaign for the expulsion and exit of the East from Nigeria and even ban Easterners from visiting and travelling to Nigeria (then it would be essentially the west's and north's).</p><p><br /></p><p>Igbos are not only in the deceptive "South East geopolitical zone" and cannot be reduced to such. The man who led the infamous January 15th 1966 mutiny vilely called "Igbo coup" - which was primarily about saving Yoruba land from an impending takeover by the ultranationalist Fulani warlord, Sir Ahmadu Bello and enthroning Chief Awolowo as president, is from okpanam present-day Delta State - though it is now assumed to be no longer part of the Igbo nation. </p><p><br /></p><p>It is an insult to human intelligence, and it is only Brain-wrecked individuals and people would accept such a travesty. Not after the serial pogroms and Genocidal war that claimed the lives of over 3.5 million people (mostly children), not after the massacres of every male child in Asaba. Not after the" shoot everything that moves" order and "if the Biafra children must die first, then it is just too bad" euphoria by Benjamin Adekunle AKA black scorpion.</p><p><br /></p><p>The East, the Igbos remains unapologetic for being who they are; for their economic wittiness, for being meritocratic, hardworking and resistant to oppression, for being true Pan-Africanist. Nevertheless, they have decided to maintain strategic ambivalence and that shall continue until the desired result is achieved. </p><p><br /></p><p>In summary, the Igbos have paid heavily in their course and adventure of unfortunately finding their selves in a British amalgamated Nigeria. They owe nothing, rather those who killed, starved their children to death, stole their hard-earned money in the banks and gave them £20 to fizzle away,3 are those who owe them and will surely pay in folds when the time comes.</p><p><br /></p><p>The East never asked for war nor did they started the Nigeria-Biafra war, as lately admitted by the Chief genocidist, Yakubu Gowon to the hearing of the global community. However, as always, the East reserves the right to defend themselves against aggression and threats of extermination as obtained 57 years ago. Self-defense is a natural right and all people are entitled to it. Those fanning the flames of war should be guided and advocate for the peaceful desolation of Nigeria.</p><p><br /></p><p>Written By Enenienwite Ikechukwu</p><p><br /></p><p>Edited by Ogah C S Maduabuchi </p><p><br /></p><p>For Family Writers Press International.</p><div><br /></div>Emeka Gifthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10134360289078060311noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-666638428123352848.post-13673786443903163972023-12-24T19:58:00.000-08:002023-12-24T19:58:22.397-08:00Man Of The Year: Nnamdi Kanu, A Phenomenal Extraordinary Personality, Nominated By A Popular Vote<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjPkbmXpP3vo0875nZ0qMo9OoAaIjY3etM20jLh3oVT6gplDJqsm-2pqhkN8y9VWdYSAqGqJ5rhcXsrEBG0q3EaGbl6ggagY7FgJQi2PiW6Upv7GX-064n90iwrzishp_Iv8dcWmKiek8nSBWSiFo7OX6_N1BlVBRRYFAXzqn6RXW1B_pHqQd4eL9iyE_3a/s459/IMG_20231225_045535.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="340" data-original-width="459" height="237" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjPkbmXpP3vo0875nZ0qMo9OoAaIjY3etM20jLh3oVT6gplDJqsm-2pqhkN8y9VWdYSAqGqJ5rhcXsrEBG0q3EaGbl6ggagY7FgJQi2PiW6Upv7GX-064n90iwrzishp_Iv8dcWmKiek8nSBWSiFo7OX6_N1BlVBRRYFAXzqn6RXW1B_pHqQd4eL9iyE_3a/s320/IMG_20231225_045535.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><h2 style="text-align: left;">Man Of The Year: Nnamdi Kanu, A Phenomenal Extraordinary Personality, Nominated By A Popular Vote</h2><div><br /></div><div><b>December 25, 2023 | The Biafran Times</b></div><div><br /></div><div>In the history and study of modern and ancient sociopolitical movements around the world, certain figures emerge as rare gems and catalysts for change, championing the holistic cause and aspirations of their people, this includes even when a proportionate number of the people does not consciously appreciate the ups and downs surrounding the task, the challenges that the struggle portends, and the immense sacrifices required to achieve the desired goal.</div><div><br /></div><div>One such individual who has carved a niche for himself in the annals and books of modern history is Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra movement and the crowned prince of Afara Ukwu Ibeku - his clan traditional rulership mantle. Widely regarded as a standard-bearer which naturally endowed him the Igbo highly reserved and revered title of "Ohamadike 1 of Biafra" - a man of valor, and the epitome of exceptional leadership (Onyendu) – a leader who leads from the front, and bares a firsthand experience of the enemy's attacks and belligerent overtures.</div><div><br /></div><div>Kanu's journey in life as a freedom fighter, and Self-determination activist is both fascinating and also immersed in complexities.</div><div>He undoubtedly, deserves the honor of the "Man of the Year" title being nominated, for his exceptional leadership and never-say-die activism. His impact on the voices yearning for emancipation in Nigeria today, cannot be overstated nor overemphasized.</div><div><br /></div><div>Nnamdi Kanu's evolution into a freedom fighter can be traced back to his early life. Born to a family deeply rooted in the Igbo culture, Kanu's sense of identity and belonging became pivotal in shaping his convictions. His journey for Biafra self-determination commenced with the revamping of the defunct Radio Biafra, a media platform that would later become central, and very instrumental in disseminating his message of freedom to his people, and global community.</div><div><br /></div><div>Kanu's advocacy for the independence of Biafra is characterized by his steadfast commitment to the cause. His unwavering belief in the right to self-determination for the people of Eastern Nigeria has positioned him as a standard-bearer for the contemporary Biafran independence movement. Through his speeches and time-tested pronouncements, Kanu aroused a vision and consciousness that resonates with those who sincerely sought freedom and liberty from systemic oppression.</div><div><br /></div><div>At the heart of Kanu's influence and activism lies his extraordinary leadership style. He combines charisma with a great deal of understanding of the ills confronting his people. His ability to objectively articulate issues at hand, and propose durable, painstaking solutions has garnered him a dedicated followership of global outreach. His leadership transcends the conventional, as it navigates through complexities of politics with pragmatic diplomacy and finesse.</div><div><br /></div><div>While the term "freedom fighting" often depicts the images of conflicts and physical confrontations, Nnamdi Kanu distinguishes himself as a man of peace. His calls for a peaceful and diplomatic resolution to the Biafran question - through a United Nations supervised referendum - underscore a commitment to avoiding unnecessary bloodshed. This makes him outstanding from those who initially from the onset embraced and adopted the radical approach against oppression and occupation, even without giving a benefit of doubt.</div><div><br /></div><div>Kanu's impact has not gone unnoticed on the global stage. His activism over the years has earned him a definite relationship platform with certain, respected world leaders and institutions, reflecting the acknowledgment of his efforts in championing the cause of the Biafran people jealously yet without cynicism. This honor is not merely a personal accolade but a recognition of the broader movement he represents and the aspirations of those who rally behind, and around him.</div><div><br /></div><div>However, the path to freedom and emancipation is fraught with challenges and confrontations. Yet, Kanu's pragmatic approach of obliging the Nigeria judiciary system irrespective of the high-handedness of the Nigerian authorities, remains indispensable. </div><div><br /></div><div>Moreover, the nomination of Kanu as the best freedom fighter of 2023 through a popular opinion poll conducted on the X social network platform, buttresses the fact about the viral support and admiration he has earned from a disproportionate members of the society, as a result of his long sufferings and consistency, even under immense physical and psychological torture behind the solitary confinement walls of the Nigerian secret police (DSS), cell for over two years.</div><div><br /></div><div>The acknowledgment from the public reflects the resonance of his message, and how deep it has sunk into the minds of those who believes and concurs with it. Kanu's ability to mobilize public opinion and rally support speaks volumes about his influence and the indispensability of his person in the affairs of the people of Eastern Nigeria especially as it pertains the socioeconomic and political aspect of life. It can be safe to say, that all of which revolves around him, as the people has immense trust in him, thus invariably trusts his judgement as uncompromising and unbetraying.</div><div><br /></div><div>Mazi Nnamdi Kanu stands as a phenomenal and extraordinary freedom fighter whose impact so far, reverberates beyond the confines of the Nigerian landscape. His journey decorated by his commitment to peace, his unfettered resolve for true independence as well as his unique leadership style, paints a portrait of a man deeply connected to his roots and the aspirations of his people. </div><div><br /></div><div>While controversies from certain quarters about him may surely exist, however his recognition as the Man of the Year - not only through the online poll, but also on the ground worldwide - reflects the acknowledgment of his significant role in shaping the discourse on self-determination as far the history of Nigeria is concerned. Whether one views him as a hero or a controversial figure, Nnamdi Kanu remains, an undeniable enigma in history of freedom fighting of the 21st Century.</div><div><br /></div><div>Article Written by Family Writers Press International</div></div><div><br /></div><div>Published by Comrade Charles Opanwa (IPOB-AR)</div>Biafra Writershttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16181799715919334527noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-666638428123352848.post-29858452786549038232023-11-23T03:45:00.000-08:002023-11-23T03:45:21.829-08:00The Continued Detention Of Kanu A Catalyst For Biafra Sovereignty<h1 style="text-align: left;">The Continued Detention Of Kanu A Catalyst For Biafra Sovereignty</h1><div><b>By Eluwa Chidiebere Chinazu | Biafra Writers</b></div><div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAY0iOZhwdTh52VCqYGxM38W16huZ3seIqrcwC5p42Svt5GfzsaFW2cFtTQ4GMPgiNTnNZIwoYGfM0zF0rdJY6CGcTMsne9pTikFswfCiaL7lhs6MHGjKElhyhQri46rTW62jcY50QsPwWF-FWSz1ry7-ZdXqTQSvRVhNldNP6nv24Q9Keh5fs7ngqL7Do/s1008/WhatsApp-Image-2021-06-29-at-14.24.14-1.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1008" data-original-width="756" height="222" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAY0iOZhwdTh52VCqYGxM38W16huZ3seIqrcwC5p42Svt5GfzsaFW2cFtTQ4GMPgiNTnNZIwoYGfM0zF0rdJY6CGcTMsne9pTikFswfCiaL7lhs6MHGjKElhyhQri46rTW62jcY50QsPwWF-FWSz1ry7-ZdXqTQSvRVhNldNP6nv24Q9Keh5fs7ngqL7Do/w240-h222/WhatsApp-Image-2021-06-29-at-14.24.14-1.jpeg" width="240" /></a></div><br /><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>November 23, 2023</div><div><br /></div><div>Many have questioned the possibility of the emergence of the sovereign state of Biafra. The incarceration of Kanu did the damage.</div><div><br /></div><div>But has the hope of restoring Biafra been buried truly with the illegal detention of the leader? INEC is not independent but fully dependent on the government in power or to any moneybag politician who lines their pockets. However, in this coming election in Imo State, INEC officials must very circumspect not to throw Imo State into crisis by becoming willing tools to renew another four years-mandate of suffering, hunger, and killings. </p><p>INEC officials must not be another Supreme Court that imposed a rejected candidate on Imo Indigenes using the fulanized Supreme Court. That illegality of the Supreme Court threw Imo State into unwarranted suffering, political intimidation, and mass killings. </p><p>IPOB members are not politicians and neither partisan, but we are against any political party or government that is toxic to our people. The Supreme Court Governor in Imo State, Hope Uzodinma is a murderer and a mass killer who has killed and forcefully disappeared a lot of people in Imo State. He has ensured that insecurity reigns supreme in Imo State and beyond. Those who are colluding with him to rig him back into power should watch their back. He who fetches an ant infested firewood has indirectly invited lizards for a party. Therefore, INEC officials that Hope Uzodinma handpicked and drafted to rig the Imo State election should be very careful not to buy a market that comes with heavy prices. We want these drafted INEC officials to know that Imo State people are groaning in pains from a killer government and it will be suicidal for them to subvert their wishes in this coming election because of money or threat. If you can't stand the threat and can't say no to bribes to suvert the will of Imo citizens, you have the time to back off. But should you subvert the will of the people, be ready for the consequences. Ndimo and IPOB intelligence in Imo State are watching.</p><p>The IPOB intelligence has uncovered some INEC officials that have been drafted to various Imo State Local Government Areas to compromise election results in favour of Hope Uzodinma and APC. All these identified and named officials are from outside Imo State except one official. We advise every one of them to be professional or back off if they can't be neutral and do their job honestly. If they insist on doing the dirty job, then they should get ready for the consequences. </p><p>They are: </p><p>(1) Aboh Mbaise - Nnewedim Ijeoma Ursula (Abia state) Phone number 08038974747.</p><p>(2) Ahiazu Mbaise - Chukwuemeka Blessing Ugo (Abia state) 08037378664.</p><p>(3) Ehime Mbano- Ogbuehi Gloria Chinasa (Abia state) 07068881062.</p><p>(4) Ezinihitte- Nwosu Chigbo (Anambra State) 08039993935.</p><p>(5) Ideato North- Onuwasonya Anthony Nduka (Anambra State) 08033802213.</p><p>(6) Ideato South - Ahumibe Preye Ihugbam (Bayelsa State) 08035435712.</p><p>(7) Ihitte Uboma- Ezeabasili keme Felix (Anambra State) 0033325855.</p><p>(8) Ikeduru- Omeje Ikemechukwu Peter-(Enugu State) 08033024090.08033024090.</p><p>(9) Isiala Mbano- Nwaeze Elizabeth (Ebonyi state) 08030523663.</p><p>(10) Isu- Asagwara Ikechukwu-(Abia State) 08037783141.</p><p>(11) Mbaitoli- Nwabisi Theresa Nkiruka (Enugu State) 08037124769.</p><p>(12) Ngor Okpala- Ogbuishi Richadson Ikechukwu (Enugu State) 08036369580.</p><p>(13) Njaba- Nwaknwo Nkemakolam - (Abia State) 08035877989.</p><p>(14) Nkwerre- Okpara-Elom Ifeoma Antonia -(Enugu State) 08030965095.</p><p>(15) Nwangele- Obetta Chinyere Vivian (Enugu State) 07065408830.</p><p>(16) Obowo- Nonyelum Benjamin (Enugu State) 08035925625.</p><p>(17) Oguta- Obiechehie Ozioma (Abia State) 07034740374, 07011576162.</p><p>(18) Ohaji/Egbema- Nwosu Noel Ikenna- (Abia State) 08035988355.</p><p>(19) Okigwe - Uzor Chikwendu Victor- ( Abia State) 08037225018.</p><p>(20) Onuimo-Ohabuiro Henry- (Abia State) 0803308034028216.</p><p>(21) Orlu- Okocha Godfrey Ogonda- (Rivers State) 08033102484.</p><p>(22) Orsu-Oranebo Ethelbert Ikenna- (Anambra State) 08033934168, 08078714117.</p><p>(23) Oru East- Okoli Abadnego (Anambra State) 08034510714</p><p>(24) Oru West- Uzoka Emmanuel Uchenna (Imo State) 080345227192</p><p>(25) Owerri Municipal- Ogbonna I.Ifeanyichukwu- (Enugu State) 08033575625</p><p>(26) Owerri North- Nnaji Ifeanyichukwu Henry-(Enugu State) 08030919961.</p><p>(27) Owerri West - Okike Emeka (Ebonyi State)08035608131. </p><p>Doubt IPOB to your own peril. </p><p>Imo citizens and Ndigbo should watch out for the INEC officers mentioned above call them to order. Just as with every other territory under military siege in the world, the soldiers assigned to this region have been committing all manner of crimes mostly in the night. They rape, rob, extort, and harass citizens without provocation. Fortunately for the region however, IPOB emerged. </p><p><br /></p><p>The rise of insecurity in the region and the consequent spurious moves by the Nigerian government and its pocketed duplicitous media to profile the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) as the culprit, call for urgent attention. Before we get bamboozled by the enemy media and so cast our stone at IPOB, let us ponder on the processes that brought insecurity into existence in the region. Let's ask ourselves how the insecurity in the Southeast began, what caused it, who is behind it and who fought against it? These are the synoptical questions that will not only help us ascertain the perpetrators but also equip our minds to be able to digest the enemy's scheme in accusing IPOB.</p><p><br /></p><p>Whenever the issue of southeast insecurity is presented on the table, the Fulani movement called Fulani Nationalism and popularly known as Ruga, should come to mind. The Buhari government through Ruga occasioned insecurity on regions opposed to it. Many lives and properties were destroyed trying to force it on the people. IPOB being the single most important body in that vehement rejection, became an enemy of the government. </p><p><br /></p><p>Ruga massacred families, heightened tension, destroyed homes and means of livelihood. The horrible stories of an old women raped in their farms, young girls gangraped, mother and child butchered in their farms, villages burnt etc, were no good news at all. IPOB rose to the occasion.</p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8GKk44RwFbUDUIfn1uLlNvjcIv7x_gNaFNnpSLIJ93mPPcyUbUWi__4FUZM6vP2kB4LYYB9Ny4xpPMWNMvvOlf6ZU5d7Fu3gDZmw36nAkT0sCNRoiYSBaXfOmdTcxOdi2vNn7Fu90VKZ4KknRgkEwsNHXgJnmwAldBUKipYHKRibht6IFBvX-xgXlu0rB/s500/images%20(5).jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="280" data-original-width="500" height="112" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8GKk44RwFbUDUIfn1uLlNvjcIv7x_gNaFNnpSLIJ93mPPcyUbUWi__4FUZM6vP2kB4LYYB9Ny4xpPMWNMvvOlf6ZU5d7Fu3gDZmw36nAkT0sCNRoiYSBaXfOmdTcxOdi2vNn7Fu90VKZ4KknRgkEwsNHXgJnmwAldBUKipYHKRibht6IFBvX-xgXlu0rB/w200-h112/images%20(5).jpeg" width="200" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibL9DVtE0Nf6NcoEBhRLTAxXbBD9d9U1ZoA72HeUbKUUgMV3jRMpl5jrHbs-2RK7S6Zo1hn-hxIyLgRvwRveNS1bvivuV-pNOFRsM68tOjqaq235laVX1rj9-NXJcy_zqUY_Sz3Ffor9oOBVIiy5ie7_dsqJYFZzD1PCttmns2HSnUmY_FDe7TPQ0Ht3NQ/s598/images%20(4).jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="513" data-original-width="598" height="172" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibL9DVtE0Nf6NcoEBhRLTAxXbBD9d9U1ZoA72HeUbKUUgMV3jRMpl5jrHbs-2RK7S6Zo1hn-hxIyLgRvwRveNS1bvivuV-pNOFRsM68tOjqaq235laVX1rj9-NXJcy_zqUY_Sz3Ffor9oOBVIiy5ie7_dsqJYFZzD1PCttmns2HSnUmY_FDe7TPQ0Ht3NQ/w200-h172/images%20(4).jpeg" width="200" /></a></div><br /><p></p><p>It is said that politics and insecurity are one. Nigeria was the aggressor. The war which lasted from 1967-1970 was spuriously declared no victor no vanquished even though the three Rs(Rehabilitation, Reconciliation and Reconstruction) were swept under the carpet.</p><p><br /></p><p>The war ended in 1970 but the heroic deeds of the Biafran people still dominate the media and resonate till date. Within just three years of independence, Biafrans attained a feat that no African country has ever attained up till now. At the time when technology was at its infancy, Biafra became the first and only African country to build and successfully launch a rocket system and a submarine. Biafrans invented their own bomb and spoke to the world through a telecommunication system engineered by local ingenuity. Between March and April 2023, not less than 68 Christians were slaughtered in Atyap Land alone; with less than 10 Christian school children abducted on 4th April from Government Secondary School Avon in Kachia LGA of Kaduna State who were taken into Jihadists’ captivity. According to the Southern Kaduna Peoples’ Union (SOKAPU), not less than 245 Southern Kaduna communities have been sacked and violently occupied by Fulani Terror Jihadists in six years (2017-2023). In Nassarawa State, no fewer than 38 Christian residents of Takalafia and Gwanja communities in the Karu Local Government Area of the State were hacked to death by terror herdsmen who stormed the area on Thursday night (14th May 2023).</div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div><b>1,100 Christians Killed By Jihadists In 60 Days And 2,150 In First 160 Days Of 2023 (1st Jan-12th June)</b></div><div><br /></div><div>Not less than 1,100 defenseless Christians were hacked to death by Nigerian Government backed Islamic Jihadists in the past 60 days or between 12th April and 12th June 2023; translating to daily average of 17 Christian deaths. The period under review also represents one of the bloodiest in anti Christian attacks in Nigeria. The breakdown of the 1,100 Christian deaths in 60 days (12th April-12th June 2023) shows that Plateau State is the worst hit with 350 Christian deaths, followed by Benue with 200 deaths, Kaduna 100 deaths, Nassarawa 62 deaths, Niger 50 deaths and ethnically and religiously related killings by the Police and Military personnel in the East 50 deaths. Others are Borno/Yobe with 40 Christian deaths, Taraba 40 deaths, Kebbi 20 deaths, South-West 20 deaths, South-East 20 deaths, Adamawa 10 deaths, South-South 10 deaths and FCT 10 Christian deaths. There are also 200 Christian deaths representing “dark figures of crimes” including over 80 Christian deaths omitted in places like Kaduna State, covering 1st January to 10th April 2023 and 10% (70 deaths) of the 700 abductees representing those abducted who are incapable of returning to their families alive. Also In two months gone by, not less than 700 Christians were abducted in Kaduna, Niger, Borno, Taraba, Yobe, Adamawa, Benue, Plateau, Kebbi, Nassarawa, Edo, Osun, Kwara, Kogi, FCT, Ondo, Delta, Enugu, Anambra and Abia States. In the 1,100 defenseless Christian deaths, Jihadist Fulani Herdsmen accounted for not less than 800 killings. We had in our mother Report of 10th April 2023,disclosed that 1,041 defenseless Christians were hacked to death in Nigeria in the first 100 days of 2023 or 1st Jan to 10th April 2023. In all, therefore, it has been investigated and found that a total of not less than 2,150 defenseless Christians have been slaughtered by non state actor/Nigerian Government backed Islamic Jihadists in the past 160 days or 1st Jan to 12th June 2023. Over 1,400 others were abducted; out of which 10% or 140 may be incapable of returning to their families alive. Churches in Adamawa State also came under attack including abduction of two pastors in Yola and attacks on churches on 24th May 2023. Several churches and hundreds of Christian homes had come under devastating attacks in Benue, Taraba, Borno, Yobe, Katsina, Zamfara, Nassarawa and Kogi States; totaling over 100 church attacks or burnings or destructions between 12th April and 12th June 2023.</div><div><br /></div><div><b>20 Pastors Attacked Since April And 600 Synagogues/1000 Traditional Sanctuaries Since Jan 2021</b></div><div><br /></div><div>Available statistics also showed that not less than 20 Christian pastors were abducted or murdered by marauding Nigerian Government protected Islamic Jihadists between 12th April and 12th June 2023. It was also investigated and found that the personnel of the Nigerian Military, Police and DSS deployed in the South-East and South-South jointly accounted for burning down or destruction of not less than 600 Synagogues and 1000 Traditional Religious Sanctuaries particularly in Imo, Anambra and Abia States since Jan 2021. The burning down or destruction of the Synagogues and Traditional Sanctuaries had arisen from false security intelligence that “members of IPOB/ESN are religious members of Jewish Synagogues and Traditional Religions which provide them with charms and spiritual backups and as a result, all Synagogues and Traditional Sanctuaries are instruments of terrorism and their members Biafra terrorists”. </div><div><br /></div><div><b>Previous Statistics In Our Mother Report Of 10th April 2023</b></div><div><br /></div><div>We had on Eastern Monday, 10th April 2023 released a Special Investigative Report and disclosed that “no fewer than 1,041 defenseless Christians were hacked to death by Nigeria’s Jihadists in the first 100 days of 2023 or 1st Jan to 10th April 2023 and over 700 others abducted”. The Report also disclosed that “5,191 defenseless Christians were hacked to death in 2021 and 3,800 others abducted by Nigeria’s Islamic Jihadists” and that “in Jan to Dec 2022, 5,068 defenseless Christians were hacked to death and over 3000 others abducted-with 10% or 300 permanently disappeared or incapable of returning to their families alive”. The Special Report further found that 30, 250 Christians were hacked to death under Buhari between June 2015 and March 2023; 14 million Christians uprooted and five million forced into IDPs and refugee camps including over 2.5m in Benue State-with over 800 Christian communities sacked, 18,000 churches and 2,200 Christian schools attacked or burned down or destroyed.</div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div>New Statistics Arising From Our Latest Updates</div><div><br /></div><div>Our latest updates have now shown that “not less than 1,100 Christians were slaughtered by the Jihadists in the past two months or a total of 2,150 since Jan 2023 or a period of 160 days-during which over 1400 others were abducted”. Not less than 18, 100 churches and 2,200 Christian schools were burned down or destroyed in the past fourteen years or since July 2009 and under Buhari, Nasiru El-Rufai and others, 6,600 churches and 700 Christian schools were lost from June 2015-12th June 2023. Intersociety has also earned a name and international respectability as Nigeria’s leading anti Christian persecution and radical Islamism watchdog and was admitted as a member of the United States-based International Alliance against Genocide since 2020. We have been closely monitoring patterns and trends of anti Christian persecution since 2010 and killing of minority Muslims and moderate others by non state actor armed Islamists and Muslim dominated Nigerian security forces from 2015 to 2023. The patterns and trends of the state actor religious butcheries under our close watch include introduction of state radical Islamism policy by the former Government of Nigeria in 2016, introduction of Nigerian security forces dimension to anti Christian butcheries across the country such as pro Islamic internal security operations in Eastern Nigeria since 2016 involving ethnic and religious profiling associated with atrocious military operations in the East and the military protected invasion of Eastern Christian forests, bushes and farmlands by Jihadist Fulani Herdsmen since 2016. We have monitored and tracked massacre of Christians and burning down or destruction of their sacred places of worship, religious symbols, Christian schools and living houses and farmlands across the country. These are done or carried out using research, investigation, documentation and publications. We also generate statistics from local and international media, religious, community, security, research, intergovernmental, nongovernmental, human rights bodies, international parliamentary organizations or diplomatic institutions.</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><b>Vindicated By El-Rufai’s Pro State Jihadism Revelations; Seeks His Arrest And Trial At ICC</b></div><div><br /></div><div>The International Society for Civil Liberties and Rule of Law has fully earned the enviable and unrivalled position as Nigeria’s “Nostradamus”. This is to the extent that we have, again, been vindicated by recent revelations by Mallam Nasiru El-Rufai, immediate past Gov of Kaduna State. The former Kaduna civilian Gov had had a video/audio clip of his boastful “successful transformation of Nigeria into Islamic State by successful replication of full Islamic rule in Kaduna State since 2015 at the Federal level”-culminating into emergence of Muslim-Muslim Presidency of Nigeria. Intersociety had severally and consistently disclosed in its several reports that the Southern Kaduna anti Christian butcheries and those of Benue, Plateau, Nassarawa, Kogi, Niger, Taraba, Adamawa and South-West, South-East and the rest are carefully planned, systematically executed and well funded State Jihadism Project; modeled after the ‘Sudanese Janjaweed’ of the Omar Hassan el-Bashir’s atrocious era (1989-2019). Intersociety had also categorically stated that its findings showed that the killings had nothing whatsoever to do with the so called “Farmers-Herders Clashes”.</div><div><br /></div><div>It must be remembered that Gov El-Rufai had in 2015 abolished the “Kaduna Charter of Equity” by scrapping ‘powering sharing between Muslims and Christians”. He not only scrapped positions reserved for Christians including seat of Deputy Gov of the State but also deployed state machineries including coercive instruments to unleash unchecked and ceaseless attacks and persecution of Christian leaders in the State. Not only that they were several times arrested and clamped into detention but also a number of Christian traditional rulers were killed or dethroned or sent to prisons and bylaws establishing their thrones abolished and replaced with Fulani Emirate codes. Figures of those killed or abducted in the State have also been consistently mangled or twisted to create a questionable database that looks as if “more Muslims are being killed or abducted than Christians in the State”. </div><div><br /></div><div><b>Joining Coalition Of Nigerians In UK In Calling For Arrest And Trial Of El-Rufai And Others At ICC</b></div><div><br /></div><div>Intersociety hereby joins the Coalition of Nigerians living in the United Kingdom in calling on the leaders of the Southern Kaduna, the Middle-Belt and the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) to go after Mallam el-Rufai by ensuring that he does not go scot-free or walk the streets of Nigeria and west Democracies freely as an outlaw. The UK Government as a State-Party to the Statute of the International Criminal Court of 1998 and domestication of same which also produces the current Chief Prosecutor of the Court should ensure that the likes of El-Rufai, Buhari, Buratai, Musa Daura, Arase, Alkali Baba and the rest of the served and the serving senior security officers in the country from the ranks of military Lieutenant Colonels and Police CSPs since August 2015 are blocked from setting their feet on UK soil or arrested and charged for crimes against humanity and genocide or incitement to same, if they do set their feet on UK Soil. Where it is found that they have appointive or elective engagements such as academic board (Oxford) in the case of El-Rufai, such appointments or elections should be terminated.</div><div><br /></div><div>Intersociety also wishes to unequivocally state that it is morally reprehensible for the UK Government to continue to play host and open its international doors to worst violators and abusers of human rights and promoters of genocide and genocidal incitements. The UK Government cannot probate and reprobate by globally parading itself as “a Democratic and Human Rights Respecter State” and at the same time found wanting as a country encouraging or harboring grisly and egregious human rights abuses and violations and their abusers or violators. This clarion call of ours on the UK Government is also extended to the Governments of United States, Canada, France, Germany, Portugal Netherlands, Switzerland, Ireland, Scotland, Denmark, Sweden, Australia, Norway, Spain, Italy, rest of Europe and the United Nations Organization as they should avoid replicating the infamous roles of “the Three Musketeers (UK, France and Belgium)” in the Rwandan Genocide of April-July 1994.</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>The link to the mother report of Easter Monday, 10th April 2023 is here: <a href="https://intersociety-ng.org/5068-citizens-massacred-for-being-christians-in-nigeria-in-2022-1041-slaughtered-in-first-100-days-of-2023/">https://intersociety-ng.org/5068-citizens-massacred-for-being-christians-in-nigeria-in-2022-1041-slaughtered-in-first-100-days-of-2023/</a></div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div>For: International Society for Civil Liberties and Rule of Law</div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div>Compiled By:</div><div><br /></div><div>Emeka Umeagbalasi, M.Sc.</div><div>Criminologist/Researcher</div><div>Board Chair, Intersociety</div><div><br /></div><div>Assisted By:</div><div>Chidinma Udegbunam Esquire</div><div>Intersociety’s Head, Campaign and Publicity Department</div><div><br /></div><div>Ndidiamaka Chinaza Bernard Esquire</div><div>Intersociety’s Head, Int’l Justice and Human Rights Program</div><div><br /></div><div>Ositadinma Agu</div><div>Intersociety’s Head, Int’l Contacts and Mobilization</div><div><br /></div><div>Contacts: </div><div>Phone/WhatsApp: +2348174090052</div><div>Email: info@intersociety-ng.org</div><div>Website: https://intersociety-ng.org</div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div><b>End</b></div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div>References</div><div><br /></div><div>Death toll in Benue communities attacks hit 40-June 3rd and 4th 2023</div><div>1. <a href="https://www.vanguardngr.com/2023/06/death-toll-in-benue-communities-attacks-hit-40/">https://www.vanguardngr.com/2023/06/death-toll-in-benue-communities-attacks-hit-40/</a>, </div><div><br /></div><div><a href="https://www.vanguardngr.com/2023/06/again-unknown-gunmen-kill-over-25-in-fresh-attack-on-benue-communities/">https://www.vanguardngr.com/2023/06/again-unknown-gunmen-kill-over-25-in-fresh-attack-on-benue-communities/</a></div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div>2. <a href="https://www.iconsnews.com/2023/06/muslim-muslim-ticket-we-shall-sustain.html?m=1">https://www.iconsnews.com/2023/06/muslim-muslim-ticket-we-shall-sustain.html?m=1</a>(Nasiru el-Rufai confirming State Jihadism project and Islamization and Nigerian Government sponsorship of anti Christian massacres and church destructions and burning of Christian schools and imposition of Muslim-Muslim Presidency on Nigeria</div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div>Over 200 Christians were massacred between 15th and 17th May 2023 by Fulani Jihadists in Mangu LGA and some parts of Riyom in Plateau State and over 32 communities sacked and Baptist Church lost 50 members alone</div><div><br /></div><div>3. <a href="https://saharareporters.com/2023/05/25/plateau-state-residents-confirm-over-200-persons-killed-32-communities-displaced">https://saharareporters.com/2023/05/25/plateau-state-residents-confirm-over-200-persons-killed-32-communities-displaced</a>,</div><div> </div><div><a href="https://www.rt.com/africa/577029-villagers-protest-militant-attacks-nigeria/">https://www.rt.com/africa/577029-villagers-protest-militant-attacks-nigeria/</a>,</div><div><br /></div><div><a href="https://news.band/plateau-attack-over-500-displaced-community-says-attackers-loot-homes/">https://news.band/plateau-attack-over-500-displaced-community-says-attackers-loot-homes/</a><br /></div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div>Over 300 Christians killed in 3 weeks of attacks (15th May-7th June 2023) in county in Plateau State of Nigeria; 28 churches destroyed. At least 300 Christians have been massacred in one county of Plateau state, Nigeria, since mid-May, including the killing of two pastors on Sunday, sources said. In Mangu County, Fulani terrorists killed the Rev. Shadrack Ayuba of the Assembly of God Nigeria church in Ntin Kombun village and the Rev. Mangmwos Tangshak Daniel of the Nigeria Baptist Convention in Kantoma village, said the Rev. Timothy Daluk, chairman of the Mangu Local Government Area Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN). Pastor Daluk said in an interview with Morning Star News in Mangu town on Tuesday that since mid-May, Fulani terrorists have killed 300 Christians, displaced 30,000 residents, destroyed 28 church buildings and 2,000 houses and looted 150 trailer loads of grains in the Mangu Local Government Area. Residents of the county’s Ajin village, near Panya town, said that on Sunday night, Fulani terrorists destroyed homes and a worship church building of the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN). The Rev. Jacob Dashop, chairman of the Provincial Church Council, Gindiri, of the COCIN, said that from May 15 to May 17, more than 200 Christians were killed in Fulani herdsmen attacks on the Mangu LGA villages of Kubwat-Bwai, Fungzai-Bwai, Aloghom-Mangu, Ntam-Mangu, Ligit-lubang/Sabon Layi-Bungha, Jwakji- Panyam, Washna-Panyam, Jwak-Maitumbi-Halle, Murish-Halle, Kikyau-Halle Danhausa-Halle, Gongong-Halle, Gyambwas-Halle, Kyampuus, Ntul-Halle, Gwet-Pushit, Jwakchom-Pushit, Larkas-Pushit, Jwak Ras-Mangu, Kantoma and Gaude.“Christians killed in Fungzai-Mangu village by Fulani terrorists are mostly women and children; they were buried in a mass grave on Tuesday, 16 May,” Pastor Dashop said.</div><div><br /></div><div>4. <a href="https://www.christianpost.com/news/hundreds-of-christians-killed-in-3-weeks-of-attacks-in-nigeria.html">https://www.christianpost.com/news/hundreds-of-christians-killed-in-3-weeks-of-attacks-in-nigeria.html</a></div><div><br /></div><div>Crackdowns on Southern Kaduna Christian Leaders continues as El-Rufai bans Southern Kaduna Group hours to end of his tenure on 28th May 2023</div><div>5. <a href="https://www.punchng.com/el-rufai-proscribes-southern-kaduna-group/">https://www.punchng.com/el-rufai-proscribes-southern-kaduna-group/</a></div><div>Buried, 18 missing (23 killed) after jihadist gunmen launched vicious attack in Takum, Taraba State on Sunday, 20th May 2023</div><div>5. <a href="https://dailytrust.com/5-buried-18-missing-after-attack-on-community-in-taraba/">https://dailytrust.com/5-buried-18-missing-after-attack-on-community-in-taraba/</a></div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div>Again, armed herders storm Benue LG, kill 18, behead women, children on Sunday evening of 21st May 2023. IPOB completely rejects any ill-concieved surgery on our leader, Mazi Nnamdi KANU, the leader of IPOB, who has been illegally and unconstitutionally detained in DSS dungeon for 2 years without charge. We reiterate that he should be released to his personal physicians who will perform the prescribed ear surgery on him. </p><p><br /></p><p>We want to draw the attention of IPOB worldwide, all lovers of freedom and lovers of Biafra on the dangerous plans to neutralize Mazi Nnamdi Kanu through ear surgery by the enemies on DSS medical team. </p><p><br /></p><p>It's obvious that DSS has intentions to eliminate our leader through this ill-conceived ear surgery. That's why they refused to allow Mazi Nnamdi KANU access to his personal and trusted physicians. </p><p><br /></p><p>Therefore, we reject any DSS or Nigeria Government sponsored surgery on our leader while he is still being detained illegally in solitary confinement. </p><p><br /></p><p>It's true that our leader requires urgent ear surgery from the injury the Nigeria Agents inflicted on him when he was kidnapped and tortured in Kenya however, such surgery will not take place while he is still inside DSS dungeon. What will happen if he develops any medical complications during or after the surgery in the detention facilities? Mazi Nnamdi KANU must be unconditionally released as the courts ordered or released on medical grounds to attend to his health. </p><p><br /></p><p>If Nigerian DSS could not find a qualified ENT doctor to handle Buhari’s ear infections during his eight years in office, how come DSS suddenly have qualified ENT doctors in their team to carry out ear surgery on Mazi Nnamdi Kanu? The same way Buhari was a leader of a nation is the same way Mazi Nnamdi KANU is a leader of 75m people of Biafra Nation. IPOB is capable of taking our leader to any part of the world for the best medical services.</p><p><br /></p><p>We, therefore, once again call on the Nigeria Government and DSS to release Mazi Nnamdi Okwuchukwu KANU. If anything untoward happens to him, they will dance to any tune IPOB will play for them. We warn them with their cohorts who are showcasing some doctors as Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's doctors to cease and desist. </p><p><br /></p><p>We urge Biafrans to oppose the planned ear surgery on Mazi Nnamdi KANU as planned by Nigeria Government and DSS agents.</p><p><br /></p><p>There are serious indications that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will not make it alive if he goes into any operation under the enemies supervision. Mazi Chinasa Nworu will be coming on the air by the weekend to speak on this serious subject and the risk associated with the enemy's planned ear surgery on our leader. </p><p><br /></p><p>Let the Nigeria Government and DSS release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to his personal physicians to handle the ear surgery. DSS, who were responsible for his ear injury through the brutal torture, can not be trusted to heal him by surgery on the same ear. Moreso, DSS must not force or medically subdue our leader in order to perform any surgery on him because that will be a declaration of war on Biafrans. If they want to see, let them try such rubbish. Mazi Nnamdi KANU needs urgent surgery, and the only option acceptable to us IPOB worldwide is his unconditional release as ordered by the courts or release on medical grounds to his personal physicians for the said ear surgery. </p><p><br /></p><p>We call on IPOB and MNK legal teams both home and abroad to reject the Nigeria Government's proposed ear surgery on Mazi Nnamdi KANU. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s wife and his siblings must reject such an offer, too. Mazi Nnamdi KANU is the leader of over 75 million indigenous people of Biafra, and his health is a national concern that must not be handled carelessly. They range from Army, Navy, Police, Civil Defence, Customs, FRSC, etc. My journey had taken me by road from Isele-Mkpitime, where I had gone to pay tribute to a Nigerian icon, Chief (Dr) P.K.C. Isagba, the Odogwu of Isele-Mkpitime. He was one of the first Nigerians to believe in my ability as a young fledgling lawyer. I had been handling his cases whilst at Chief Gani Fawehinmi’s Chambers. When I left as Deputy Head to set up my practice in January 1986, Chief Isagba personally went to Chief Gani Fawehinmi, to allow him move his files to me, to continue handling his cases; a request the amiable and selfless Gani granted immediately. So, Chief Isagba became my first major client as a tottering practising lawyer, trying to find my groggy feet. He became my bossom friend and elder brother.</p><p><br /></p><p>My journey from Isele-Mkpitime, through Asaba, to Port-Harcourt, told me clearly that the entire Igbo land is locked down in a physical, psychological and mental siege, reminiscent of a civil war time.</p><p><br /></p><p>When the Civil War ended January 15, 1970, the then military ruler, General “Jack” Yakubu Gowon, who became Head of State, at 31 and a bachelor, proclaimed the three Rs: “Reconciliation, Reconstruction and Rehabilitation”, which heralded his policy of “No Victor, No Vanquished”. This was after the unfortunate failure of the 4th-5th January, 1967, of the “Aburi Accord”, that would have prevented the bloody war in which over 2 million civilians and 100, 000 military combatants were killed. Or, was it an historical mistake that these people who had already manufactured “Ogbunigwe” (series of weapons, that included detonation mines, IED, and rocket propelled missiles), with which they prosecuted the Nigeria – Biafra war between 1967 and 1970, were prevented from leaving Nigeria? Perhaps, we would today have had a Japan, Singapore or South Korea lying side by side a sprawling “giant of Africa” on clay legs.</p><p><br /></p><p>These policies were meant to quickly heal the gaping wounds of the gruesome blood-letting, forget the horrors and evils of the fratricidal war and quickly reintegrate the Igbos into the society.</p><p><br /></p><p>But, have these hardworking, gregarious “Jews” of Nigeria been reconciled, rehabilitated and reintegrated into the mainstream of the Nigerian society? I doubt it. Simple proof: show me any Igbo man in today’s all powerful cabal kitchen cabinet of PMB’s Government. My journey from Isele-Mkpitime, Delta State, through Asaba, Onitsha, Oba, Oraifite, Okija, Ihiala, Mgbidi, Awomama, Owerri, Aba to Port-Harcourt, was a strangulating reminder that the Igbos, inspite of their unquantifiable contributions to the commerce, industry and innovations that drive the non-oil sector of the Nigerian economy and give it oxygen, are nearly a conquered people. The check-points along the above stretch of road are nauseating and asphyxiating, as the security agencies, including para-military ones out-do each other to harass, torment, search, intimidate and extort money from travelers.</p><p><br /></p><p>Earlier journeys by road (I travel a lot on professional duties), had shown me the same siege through countless roadblocks: Enugu, through the Ugwogo Nike-Opi-Nsukka Road; Amansea in Awka-Ugwuoba Oji River; Nnewi, Alor, Ekwulobia, Amesi, Ugar, Umuchu; Okigwe, Awgu and Ituku Ozalla, Umuahia and Isiala-Ngwa, on Enugu-Port Harcourt expressway. On the Umuahia-Ikot Ekpene highway, you have exasperating road blocks at Michael Okpara University junction; Isingwu-Nkweogwu junction of the Isuikwuato-Uzuakoli-Ajayi-Igbere road; and the 14 Brigade Army barracks junction at the Ohafia-Arochukwu highway.</p><p><br /></p><p>As you are crossing one check point, a mere look ahead of you, of less than half a kilometer, will reveal another barricade. It is all so frustrating. There is no war, or security breach. South East is not North East where Boko Haram still calls the shots (forget about Government’s pet words of “we have degraded Boko Haram”; Boko Haram is still very potent, controlling large areas, killing and maiming people on a daily basis. Their representative said that much at the 2nd May, 2017, Re-Union meeting of the 2014 National Conference delegates at Daar Communications Centre, Abuja, where I delivered the keynote address).</p><p><br /></p><p>Yet, in this Boko Haram-ravaged region, you would not find this armada of security, treating the entire geo-political zone made up of five states (the least in Nigeria; some others have seven states), like a conquered territory.</p><p><br /></p><p>It is only the recent suit by my good friend, Olisa Agbakoba, SAN, (six of us founded the Civil Liberties Organization (CLO) – the first human rights body in Nigeria-on 15th October, 1987), over “marginalisation of the South East region”, that has perhaps brought to the front burner, these disturbing tons of injustice. That is why no one can ignore Nnamdi Kanu and his IPOB, Ralph Uwazurike’s MASSOB, etc, agitating for self –determination, a right sanctioned and recognised even by the UNO.</p><p><br /></p><p>These fully armed and trigger-happy security personnel have never taken steps to protect the Igbo race, against rampaging Fulani Herdsmen that raid their homes, to maim, kill and rape their wives (remember Nimbo in Uzo Uwani LGA in Enugu State). They have never repelled the incessant reign of terror by armed robbers, kidnappers, hired assassins and murderers. No, they are stationed there for three main reasons: (1) check the bid for self determination by the Igbos; (2) extort money from the wealthy and poor Igbo traders who ply these routes; (3) remind the Igbos that the all powerful Federal Government is on ground to silence the people and force them to toe their ruling party line. Wait a minute; is that why some prominent Igbos, including erstwhile leaders, members of the BOT and two-time Governors for eight years under PDP, have been outdoing each other to decamp to a non-performing and fundamentally flawed party like the APC? Let me end this piece by recommending to the Ndigbos, the legendary Hubert Ogunde’s immortal words, in his most famous 1964 play, “Yoruba Ronu” (“Yorubas, think”), a stinging satire that got his theatre company banned, which ban was later lifted in 1966, by the new military Governor.</p><p><br /></p><p>Ndigbos, cheenu echiche (Igbos, think).</p>Eluwa Chidiebere Chinazuhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11427633394924661503noreply@blogger.com0
