BUHARI’S DECEPTIVE SLOGAN: THE 'CHANGE' THAT DESTROYED NIGERIA~By Ezza Heritage

Wednesday 17 August, 2016

Before May 29th, 2015 that ushered in the present imbecilic APC-led administration, the much talked about mantra was "the change we need." Streets in Kano, Kaduna, Sokoto, and even Abuja were filled with sign posts bearing "chanji." An unregistered new radio station called "Radio Chanji" even emerged with strong warning messages that "the Dogs and Baboons will be soaked in blood" if Buhari did not win the election.

Television stations also carried the "chanji" phobia even though the prostitute NTA now speaking with both sides of their mouths was vocal to point out the past errors and flaws of the person clamouring for "change" and advised that people should not even consider to vote him. But when the game began, the hell was let loose as thugs, military and police intimidation was predominant with reports of under-aged voting in every place in the North and cases of snatched ballot boxes reported as APC carefully carried out its heinous crime of coming to power by force even when it lacked the credibility for good governance.

Many people were repulsive of the "chanji" messages especially that of "Dogs and Baboons being soaked in their blood" and questioned the credibility of a man with such utterance. Yet the Nigerian society was not perturbed by such audacious public statement credited to a leader to-be. They went ahead and "voted" him into office. The first gift he gave the "Dogs and Baboons" was to hike the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) commonly known as Petrol from 87 naira to 145 naira. This is against his electoral promise to reduce petrol pump price from the N87 per litre that he met it.

This is the step to the change that destroyed Nigeria! We also remember that on April 14, 2015, Buhari’s ally and former Minister of Petroleum and Energy, Prof. Tam David-West, told Nigerians that Muhammadu Buhari would reduce the fuel pump price from N87 to N40 per litre if he became President.

Buhari did not debunk this statement made by his friend and major supporter even after "winning" the election. It is no longer news today that the much talked about "chanji" was actually meant "chain" as people now reel out the effects of harsh economic policy and draconian, promise-and-fail government.

People are now seeing the same thing that Nnamdi Kanu said before now about Nigerian government and their system of doing things. They are now confirming that Nigeria is a country where leaders make promise and outrightly beak it because they are in power. These things, of course have adverse effects not only to the development of the society but also to the economy which continues to suffer under the watch of a leader who knows nothing and has nothing to offer to push the country forward.

Such leaders will not be found in Biafra because it is not worth it and would neither contribute to the growth of our new nation, Biafra. Rather, our leaders would be very vocal, God fearing, and having the interest of the people at heart like Nnamdi Kanu and not like Buhari whose sole aim and objective is to kill all Biafrans and possibly enslave their wives and children as his war loot.

Leaders in Biafra will not be dictators nor power-drunk no matter who they are. They will never disobey court order of any sort like Buhari and turn back to the same court for more orders to clamp down on their antagonists. We set the pace for good governance, and court orders and legal disciplines would be our watch word in the land of the rising sun.

Biafra is alive! Biafra is loading!! Biafra I love you!!!
