THEIR DEATHS OUR FREEDOM, ALL WE OWE IS TO REMEMBER THEM.

The incident of the world most awful genocide committed against Biafrans during the war in 1960s which this year is its 50th Anniversary is an act of suppression and a violation of human rights on Biafrans where innocent men, women and children were killed only for demanding their legal rights.

Not only that these people died out of Nigeria’s treachery, we the Indigenous People of Biafra should count their death as an act of sacrifice and love without measures to ensure that there is a human remnant in Biafra which we can all be proud of being it’s indigenes today.

Each time I sing the Biafra National Anthem and get to the third stanza, tears droop from my cheek. It tells me about the life which I live because others laid down theirs to secure mine. It teaches me how to Love, how to Sacrifice and how to be Courageous even till death and above all it reminds me about the lives of innocent children, women and men who died because they sought for my right and the right of my own generation unborn which is Biafra.

It is true we the indigenous people of Biafra are living under the Buhari’s government which subdues all aspects of human rights and which misinterprets the meaning of freedom but through our resilience, courage and a strong determination to attain our freedom, Nigerian government will have no option than to let us go.

30th May, 2016 will mark it’s fiftieth year of the bold step taken by our forefathers under the command of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, to demand for our freedom which resulted to the killing of our past heroes. They were killed when they had nothing to defend themselves but by the special knowledge of  God, ChukwuOkike Abhiama they were able to make something out of nothing.

This 2016, so many repetition of that genocide against Biafrans have been carried out by Buhari's government and his armed forces. They have killed our people who are only protesting without arms for the freedom of Biafra. We are all the victims of these dreadful incidents, we have lost our loved ones and our friends.

Just few days ago, our people were surrounded and massacred by Boko haram under the guise of Hausa-Fulani herdsmen in Nimbo Community Uzo-Uwani Enugu state. While still counting our loss, another terror was unleashed on our people yesterday in Aba the 5th May 2016, by Hausa killers in army and police uniform, which resulted in the death of several Biafrans.

They paid these ultimate price for us to also ensure we secure the lives of others. We owe them nothing than to remember them and care for their families. We must tell our story because no one else will tell it for us. We therefore call on all lovers of freedom and all hardcore Biafrans to wake up and match boldly to remember these innocent Biafrans who rendered their lives for our living.

Let us paint our town with Red, Black, Green and the Rising Sun to commemorate the amazing gift from these gallant heroes who paid the price of death for our freedom. On 30th May, these heroes will know if we truly love and value their sacrifice. Let us come out boldly for their remembrance.

We shall always remember, all that perished,

In the struggle for our freedom, all hail our heroes

Our prayers shall bemoan, both day and night

Say them always, all hail Biafra!
