FUEL SUBSIDY DOES NOT EXIST: BUHARI BETWEEN YOU AND GOODLUCK JONATHAN WHO IS THE FRAUDSTER?

It baffles me that the self-acclaimed giant of Africa has continued to be a staggering disgrace among the league of Nations, it has clearly proven that it is rather a giant of nuisance, chaos and savagery. The APC-led government of Muhammadu Buhari has obviously become a catastrophic failure and a nightmare for the people of Nigeria. Muhammadu Buhari totally lacks initiative, civility and genuine reasoning, he has further validated Biafra’s reasons for seeking self-determination. Buhari has ended up deceiving the masses with his CHANGE mantra. Same man who accused Jonathan by saying that "Fuel subsidy does not exist", has turned around to chew his words by claiming to have removed subsidy.

This is one of the reasons Nigeria is being addressed as the zoo, because it is characterized by ineptitude, confusion and barbarism. How can it be justified that an oil producing state with up to four refineries continues to experience petrol price hikes and scarcity? What happened to the refineries in Nigeria? Why should they not be fixed to full production capacity? Why is Nigeria exporting its oil abroad to be refined when there’re refineries in Nigeria?

This is an evidence of the level of ineptitude and corruption inherent in the Nigerian system?   Nigeria, since 1973, has continued to experience incessant fuel scarcity and price increases, with few marginal reductions. Almost all the Presidents that have ruled the country has made it a point of duty to hike fuel prices at one time or the other with absolutely nothing to show for it. With absolutely no plans to set the refineries into full production capacity.

The Minister of State for Petroleum - Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, had earlier on Wednesday, announced that effective from, May 11th 2016, that the new pump price would not be more than N145 per litre. This is utterly irrational and illogical and only aimed at further impoverishing the people in order to achieve self-serving economic aspirations. Although the oil belong to Biafrans and ordinarily we should be unhappy about the increment, but then we know that only the continual increase in the suffering of Nigerians will give us Biafra faster.

It is tantamount to killing a willing horse, to ask Biafrans, who are already carrying the heavy burden of the failure of governance over the years, to take on one more load of extreme economic hardship, as represented by the imposed petrol hike price.   Biafrans’ allegiance is to Biafra’s independence. But for the moment, whenever Nigerians come under the hammer blows of insensitive policies, we are duty-bound to speak up in defense of ordinary citizens. As is the case with this latest petrol price hike, we must place it on record that it is absolutely anti-people.

With the many economic woes afflicting Nigeria, including job losses, massive unemployment, galloping inflation and many more, the least of the things expected is for the Government of Nigeria to grant Biafra independence and to allow some form of recovery to take place through a palliative stimulus package directed at the economy, in order to revive it, before placing any further burdens. To our utmost disappointment however, ordinary Biafrans have been hung out to dry, and left at the mercy of shylock petrol importers.

It is very sad that these importers who can mobilize funds to import petrol but cannot invest in refineries, are the ones being given a free rein to exert profit from the blood and sweat of ordinary Biafrans.   I wonder why ordinary Biafrans would be made to bear the brunt of government ineptitude and crimes of economic sabotage, which government with all its might, is not ready to tackle.

This endless prevarication has kept Nigerians in the dark about the real issues in the oil and gas sector. The people of Biafra have long endured Buhari and Nigerian’s gruesome and reckless policies, hence Biafra’s self-determination is the answer to Biafra’s problems.
