Biafra: IPOB demands Kanu’s health status

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has called for the examination of the health condition of their leader, Nnamdi Kanu by medical experts following the recent alleged tear-gas thrown into his cell room by Kuje prison officials.

The group’s Media and Publicity secretary, Comrade Emma Powerful, in a statement yesterday, said the teargas shot into Kanu’s room was allegedly poisoned to systematically cause his death.
The statement read in part: “IPOB is crying out to the entire world over the assassination attempt made by President Buhari and his secret police the DSS, through the prison authorities and warders in Kuje prison against the leader of the IPOB.

‘The IPOB observed through the intelligent unit that the US Secretary of State John Kerry’s visit to the northern Muslim was a plan to teargas those in Kuje prison targeted at Kanu to die systematic death and the teargas shot to Kanu’s room was a poisoned one.”
